Polar sets for $m$-subharmonic functions on compact Hermitian manifolds

We prove a sharp decay of capacity of sublevel sets of a $(ω,m)$-subharmonic functions on a $n$-dimensional compact Hermitian manifold $(X,ω)$ which generalizes the case $m=n$ as well as the case $1\leq m\leq n$ on a compact Kähler manifold. We also obtain the full characterizations of polar sets of such functions in terms of the corresponding local and global capacities, and of the extremal functions.

Hölder estimates for degenerate complex Monge-Ampère equations

Uniform $L^\infty$ and Hölder estimates were proved by the Kolodziej for complex Monge-Ampère equations on compact Kähler manifolds with $L^p$ volume measure with $p>1$. On the other hand, establishing Hölder estimates on singular Kähler varieties has remained open. In this paper, we establish uniform Hölder continuity for a family of complex Monge-Ampère equations on Kähler varieties, by developing a geometric regularization based on the partial $C^0$ estimate, i.e., quantitive Kodaira embeddings. As an application, we prove that local potentials of smoothable Kähler-Einstein varieties are Hölder continuous.

A remark on the Hölder regularity of solutions to the complex Hessian equation

We prove that the Dirichlet problem for the complex Hessian equation has the Hölder continuous solution provided it has a subsolution with this property. Compared to the previous result of Benali-Zeriahi and Charabati-Zeriahi we remove the assumption on the finite total mass of the measure on the right hand side.

Complex Hessian measures with respect to a background Hermitian form

We develop potential theory for $m$-subharmonic functions with respect to a Hermitian metric on a Hermitian manifold. First, we show that the complex Hessian operator is well-defined for bounded functions in this class. This allows to define the $m$-capacity and then showing the quasi-continuity of $m$-subharmonic functions. Thanks to this we derive other results parallel to those in pluripotential theory such as the equivalence between polar sets and negligible sets. The theory is then used to study the complex Hessian equation on compact Hermitian manifold with boundary, with the right hand side of the equation admitting a bounded subsolution. This is an extension of a recent result of Collins and Picard dealing with classical solutions.

Weak convergence of Monge-Ampère measures on compact Hermitian manifolds

We give a sufficient condition on a sequence of uniformly bounded $ω$-plurisubharmonic functions, $ω$ being a Hermitian metric, for which the sequence of associated Monge-Ampère measures converges weakly. This criterion can be used to obtained a bounded $ω$-plurisubharmonic solution to the Monge-Ampère equation.

The Dirichlet problem for the Monge-Ampère equation on Hermitian manifolds with boundary

We study weak quasi-plurisubharmonic solutions to the Dirichlet problem for the complex Monge-Amère equation on a general Hermitian manifold with non-empty boundary. We prove optimal subsolution theorems: for bounded and Hölder continuous quasi-plurisubharmonic functions. The continuity of the solution is proved for measures that well dominated by capacity, for example measures with $L^p$, $p>1$ densities, or moderate measures in the sense of Dinh-Nguyen-Sibony.

The complex Sobolev Space and Hölder continuous solutions to Monge-Ampère equations

Let $X$ be a compact Kähler manifold of dimension $n$ and $ω$ a Kähler form on $X$. We consider the complex Monge-Ampère equation $(dd^c u+ω)^n=μ$, where $μ$ is a given positive measure on $X$ of suitable mass and $u$ is an $ω$-plurisubharmonic function. We show that the equation admits a Hölder continuous solution {\it if and only if} the measure $μ$, seen as a functional on a complex Sobolev space $W^*(X)$, is Hölder continuous. A similar result is also obtained for the complex Monge-Ampère equations on domains of $\mathbb{C}^n$.

Continuous solutions to Monge-Ampère equations on Hermitian manifolds for measures dominated by capacity

We prove the existence of a continuous quasi-plurisubharmonic solution to the Monge-Ampère equation on a compact Hermitian manifold for a very general measre on the right hand side. We admit measures dominated by capacity in a certain manner, in particular, moderate measures studied by Dinh-Nguyen-Sibony. As a consequence, we give a characterization of measures admitting Hölder continuous quasi-plurisubharmonic potential, inspired by the work of Dinh-Nguyen.

Morse-type integrals on non-Kähler manifolds

We pose a conjecture about Morse-type integrals in nef (1,1) classes on compact Hermitian manifolds, and we show that it holds for semipositive classes, or when the manifold admits certain special Hermitian metrics.

Stability and regularity of solutions of the Monge-Ampère equation on Hermitian manifolds

We prove stability of solutions of the complex Monge-Ampère equation on compact Hermitian manifolds, when the right hand side varies in a bounded set in $L^p, p>1$ and it is bounded away from zero. Such solutions are shown to be Hölder continuous. As an application we extend a recent result of Székelyhidi and Tosatti on Kähler-Einstein equation from Kähler to Hermitian manifolds.

Weak solutions of complex Hessian equations on compact Hermitian manifolds

We prove the existence of weak solutions of complex $m-$Hessian equations on compact Hermitian manifolds for the nonnegative right hand side belonging to $L^p, p>n/m$ ($n$ is the dimension of the manifold). For smooth, positive data the equation has been recently solved by Szekelyhidi and Zhang. We also give a stability result for such solutions.

Liouville and Calabi-Yau type theorems for complex Hessian equations

We prove a Liouville type theorem for entire maximal $m$-subharmonic functions in $\mathbb C^n$ with bounded gradient. This result, coupled with a standard blow-up argument, yields a (non-explicit) a priori gradient estimate for the complex Hessian equation on a compact Kähler manifold. This terminates the program, initiated by Hou, Ma and Wu, of solving the non-degenerate Hessian equation on such manifolds in full generality. We also obtain, using our previous work, continuous weak solutions in the degenerate case for the right hand side in some $L^p, $ with sharp bound on $p$.

A priori estimates for the complex Hessian equations

We prove some $L^{\infty}$ a priori estimates as well as existence and stability theorems for the weak solutions of the complex Hessian equations in domains of $C^n$ and on compact Kähler manifolds. We also show optimal $L^p$ integrability for m-subharmonic functions with compact singularities, thus partially confirming a conjecture of Blocki. Finally we obtain a local regularity result for $W^{2,p}$ solutions of the real and complex Hessian equations under suitable regularity assumptions on the right hand side. In the real case the method of this proof improves a result of Urbas.

Hölder continuous solutions to Monge-Ampère equations

Let $(X,ω)$ be a compact Kähler manifold. We obtain uniform Hölder regularity for solutions to the complex Monge-Ampère equation on $X$ with $L^p$ right hand side, $p>1$. The same regularity is furthermore proved on the ample locus in any big cohomology class. We also study the range $\MAH(X,ω)$ of the complex Monge-Ampère operator acting on $ω$-plurisubharmonic Hölder continuous functions. We show that this set is convex, by sharpening Kołodziej's result that measures with $L^p$-density belong to $\MAH(X,ω)$ and proving that $\MAH(X,ω)$ has the "$L^p$-property", $p>1$. We also describe accurately the symmetric measures it contains.
