Note on the sums of powers of consecutive $q$-integers

In this paper we construct the $q$-analogue of Barnes's Bernoulli numbers and polynomials of degree 2, for positive even integers, which is an answer to a part of Schlosser's question. For positive odd integers, Schlosser's question is still open. Finally, we will treat the $q$-analogue of the sums of powers of consecutive integers.

A note on the sums of powers of consecutive q-integers

In this paper we construct the q-analogue of Barnes' Bernoulli numbers and plynomials of degree 2, which is an answer to a part of Schlosser's question. Finally, we treat the q-analogue of the sums of powers of consecutive integrs.

$q$-Bernoulli Numbers and Polynomials Associated with Multiple $q$-Zeta Functions and Basic $L$-series

By using $q$-Volkenborn integration and uniform differentiable on $\mathbb{Z}%_{p}$, we construct $p$-adic $q$-zeta functions. These functions interpolate the $q$-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. The value of $p$-adic $q$-zeta functions at negative integers are given explicitly. We also define new generating functions of $q$-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. By using these functions, we prove analytic continuation of some basic (or $q$-) $L$% -series. These generating functions also interpolate Barnes' type Changhee $% q $-Bernoulli numbers with attached to Dirichlet character as well. By applying Mellin transformation, we obtain relations between Barnes' type $q$% -zeta function and new Barnes' type Changhee $q$-Bernolli numbers. Furthermore, we construct the Dirichlet type Changhee (or $q$-) $L$% -functions.

Change of quasiparticle dispersion in crossing T_c in the underdoped cuprates

One of the most remarkable properties of the high-temperature superconductors is a pseudogap regime appearing in the underdoped cuprates above the superconducting transition temperature T_c. The pseudogap continously develops out of the superconducting gap. In this paper, we demonstrate by means of a detailed comparison between theory and experiment that the characteristic change of quasiparticle dispersion in crossing T_c in the underdoped cuprates can be understood as being due to phase fluctuations of the superconducting order parameter. In particular, we show that within a phase fluctuation model the characteristic back-turning BCS bands disappear above T_c whereas the gap remains open. Furthermore, the pseudogap rather has a U-shape instead of the characteristic V-shape of a d_{x^2-y^2}-wave pairing symmetry and starts closing from the nodal k=(pi/2,pi/2) directions, whereas it rather fills in at the anti-nodal k=(pi,0) regions, yielding further support to the phase fluctuation scenario.
