Quantum speed limit time for topological qubit influenced by fermionic and bosonic environment

Quantum theory sets a limit on the minimum time required to transform from an initial state to a target state. It is known as quantum speed limit time. quantum speed limit time can be used to determine the rate of quantum evolution for closed and open quantum systems. Given that in the real world we are dealing with open quantum systems, the study of quantum speed limit time for such systems has particular importance. In this work we consider the topological qubit realized by two Majorana modes. We consider the case in which the topological qubit is influenced by fermionic and bosonic environment. Fermionic and bosonic environments are assumed to have Ohmic-like spectral density. The quantum speed limit time is investigated for various environment with different Ohmic parameter. It is observed that for super-Ohmic environment with increasing Ohmic parameter the quantum speed limit time gradually reaches to a constant value and thus the speed of evolution reaches to a uniform value. The effects of external magnetic field on the evolution rate are also studied. It is observed that with increasing magnitude of magnetic field, the quantum speed limit time decreases

Entropic uncertainty relation in Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger dilation black hole

Heisenberg's uncertainty principle is a fundamental element in quantum mechanics. It sets a bound on our ability to predict the measurement outcomes of two incompatible observables simultaneously. In quantum information theory, the uncertainty principle can be expressed using entropic measures. The entropic uncertainty relation can be improved by considering an additional particle as a memory particle. The presence of quantum correlation between the memory particle and the measured particle reduces the uncertainty. In a curved space-time, the presence of the Hawking radiation can reduce quantum correlation. Therefore, concerning the relationship between the quantum correlation and entropic uncertainty lower bound, we expect that the Hawking radiation increases the entropic uncertainty lower bound. In this work, we investigate the entropic uncertainty relation in Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger (GHS) dilation black hole. We consider a model in which the memory particle is located near the event horizon outside the black hole, while the measured particle is free falling. To study the proposed model, we will consider examples with Dirac fields. We also explore the effect of the Hawking radiation on the quantum secret key rate.

Entropic uncertainty lower bound for a two-qubit system coupled to a spin chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction

The uncertainty principle is one of the key concepts in quantum theory. This principle states that it is not possible to measure two incompatible observables simultaneously and accurately. In quantum information theory, the uncertainty principle is formulated using the concept of entropy. In this work we consider the entropic uncertainty relation in the presence of quantum memory. We study the dynamics of entropic uncertainty bound for a two-qubit quantum system coupled to a spin chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and we investigate the effect of environmental parameters on the entropic uncertainty bound. Notably, our results reveal that there exist some environmental parameters which can be changed to suppress the entropic uncertainty bound.

Quantum teleportation, entanglement, and Bell nonlocality in Unruh channel

Decoherence is an unavoidable phenomenon that results from the interaction of the system with its surroundings. The study of decoherence due to the relativistic effects has the fundamental importance. The Unruh effect is observed by the relativistically accelerator observer. The unruh effect acts as a quantum channel and we call it the Unruh Channel. The Unruh channel can be characterize by providing its Kraus representation. We consider the bipartite scheme in which the quantum information is shared between an inertial observer (Alice) and an accelerated observer (Rob) in the case of Dirac field. We will show that this channel reduces the common quantum information between the two observers. In this work we will study the effects of the Unruh channel on various facets of quantum correlations, such as the quantum teleportation, entanglement, and Bell inequality violations for a Dirac field mode.

Quantum correlations and quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relation in a quantum dot system

The uncertainty principle is one of the comprehensive and fundamental concept in quantum theory. This principle states that it is not possible to simultaneously measure two incompatible observatories with high accuracy. Uncertainty principle has been formulated in various form. The most famous type of uncertainty relation is expressed based on the standard deviation of observables. In quantum information theory the uncertainty principle can be formulated using Shannon and von Neumann entropy. Entropic uncertainty relation in the presence of quantum memory is one of the most useful entropic uncertainty relations. Due to their importance and scalability, solid state systems have received considerable attention nowadays. In this work we will consider a quantum dot system as a solid state system. We will study the quantum correlation and quantum memory assisted entropic uncertainty in this typ of system. We will show that the temperature in of quantum dot system can affect the quantum correlation and entropic uncertainty bound. It will be observed that the entropic uncertainty bound decreases with decreasing temperature and quantum correlations decreases with increasing the temperature.

Local quantum Fisher information and local quantum uncertainty in two qubit Heisenberg XYZ chain with Dzyaloshinskii Moriya interactions

In this work we will study the Local quantum Fisher information and the local quantum uncertainty in two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ spin chain model with Dzyaloshinskii Moriya (DM) interaction in z direction. Here we show that the DM interaction and spin interactions along the x, y, and z axis can increase and maintain local quantum Fisher information and local quantum uncertainty. It is also shown that because of thermal fluctuations local quantum Fisher information and local quantum uncertainty are decreased by increasing temperature. They are equal to one at very low temperature and starts to decay only after a thershold temperature.
