CapGeo-Bench: Decoupling Visual Perception from Reasoning and Evaluating Geometric Understanding

While Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) have achieved remarkable success in difficult purely textual mathematical reasoning tasks, even advanced closed-source models such as GPT-o3 still struggle with geometric problems. This discrepancy motivates us to investigate the root cause: is the bottleneck of multimodal geometric reasoning rooted in reasoning itself, or in the perception of geometric information from diagrams? To answer this question, we conduct an exploratory experiment and find that providing high-quality captions consistently and substantially boosts performance of MLLMs, empirically validating the visual perception bottleneck in geometric reasoning. However, MLLMs' capabilities in visual geometric perception remain insufficiently evaluated. To fill the gap, we propose CapGeo-Bench, a benchmark of 4,641 high-quality figure-caption pairs equipped with a fine-grained keypoint-based evaluation metric. Specifically, CapGeo-Bench encompasses three geometric classes and is divided into four difficulty levels according to the complexity of geometric primitives. Captions are scored at a fine-grained level by extracting keypoints along three dimensions-geometric elements, spatial relationships, and numerical attributes. CapGeo-Bench provides a reliable instrument and guideline for evaluating and advancing MLLMs' geometric perception capabilities. LingDT-VL-OCR: Structure-Aware Document-Level Parsing with Fine-Grained Visual Reference

In this paper, we propose LingDT-VL-OCR, a document parsing system tailored to financial-domain documents, transforming ultra-long financial PDFs into semantically consistent, highly accurate, structured outputs with auditing-grade provenance. To address finance-specific challenges such as complex layouts, cross-page structural discontinuities, and cell-level referencing capability, LingDT-VL-OCR combines (1) a Cross-page Contents Consolidation algorithm to restore continuity across pages and a Document-level Heading Hierarchy Reconstruction (DHR) module to build a globally consistent Table of Contents (TOC) tree for structure-aware retrieval, and (2) a difficulty-adaptive curriculum learning training strategy for table parsing, together with a CellBBoxRegressor module that uses structural anchor tokens to localize table cells from decoder hidden states without external detectors. Experiments demonstrate that our model shows high performance on the Overall metric of OmniDocBench. To enable realistic evaluation in the financial vertical, we further introduce FinDocBench, a benchmark that includes six financial document categories with expert-verified annotations and evaluation metrics including Table of Contents edit-distance-based similarity (TocEDS), cross-page concatenated TEDS, and Table Cell Intersection over Union (C-IoU). We evaluate a wide range of state-of-the-art models on FinDocBench to assess their capabilities and remaining limitations on financial documents. Overall, LingDT-VL-OCR and FinDocBench provide a practical foundation for reliable downstream financial document applications.

SixthSense: Task-Agnostic Proprioception-Only Whole-Body Wrench Estimation for Humanoids

Humanoid robots are entering our physical world at scale, yet as oversized toys--good at singing and dancing, but short on force-interaction capabilities for practical tasks. Bridging this gap necessitates prioritizing reliable contact perception as a fundamental requirement. Estimating external wrenches in humanoids is complicated by floating-base dynamics and indeterminate contact locations. Existing analytical frameworks require idealistic assumptions and hard-to-obtain measurements, which are often unavailable in practice. To bridge this gap, we propose SixthSense, a task-agnostic approach that infers whole-body contact timing, location, and wrenches from proprioception and IMU data alone. To capture the multi-modal dynamics between unstructured contact inputs and the uncertain motion outputs, we employ conditional flow matching to tokenize proprioceptive histories and estimate a spatiotemporally sparse contact-event flow. SixthSense serves as a plug-and-play perception module for applications including collision detection, physical human-robot interaction, and force-feedback teleoperation. Experiments across standing, walking, and whole-body motion-tracking policies showcased unprecedented performance in diverse behaviors.

MinerU2.5: A Decoupled Vision-Language Model for Efficient High-Resolution Document Parsing

We introduce MinerU2.5, a 1.2B-parameter document parsing vision-language model that achieves state-of-the-art recognition accuracy while maintaining exceptional computational efficiency. Our approach employs a coarse-to-fine, two-stage parsing strategy that decouples global layout analysis from local content recognition. In the first stage, the model performs efficient layout analysis on downsampled images to identify structural elements, circumventing the computational overhead of processing high-resolution inputs. In the second stage, guided by the global layout, it performs targeted content recognition on native-resolution crops extracted from the original image, preserving fine-grained details in dense text, complex formulas, and tables. To support this strategy, we developed a comprehensive data engine that generates diverse, large-scale training corpora for both pretraining and fine-tuning. Ultimately, MinerU2.5 demonstrates strong document parsing ability, achieving state-of-the-art performance on multiple benchmarks, surpassing both general-purpose and domain-specific models across various recognition tasks, while maintaining significantly lower computational overhead.

Robust Training of Graph Neural Networks via Noise Governance

Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have become widely-used models for semi-supervised learning. However, the robustness of GNNs in the presence of label noise remains a largely under-explored problem. In this paper, we consider an important yet challenging scenario where labels on nodes of graphs are not only noisy but also scarce. In this scenario, the performance of GNNs is prone to degrade due to label noise propagation and insufficient learning. To address these issues, we propose a novel RTGNN (Robust Training of Graph Neural Networks via Noise Governance) framework that achieves better robustness by learning to explicitly govern label noise. More specifically, we introduce self-reinforcement and consistency regularization as supplemental supervision. The self-reinforcement supervision is inspired by the memorization effects of deep neural networks and aims to correct noisy labels. Further, the consistency regularization prevents GNNs from overfitting to noisy labels via mimicry loss in both the inter-view and intra-view perspectives. To leverage such supervisions, we divide labels into clean and noisy types, rectify inaccurate labels, and further generate pseudo-labels on unlabeled nodes. Supervision for nodes with different types of labels is then chosen adaptively. This enables sufficient learning from clean labels while limiting the impact of noisy ones. We conduct extensive experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of our RTGNN framework, and the results validate its consistent superior performance over state-of-the-art methods with two types of label noises and various noise rates.
