Content Delivery Through Hybrid Architecture in Video on Demand System

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network needs architectural modification for smooth and fast transportation of video content. The viewer imports chunk video objects through the proxy server. The enormous growth of user requests in a small session of time creates huge load on the VOD system. The situation requires either the proxy server streamed video-content fully or partly to the viewers. The missing chunk at the proxy server is imported from the connected peer nodes. Peers exchange chunks among themselves according to some chunk selection policy. Peer node randomly contacts another peer to download a missing chunk from the buffers during each time slot. In video streaming, when the relevant frame is required at the viewer ends that should be available at the respective proxy server. The video watcher also initiates various types of interactive operations like a move forward or skips some finite number of frames that create congestion inside the VOD system. To elevate the situation it needs an effective content delivery mechanism for smooth transportation of content. The proposed hybrid architecture is composed of P2P and mesh architecture that effectively enhances the search mechanism and content transportation in the VOD system.

Traffic Analysis for Storage Finding in Video on Demand System

The literature survey typically predicated sharp growth for IP-based video traffic i.e., 30% or more annually. For the Internet TV in mobile networks, video traffic growth rate is expected to rise 80% or more. These high growth rates of video traffic will account for a large portion of the bandwidth. The performance of video-on-demand system during real-time data streaming greatly depends on the session oriented data-storage finding in the mass scale distributed storage architecture. At the storage end, data is broken up into manageable chunks of data packets, which could be smoothly, deliver over the Internet. The objective of this study was to present the necessity of traffic control and traffic analysis methodology in the video on demand system to minimize the hop count for finding exact media storage to retrieve video chunk data.

SpliceCombo: A Hybrid Technique efficiently use for Principal Component Analysis of Splice Site Prediction

The primary step in search of the gene prediction is an identification of the coding region from genomic DNA sequence. Gene structure in the case of a eukaryotic organism is composed of promoter, intron, start codon, exons, stop codon, etc. Splice site prediction, which separates the junction between exon and intron, though the sequence beside. The splice sites have huge preservation, however, the precision of the tool exhibits less than 90%. The main objective of this work to exhibits a hybrid technique that efficiently improves the existing gene recognition technique. Therefore to enhance the identification of splice sites, the respective algorithm needs to be improved. Over the last decade, the researcher paid more attention to improve the accuracy of a predicted model in this domain. Our proposed method, SpliceCombo involves three stages. At initial stage, which considers the principal Component Analysis, based on the feature extracted. In the intermediate stage, i.e.,, the second stage Case- Based Reasoning is done, i.e., feature selection. The third stage uses support vector machine based along with polynomial kernel function for final classification. In comparison with other methods, the proposed SpliceCombo model outperforms other prediction models with respect to prediction accuracies. Particularly for donor splice site the methodology exhibits sensitivity is 97.25% accurate and specificity is 97.46% accurate. For acceptor Splice Site the sensitivity is 96.51% and Specificity is 94.48% correct.

Traffic Analysis and Control at Proxy Server

Bandwidth optimization for real-time video traffic transmission through the proxy server is a challenging issue for the next- generation network. The self - control of the traffic rate at the proxy server is based on the relative data present in the proxy server or to import the require data from the remote data center node. The smoothness of traffic transmission is highly depended on the self -configuration in the cache memory at the proxy server by used of optimized page replacement procedure. The web proxy cache memory is finite in size. The system performance is highly depended upon the self- optimization of the traffic rate at the proxy server. This paper presents the effect of zipf- distribution parameters to the outbound request and the effect of the parameters to measure the bandwidth requirement for the desire video file. This paper presents some of the relevant results for bandwidth optimization and the effect of traffic control during active transmission for various sizes of video file through the proxy server.

Approximation of Bandwidth for the Interactive Operation in Video on Demand System

An interactive session of video-on-demand (VOD) streaming procedure deserves smooth data transportation for the viewer, irrespective of their geographic location. To access the required video, bandwidth management during the video objects transportation at any interactive session is a mandatory prerequisite. It has been observed in the domain likes movie on demand, electronic encyclopedia, interactive games, and educational resources. The required data is imported from the distributed storage servers through the high speed backbone network. This paper presents the viewer driven session based multi-user model with respect to the overlay mesh network. In virtue of reality, the direct implication of this work elaborately shows the required bandwidth is a causal part in the video on demand system. The analytic model of session based single viewer bandwidth requirement model presents the bandwidth requirement for any interactive session like, pause, move slow, rewind, skip some number of frames, or move fast with some constant number of frames. This work presents the bandwidth requirement model for any interactive session that brings the trade-off in data-transportation and storage costs for different system resources and also for the various system configurations.

i Vector used in Speaker Identification by Dimension Compactness

The automatic speaker identification procedure is used to extract features that help to identify the components of the acoustic signal by discarding all the other stuff like background noise, emotion, hesitation, etc. The acoustic signal is generated by a human that is filtered by the shape of the vocal tract, including tongue, teeth, etc. The shape of the vocal tract determines and produced, what signal comes out in real time. The analytically develops shape of the vocal tract, which exhibits envelop for the short time power spectrum. The ASR needs efficient way of extracting features from the acoustic signal that is used effectively to makes the shape of the individual vocal tract. To identify any acoustic signal in the large collection of acoustic signal i.e. corpora, it needs dimension compactness of total variability space by using the GMM mean super vector. This work presents the efficient way to implement dimension compactness in total variability space and using cosine distance scoring to predict a fast output score for small size utterance.

Speaker Identification by GMM based i Vector

Speaker Identification process is to identify a particular vocal cord from a set of existing speakers. In the speaker identification processes, unknown speaker voice sample targets each of the existing speakers present in the system and gives a predication. The predication may be more than one existing known speaker voice and is very close to the unknown speaker voice. The model is a Gaussian mixture model built by the extracted acoustic feature vectors from voice. The i-vector based dimension compression mapping function of the channel depended speaker, and super vector give better predicted scores according to cosine distance scoring associated with the order pair of speakers. In the order pair, the first coordinate is the unknown speaker i.e. test speaker, and the second coordinates is the existing known speaker i.e. target speaker. This paper presents the enhancement of the prediction based on i- vector in compare to the normalized set of predicted score. In the simulation, known speaker voices are collected through different channels and in different languages. In the testing, the GMM voice models, and GMM based i-Vector speaker voice models of the known speakers are used among the numbers of clusters in the test data set.

APS Implementation Over Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks

The real world scenario has changed from the wired connection to wireless connection.Over the years software, development has responded to the increasing growth of wireless connectivity in developing network enabled software. The problem arises in the wireless domain due to random packet loss in transport layer and as well as in data link layer for the end to end connection. The basic problem has been considered in this work is to convert the real world scenario of Vehicular ad hoc network into a lab oriented problem by used the APS-system and study the result to achieve better performance in the wireless domain. The real world physical problems map into analytical problem and simulate that analytic problem with respect to real world scenario by Automated Position System (APS) for antenna mounted over the mobile node in 2 Dimension space. Here the methodology quantifies the performance and the impact of the packet loss, delay, by the bit error rate and throughput with respect to the real- world scenario of VANET in the MAC layer, data link layer and transport layer. The result presents the Directional Antenna which is mounted over the vehicle gives less bit error in comparison to Isotropic and Discone antenna.

Performance Improvement of VOD System by Policy Based Traffic Handle

The distributed system use to enhance the performance of all types of multimedia service in the next generation network. The packet loss occurs in the video on demand system due to delay and huge traffic load from the both sides of client request and server response. It's bring a real challenge to the researcher how to minimize the traffic load in the video on demand system to provide better utilization of the available bandwidth in the very race situation. The normal client server type architecture can't solve the huge client requirement. In this work, I have used number of remote servers that partly shears the total load in the video on demand system on behalf of the total system load. This work presents the scenario of controlling the traffic load in the localization wise sub domain that gives good impact to control the traffic in the whole distributed system. The user increased rapidly in the network it posed heavy load to the video servers. The requested clients, servers are all distributed in nature and the data stream delivered according to client request. In this work presents the performance of the video on demand server by policy based traffic handle, at real time with respect to incoming multi rate traffic pattern.

Efficient Packet Forwarding in Mesh Network

Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is a multi hop low cost, with easy maintenance robust network providing reliable service coverage. WMNs consist of mesh routers and mesh clients. In this architecture, while static mesh routers form the wireless backbone, mesh clients access the network through mesh routers as well as directly meshing with each other. Different from traditional wireless networks, WMN is dynamically self-organized and self-configured. In other words, the nodes in the mesh network automatically establish and maintain network connectivity. Over the years researchers have worked, to reduce the redundancy in broadcasting packet in the mesh network in the wireless domain for providing reliable service coverage, the source node deserves to broadcast or flood the control packets. The redundant control packet consumes the bandwidth of the wireless medium and significantly reduces the average throughput and consequently reduces the overall system performance. In this paper I study the optimization problem in Wireless Mesh Networks. We have proposed a novel approach to reduce the broadcast redundant packet in the wireless mesh network. Also we have shown, a novel procedure to forward the control packet to the destination nodes and efficiently minimize the transmitted control packet in the wireless mesh cloud, that covers the domain.

Analysis and implementation of the Large Scale Video-on-Demand System

Next Generation Network (NGN) provides multimedia services over broadband based networks, which supports high definition TV (HDTV), and DVD quality video-on-demand content. The video services are thus seen as merging mainly three areas such as computing, communication, and broadcasting. It has numerous advantages and more exploration for the large-scale deployment of video-on-demand system is still needed. This is due to its economic and design constraints. It's need significant initial investments for full service provision. This paper presents different estimation for the different topologies and it require efficient planning for a VOD system network. The methodology investigates the network bandwidth requirements of a VOD system based on centralized servers, and distributed local proxies. Network traffic models are developed to evaluate the VOD system's operational bandwidth requirements for these two network architectures. This paper present an efficient estimation of the of the bandwidth requirement for the different architectures.

Performance of Modeling wireless networks in realistic environment

A wireless network is realized by mobile devices which communicate over radio channels. Since, experiments of real life problem with real devices are very difficult, simulation is used very often. Among many other important properties that have to be defined for simulative experiments, the mobility model and the radio propagation model have to be selected carefully. Both have strong impact on the performance of mobile wireless networks, e.g., the performance of routing protocols varies with these models. There are many mobility and radio propagation models proposed in literature. Each of them was developed with different objectives and is not suited for every physical scenario. The radio propagation models used in common wireless network simulators, in general researcher consider simple radio propagation models and neglect obstacles in the propagation environment. In this paper, we study the performance of wireless networks simulation by consider different Radio propagation models with considering obstacles in the propagation environment. In this paper we analyzed the performance of wireless networks by OPNET Modeler .In this paper we quantify the parameters such as throughput, packet received attenuation.

Enhancement of Image Resolution by Binarization

Image segmentation is one of the principal approaches of image processing. The choice of the most appropriate Binarization algorithm for each case proved to be a very interesting procedure itself. In this paper, we have done the comparison study between the various algorithms based on Binarization algorithms and propose a methodologies for the validation of Binarization algorithms. In this work we have developed two novel algorithms to determine threshold values for the pixels value of the gray scale image. The performance estimation of the algorithm utilizes test images with, the evaluation metrics for Binarization of textual and synthetic images. We have achieved better resolution of the image by using the Binarization method of optimum thresholding techniques.

Performance Measurement of the Heterogeneous Network

Till today we dreamt of imperceptible delay in a network. The computer science research grows today faster than ever offering more and more services (computational representational, graphical, intelligent implication etc) to its user. But the problem lies in "greater the volume of services greater the problem of delay". So tracing delay, or performance analysis focusing on time required for computation, in a existing or newly configured network is necessary to conclude the improvement. In this paper, we have done the job of delay analysis in a multi-server system,. For this proposed work we have used continuous -parameter Markov chains (Non -Birth -Death Process),for developing the required models, and for developing the simulator we have used queuing networking, different scheduling algorithms at the servers queue and process scheduling . The work can be further extended to test the performance of wireless domain.
