On the simultaneous $3$-divisibility of class numbers of triples of imaginary quadratic fields

Let $k \geq 1$ be a cube-free integer with $k \equiv 1 \pmod {9}$ and $\gcd(k, 7\cdot 571)=1$. In this paper, we prove the existence of infinitely many triples of imaginary quadratic fields $\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{d})$, $\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{d+1})$ and $\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{d+k^2})$ with $d \in \mathbb{Z}$ such that the class number of each of them is divisible by $3$. This affirmatively answers a weaker version of a conjecture of Iizuka \cite{iizuka-jnt}.

Biquadratic fields having a non-principal euclidean ideal class

H. W. Lenstra \cite{lenstra} introduced the notion of an Euclidean ideal class, which is a generalization of norm-Euclidean ideals in number fields. Later, families of number fields of small degree were obtained with an Euclidean ideal class (for instance, in \cite{hester1} and \cite{cathy}). In this paper, we construct certain new families of biquadratic number fields having a non-principal Euclidean ideal class and this extends the previously known families given by H. Graves \cite{hester1} and C. Hsu \cite{cathy}.

A note on Euclidean cyclic cubic fields

Let $K$ be a cyclic cubic field and $\mathcal{O}_K$ be its ring of integers. In this note we prove that all cyclic cubic number fields with conductors in the interval $ [73, 11971]$ and with class number one are Euclidean.

Non-Wieferich primes in number fields and ABC conjecture

Let $K/\mathbb{Q}$ be an algebraic number field of class number one and $\mathcal{O}_K$ be its ring of integers. We show that there are infinitely many non-Wieferich primes with respect to certain units in $\mathcal{O}_K$ under the assumption of the \textit{abc} conjecture for number fields.
