Radiative decay of fully-heavy tetraquark into quarkonium

We present a comprehensive study of the radiative decays of fully heavy tetraquarks ($T_{4c}$, $T_{4b}$) and mixed heavy-flavor tetraquarks ($T_{bc\bar{b}\bar{c}}$) into charmonium/bottomonium states, within the nonrelativistic QCD factorization framework. Numerical result indicates that the decay widths of fully charm tetraquark $T_{4c}$ into $\gamma J/\psi (\eta_c)$ are around 1 MeV. Crucially, the $\gamma J/\psi$ signal channel receives less experimental background near the $J/\psi J/\psi$ threshold, providing a compelling way to search for the possible tetraquark states X(6200). For $T_{4b}$, the decay width is highly suppressed by the bottom quark mass, just lying in tens eV level. We further find that the decay widths of $T_{bc\bar{b} \bar{c}} \to \gamma \Upsilon$ exceed those to $\gamma J/\psi$ by 3-4 orders of magnitude, indicating preferential $c\bar{c}$-pair annihilation over $b\bar{b}$. These radiative decay modes can be measured in the future experiments, and are helpful to understand the inner structure of the full heavy tetraquark.

Text2GraphQuery-Bench: A Text to Graph Query Benchmark

Graph models are fundamental to data analysis in domains rich with complex relationships. Unlike SQL, which benefits from a rel- atively unified standard and widespread familiarity, graph query languages are diverse (e.g., Cypher, GQL, SQL/PGQ) and far less fa- miliar to most users, making them significantly harder to learn and use. Text-to-Graph-Query systems address this barrier by trans- lating natural language into executable graph queries, enabling LLMs to serve as interfaces for Graph Database Management Systems (GDBMS). Existing benchmarks are limited in language coverage, rely on rigid synthesis, and lack comprehensive evaluation. We present Text2GraphQuery-Bench, the first benchmark covering all mainstream declarative property graph query languages (Cypher, GQL, and SQL/PGQ). It contains 267,276 (Question, Graph Query) pairs across 34 databases and 13 domains. Its construction supports adaptation from heterogeneous resources and domain-aware synthesis, while its Graph-IR-based design enables rapid extension to new languages. The evaluation protocol reports Grammar, GLEU, Similarity, and EX under graph-native difficulty, question abstraction, and schema aliasing. Experiments on 8 LLMs reveal: (i) a significant language gap exists - zero-shot GQL and SQL/PGQ Grammar is far below Cypher, yet few-shot prompting largely recovers it; (ii) fine-tuning an 8B model reaches or exceeds zero-shot large models, indicating unfamiliarity - rather than model capacity - is the primary barrier; (iii) as supervision increases, syntax errors recede, shifting bottlenecks to aggregation logic in GQL and schema linking in SQL/PGQ; (iv) higher question abstraction degrades EX due to intent-to-schema grounding issues, while schema aliasing has minimal impact; (v) EX consistently degrades from Easy to Extra Hard, with Extra Hard remaining a persistent bottleneck. *(Due to arXiv constraints, this abstract is shortened. Perturbative EFT calculation of the deuteron longitudinal response function

In this work, we study the longitudinal response function of the deuteron up to next-to-next-to-leading order in chiral effective field theory (Chiral EFT). We use an approach that maintains exact renormalization group (RG) invariance at each order of the EFT expansion by treating all subleading corrections in perturbation theory. To that end, we extent the Lorentz Integral Transform (LIT) method to allow for such a perturbative treatment. In doing so, we further develop the existing work on strictly RG invariant Chiral EFT, which has so far focused primarily on binding energies and static properties, to inelastic processes. We carefully analyze the convergence properties of the theory and find good agreement with available experimental data. Our findings provide the foundation for similar studies of inelastic processes in a range of nuclei, based on perturbatively renormalized EFT schemes.

Nuclear structure study with two- and three-nucleon contact interactions derived within low-energy EFT

We present the results of the application of a nuclear potential consisting of two- and three-nucleon contact interactions in nuclear structure investigations. The nuclear Hamiltonian has been derived for a very low-energy regime within the framework of the effective field theory, its low-energy constants have been fitted to a few low-energy nucleon-nucleon experimental observables and the deuteron and 3H binding energies. Our goal is to validate the ability of this Hamiltonian to reproduce some important features of open-shell nuclei, and to this end we derive effective shell-model Hamiltonians for nuclei in the p- and sd-shell mass regions. The results of shell-model calculations with these effective Hamiltonians are then compared with experiment, and also with those obtained with a nuclear Hamiltonian derived within chiral perturbation theory, that includes also terms with one- and two-pion exchanges.

Simplification of chiral nuclear forces near the unitarity limit

Modern theory approaches for describing atomic nuclei often make use of on an effective theory that constructs the interaction between nucleons systematically based on Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), exploiting constraints arising from the approximate chiral symmetry of QCD. The tensor nuclear force produced by one-pion exchange is an important feature that arises naturally in this framework. In this work we show that, however, the tensor force is suppressed by the large nucleon-nucleon scattering lengths in combination with the smallness of the pion mass. Based on this observation, we propose a new scheme for a chiral nuclear force that is able to describe $NN$ phase shifts up to the center-of-mass momenta $k \simeq 300$ MeV while treating pion exchange as a perturbation. Our much simplified leading-order force provides a microscopic explanation for the recent success of various short-range nuclear forces from the perspective of chiral effective field theory, and it shares with those approaches an approximate Wigner SU(4) symmetry, as well as the closeness to the unitarity limit (infinite nucleon-nucleon scattering lengths), as guiding principles. Compared to previous approaches to perturbative-pion interactions, our force also adjusts the ordering of short-range contact interactions, by means of which we overcome convergence problems of the expansion that were previously assumed to severely limit its usefulness. We demonstrate the performance of our approach with numerical calculations of $NN$ scattering up to fourth order, in addition to studies of $3N$ and $4N$ bound-state properties.

Enhancement of deltaful two-pion exchange nuclear forces

The role of the delta isobar degrees of freedom in nucleon-nucleon scattering is revisited. We attempt to understand why the dimensionally regularized two-pion exchanges with the explicit delta isobar is much stronger than the ones with spectral function regularization. When the cutoff value of spectral function regularization is varied, the isoscalar central component exhibits a rather large cutoff variation. This reveals a surprisingly large numerical factor of the deltaful two-pion exchange potentials. The power counting is adjusted accordingly and we discuss the results and how to improve upon this finding.

Effective field theory with resonant P-wave interaction

A new effective field theory has been developed to describe shallow $P$-wave resonances using nonlocal, momentum-dependent two-body potentials. This approach is expected to facilitate many-body calculations and has been demonstrated to converge and to be renormalizable in perturbative calculations at subleading orders. The theory has been applied to the neutron-alpha system, with good agreement found between its predictions and a phase-shift analysis of neutron-alpha elastic scattering. In the three-body system consisting of two neutrons and an alpha particle, the nonlocal potential in this framework has been found to recover the same qualitative features as previously shown with energy-dependent formulations.

Renormalization of proton-proton fusion in chiral effective field theory

Renormalization of proton-proton fusion is studied in the framework of chiral effective field theory. Strict perturbative treatment of subleading corrections is applied in the analysis. Possible enhancement of two-nucleon contact axial current operators is the focus of the study. We find evidence that supports a previous proposal in the literature to promote one of the contact axial current operators.

Perturbative Calculations of Deuteron Form Factors

We calculate the deuteron charge, electric quadrupole, and magnetic form factors up to next-to-next-to-leading order in chiral effective field theory, treating subleading corrections, especially that of chiral nuclear forces, in perturbation theory. We examine the power counting based on naive dimensional analysis by investigating the ultraviolet cutoff variation of these form factors. We find that the N${}^2$LO magnetic form factor shows significant cutoff dependence, suggesting the contact current operator responsible be enhanced. After promotion to N${}^2$LO, it indeed renormalizes the magnetic form factor. This is in agreement with a previous work based on renormalization-group analysis. For the charge and quadrupole moments, perturbative calculation allows us to study how they scale with multiple low-energy parameters such as the pion mass, deuteron binding momentum, and momentum transfer.

Constructing chiral effective field theory around unnatural leading-order interactions

A momentum-dependent formulation based on a stationary spin-0 and isospin-1 dibaryon field is proposed to improve convergence of chiral effective field theory in the $\cs{1}{0}$ channel of $NN$ scattering. Although the two-parameter leading-order interaction appears to be unnatural, it nevertheless has the necessary features of an effective field theory. A rapid order-by-order convergence is found in $\cs{1}{0}$. As an application beyond the two-body level, the triton binding energy is studied and compared to standard chiral effective field theory with partly perturbative pions. The consistency of the chiral Lagrangian for the new formulation is examined by working out the pionic radiative corrections, and consequences of nontrivial chiral-connection terms are discussed.

Trapped two-nucleon system in energy-dependent effective field theory

We discuss how to connect the energy levels of two-particle systems trapped by a harmonic-oscillator force to scattering amplitudes, with nucleon-nucleon scattering phase shifts in uncoupled channels as the application. At the center of the proposed framework is the energy-dependent effective field theory that aims to expand observables in a neighborhood around each reference energy, often taken to be one of the energy levels. We also investigate how to disentangle the trapping force at short distances and the intrinsic interaction between the particles.

Perturbative chiral nucleon-nucleon potential for the $^3P_0$ partial wave

We study perturbativeness of chiral nuclear forces in the $^3P_0$ channel. In previous works, the focus has been on one-pion exchange, and the applicable window of perturbative pion exchanges has been shown to span from threshold to the center-of-mass momentum $k \simeq$ 180 MeV. We will examine, instead, whether cancellation of short and long-range parts can sufficiently soften the $^3P_0$ chiral force to make it more amenable to perturbation theory. The result is encouraging, as the combined $^3P_0$ force is shown to be perturbative up to $k \simeq$ 280 MeV, covering many nuclear-structure calculations.

Triangle diagram in heavy-baryon chiral perturbation theory

The pion-baryon triangle diagram is inspected for a special kinematic region where the squared momentum transfer $t$ is close to $4m_π^2$: $|t - 4m_π^2| \lesssim m_π^4/m_N^2$. Instead of arguing on the ground of anomalous threshold, we investigate possible impacts on power counting. The pion can have very small energies, as opposed to $\sim m_π$ in the physical region, which allows all three propagators to be extremely near their mass shell and contributes significantly to the loop integral. We find that in this narrow kinematic window the static-limit approximation for the baryon propagator is invalid and the resummation of the kinetic energy is necessary. Interestingly, in contrast to low-energy two-baryon processes, this resummation of baryon recoils does not lead to overall enhancement of power counting of the diagram.

Two bosons in a narrowly resonant trap

It is rare for an $S$-wave resonance to remain narrow while approaching threshold as a result of the interaction parameters being fine tuned. Such an interaction is, however, realized by pion-charmed baryon system $πΣ_c$, which has a narrow resonance $Λ_c^+(2595)$ located a few MeVs above its threshold. We study the consequence of narrowly resonant inter-species interaction in a three-body system composed of two identical light bosons and an extremely heavy particle. We concern ourselves in the present paper with resonances of the three-body system, as opposed to bound states. The focus is on the technical aspects of constructing the integral equation for three-body amplitudes and of analytically continuing the integral equation to locate the "trimer" resonance pole in the unphysical sheet of the center-of-mass energy plane.
