Stability Analysis of Equivariant Convolutional Representations Through The Lens of Equivariant Multi-layered CKNs

In this paper we construct and theoretically analyse group equivariant convolutional kernel networks (CKNs) which are useful in understanding the geometry of (equivariant) CNNs through the lens of reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (RKHSs). We then proceed to study the stability analysis of such equiv-CKNs under the action of diffeomorphism and draw a connection with equiv-CNNs, where the goal is to analyse the geometry of inductive biases of equiv-CNNs through the lens of reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (RKHSs). Traditional deep learning architectures, including CNNs, trained with sophisticated optimization algorithms is vulnerable to perturbations, including `adversarial examples'. Understanding the RKHS norm of such models through CKNs is useful in designing the appropriate architecture and can be useful in designing robust equivariant representation learning models.

Constructing a free resolution and remarks on bar homology of Temperley-Lieb algebra $TL_3$

In this paper I try to construct the Anick's resolution for the Temperley-Lieb algebra $TL_3$ and bar homology $Tor_\ast^{TL_3}(\mathbb{C},\mathbb{C})$ and shows that how $τ\in \mathbb{C}$ given in the definition of $TL_3$ is actively involved in the differentials both in free resolution and bar homology. It suggests that the bar homology depends on the nature of $τ$.

Gröbner Bases: Connecting Linear Algebra with Homological and Homotopical Algebra

The main objective of this paper is to connect the theory of $Gröbner$ bases to concepts of homological algebra. $Gröbner$ bases, an important tool in algebraic system and in linear algebra help us to understand the structure of an algebra presented by its generators and relations by constructing a basis of its set of relations. In this paper we mainly deal with graded augmented algebras. Given a graded augmented algebra with its generators and relations, it is possible to construct a free resolution from its $Gröbner$ basis, known as Anick's resolution. Though rarely minimal, this resolution helps us to understand combinatorial properties of the algebra. The notion of a $K_2$ algebra was recently introduced by Cassidy and Shelton as a generalization of the notion of a Koszul algebra. We compute the Anick's resolution of $K_2$ algebra which shows several nice combinatorial properties. Later we compute some derived functors from Anick's resolution and outline how to construct $A_\infty$-algebra structure on $Ext$-algebra from a minimal graded projective resolution in which we can use Anick's resolution as a tool. Thus this paper provides an unique platform to connect concepts of linear algebra with homological algebra and homotopical algebra with the help of $Gröbner$ bases.

A case study of Gröbner bases and Hilbert series

In this expository style of writing I will give an introduction of Gröbner bases and compute it for some algebras and then show how to use it to compute Hilbert series for algebras from chains.
