The Multi-speaker Multi-style Voice Cloning Challenge 2021

The Multi-speaker Multi-style Voice Cloning Challenge (M2VoC) aims to provide a common sizable dataset as well as a fair testbed for the benchmarking of the popular voice cloning task. Specifically, we formulate the challenge to adapt an average TTS model to the stylistic target voice with limited data from target speaker, evaluated by speaker identity and style similarity. The challenge consists of two tracks, namely few-shot track and one-shot track, where the participants are required to clone multiple target voices with 100 and 5 samples respectively. There are also two sub-tracks in each track. For sub-track a, to fairly compare different strategies, the participants are allowed to use only the training data provided by the organizer strictly. For sub-track b, the participants are allowed to use any data publicly available. In this paper, we present a detailed explanation on the tasks and data used in the challenge, followed by a summary of submitted systems and evaluation results.

Multi Phase in Cold Dense Quark Matter

In this article, we study dynamic chiral symmetry breaking at zero temperature, finite chemical potential and external magnetic field with massless NJL model. We have proposed a mathematical method to classify phases in phase diagram of cold dense quark matter, and use mathematical analysis to identify the multi phase phenomenon among solutions for gap equation which means with fixed chemical potential and magnetic field, there could be two phases coexisting.

Fermion Self-energy and Pseudovector Condensate in NJL Model with External Magnetic Field

In this paper, we aim to study the complete self-energy in the fermion propagator within two-flavor NJL model in the case of finite temperature, chemical potential and external magnetic field. Through Fierz transformation we prove that the self-energy is not simply proportional to dynamical mass in the presence of chemical potential, moreover, it contains four kinds of condensates after introducing external magnetic field. We find out the appropriate and complete form of self-energy and establish new gap equations. We take two of the four condensates (scalar and pseudovector condensates) to make an approximation and simplify the gap equations. The numerical results show that not only the dynamical mass get quantitative modification, but also the properties of Nambu phase and Wigner phase are significantly different with classic results. Instead of classic Wigner phase with zero dynamic mass in the massless NJL model, we propose a new phase - quasi-Wigner phase in this article, it has small but nonzero dynamic mass, with increasing chemical potential, eventually Nambu phase will turn into quasi-Wigner phase with first-order phase transition, therefore the chiral symmetry can never be fully restored but be partially restored. Furthermore, we prove that pseudovector condensate in self-energy can generate energy splitting in dispersion relation, it will cause minor differences of particle numbers with the split energy levels.

Discussion on Lorentz Invariance Violation of Non-commutative Field Theory and Neutrino Oscillation

Depending on deformed canonical anti-commutation relations, massless neutrino oscillation based on Lorentz invariance violation in non-commutative field theory is discussed. It is found that the previous studies about massless neutrino oscillation within deformed canonical anti-commutation relations should satisfy the condition of new Moyal product and new non standard commutation relations. Furthermore, comparing the Lorentz Invariant Violation parameters $\mathit{A}$ in the previous studies with new Moyal product and new non standard commutation relations, we find that the orders of magnitude of non-commutative parameters (Lorentz invariant Violation parameters $\mathit{A}$) is not self-consistent. This inconsistency means that the previous studies of Lorentz invariance violation in non-commutative field theory may not naturally explain massless neutrino oscillation. In other words, it should be impossible to explain neutrino oscillation by Lorentz invariance violation in non-commutative field theory. This conclusion is supported by the latest atmospheric neutrinos experimental results from the Super-Kamiokande Collaboration, which show that no evidence of Lorentz invariance violation on atmospheric neutrinos was observed.

Dynamical chiral symmetry breaking in the NJL model with a constant external magnetic field

In this paper we develop a new method that is different from Schwinger proper time method to deduce the fermion propagator with a constant external magnetic field. In the NJL model, we use this method to find out the gap equation at zero and non-zero temperature, and give the numerical results and phase diagram between magnetic field and temperature. Beside these, we also introduce current mass to study the susceptibilities, because there is a new parameter (the strength of external magnetic field) in this problem, corresponding this new parameter, we have defined a new susceptibility $χ_B$ to compare with the other two susceptibilities $χ_c$ (chiral susceptibility) and $χ_T$ (thermal susceptibility), and all of the three susceptibilities show than when current mass is not zero, the phase transition is a crossover, while for comparison, in the chiral limit, the susceptibilities show a second order phase transition. At last, we give out the critical coefficients of different susceptibilities in the chiral limit.
