One loop effects of natural SUSY in indirect searches for SUSY particles at the ILC

We have found the possible region of parameters of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) within the bounds from the experimental results of the Higgs mass, the rare decay mode of $b$-quark, the muon $g-2$, the dark matter abundance, and the direct searches for the lighter stop (i.e., one of the supersymmetric partners of top quark) at the LHC. We present numerical results of calculations for the one loop effects of supersymmetric particles in the processes of $τ^+ τ^-$, $b \overline{b}$, $t \overline{t}$, and $Z h$ production at the ILC by using benchmark points within the possible region of the MSSM parameters.

Pair-production and Three-body Decay of the Lighter Stop at the ILC in One-loop Order in the MSSM

We have been developing a program package called GRACE/SUSY-loop which automatically calculates the MSSM amplitudes in one-loop order. We present numerical results of calculations for pair-production and three-body decay of the lighter stop ($\widetilde{t}_1$) at the International Linear Collider (ILC) using GRACE/SUSY-loop. Since the distributions of missing transverse energy (MET) depend on mass spectrum of SUSY particles, we consider two scenarios on three-body decay of $\widetilde{t}_1$. In these scenarios, both QCD and EW corrections have positive sign for decay widths and cross sections.

Present Status of GRACE/SUSY-loop

GRACE/SUSY-loop is a program package for the automatic calculation of the MSSM amplitudes in one-loop order. We present features of GRACE/SUSY-loop, processes calculated using GRACE/SUSY-loop and an extension of the non-linear gauge formalism applied to GRACE/SUSY-loop.

Systematic study of 1-loop correction on sparticle decay widths using GRACE/SUSY-loop

The 1-loop corrected decay widths of sparticles (charginos, neutralinos, gluino and sfermions) in the framework of the MSSM are calculated systematically using GRACE/SUSY-loop, which is the program package for the automatic calculation of the MSSM amplitudes in the 1-loop order. We present the renormalization scheme used in our system and show some numerical results of decay widths of sfermions and gluino using the SPS1a' parameter set and other SUSY parameter sets.

Automatic one-loop calculation of MSSM processes with GRACE

We have developed the system for the automatic computation of cross-sections, {\tt GRACE/SUSY}, including the one-loop calculations for processes of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the the standard model. For an application, we investigate the process $e^+ e^- \to Z^0 h^0$ .

Automatic Computation of Cross Sections in HEP

For the study of reactions in High Energy Physics (HEP) automatic computation systems have been developed and are widely used nowadays. GRACE is one of such systems and it has achieved much success in analyzing experimental data. Since we deal with the cross section whose value can be given by calculating hundreds of Feynman diagrams, we manage the large scale calculation, so that effective symbolic manipulation, the treat of singularity in the numerical integration are required. The talk will describe the software design of GRACE system and computational techniques in the GRACE.

Summary of the SUSY Working Group of the 1999 Les Houches Workshop

The results obtained by the Working Group on Supersymmetry at the 1999 Les Houches Workshop on Collider Physics are summarized. Separate chapters treat "general" supersymmetry, R-parity violation, gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking, and anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking.

Z radiation off stops at a linear collider

We calculate e+e- --> stop/stop/Z at a linear collider. For large splitting between the two stops the cross-section is sensitive to the value of m(stop2) when this particle is too heavy to be directly produced. The results are compared to e+e- --> stop/stop/h.

Impact of bosonic decays on the search for stau_2 and tau-sneutrino

We perform a detailed study of the decays of the heavier tau slepton (stau_2) and tau-sneutrino (snu_tau) in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). We show that the decays into Higgs or gauge bosons, i.e. stau_2 -> stau_1 + (h^0, H^0, A^0 or Z^0), stau_2 -> snu_tau + (H^- or W^-), and snu_tau -> stau_1 + (H^+ or W^+), can be very important due to the sizable tau Yukawa coupling and large mixing parameters of stau. Compared to the decays into fermions, such as stau_2 -> tau + neutralino_i and stau_2 -> nu_tau + chargino_j^-, these bosonic decay modes can have significantly different decay distributions. This could have an important influence on the search for stau_2 and snu_tau and the determination of the MSSM parameters at future colliders.

Spin and spin-spin correlations in chargino pair production at future linear e+e- colliders

A possibility to measure the spin and spin-spin correlations of a chargino pair is investigated in the process electron positron -> chargino_1 anti-chargino_1 -> (neutralino_1 quark anti-quark) (neutralino_1 quark anti-quark) at future linear-collider energies. The total and the differential cross sections are calculated by the GRACE system which allows for the full spin correlation. Experimental sensitivity of the measurements are examined by assuming the limited detector resolution, the initial state radiation and the beam-beam effect (beamstrahlung). It is found that generally the spin-spin correlation can only be measured with a lower sensitivity than the chargino spin itself. The dependence of the correlation measurements on the relevant SUSY parameters can be seen for a light sneutrino case, but the situation becomes worse for a heavier sneutrino.

Associated stop Higgs Production at the Linear Collider and Extraction of the stop Parameters

We calculate stop stop Higgs production at the linear collider. Combining the measurements from the pair production of the lightest stop and that of the mass of the Higgs we show how, in a scenario where only the lightest stop and the lightest Higgs were accessible, one could extract the mass of the heavier stop and infer some useful information on the SUSY parameters.

Bosonic decays of stop_2 and sbottom_2

We perform a detailed study of the decays of the heavier top and bottom squarks (stop_2 and sbottom_2) in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). We show that the decays into Higgs or gauge bosons can be dominant in a wide range of the model parameters due to the large Yukawa couplings and mixings of stops and sbottoms. Compared to the conventional decays into fermions these bosonic decay modes can have significantly different decay structures and distributions. This could have an important impact on the search for stop_2 and sbottom_2 and the determination of the MSSM parameters at future colliders.

SUSY--QCD Corrections to Higgs Particle Decays into Quarks and Squarks

We study the decays of the Higgs bosons $H^{\pm}$, $H^0$, and $A^0$ within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. For decays into quarks and squarks we include the supersymmetric QCD radiative corrections. We find that the corrections are significant and can go up to 50%. The supersymmetric decay modes $H^+ \to \tilde t \bar{\tilde b}$ and $H^0 (A^0) \to \tilde t \bar{\tilde t}$ can be dominant in a wide range of the model parameters due to the large Yukawa couplings and mixings of $\tilde t$ and $\tilde b$.

susy23 v2.0: an Event Generator for Supersymmetric Processes at $e^+e^-$ Colliders

\susy23 is a Monte-Carlo package for generating supersymmetric (SUSY) processes at $e^+e^-$ colliders. Twenty-three types of SUSY processes with 2 or 3 final state particles at tree level are included in version 2.0. {\susy23} addresses event simulation requirements at $e^+e^-$ colliders such as LEP. Matrix elements are generated by GRACE with the helicity amplitude method for processes involving massive fermions. The phase space integration of the matrix element gives the total and differential cross sections, then unweighted events are generated. Sparticle widths and decay branching ratios are calculated. Each final state particle may then decay according to these probabilities. Spin correlations are taken into account in the decays of sparticles. Corrections of initial state radiation (ISR) are implemented in two ways, one is based on the electron structure function formalism and the second uses the parton shower algorithm called QEDPS. Parton shower and hadronization of the final quarks are performed through an interface to JETSET.

Higgs Particle Decays in Supersymmetry

We present a detailed study of the decays of the Higgs bosons $H^+$, $H^0$, and $A^0$ within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model including SUSY--QCD corrections. We find that the supersymmetric modes $\tilde t \bar{\tilde b}$ ($\tilde t \bar{\tilde t}$, and for large $\tanβ$ $\tilde b \bar{\tilde b}$) can dominate the $H^+$ ($H^0$, $A^0$) decays in a wide range of the model parameters due to the large Yukawa couplings and mixings of $\tilde t$ and $\tilde b$. Compared to the conventional modes $H^+ \to τ^+ ν_τ, t \bar b$, and $H^0, A^0 \to t \bar t, b \bar b$, the supersymmetric modes can have an important impact on the Higgs boson searches at future colliders.

Possible Excess in Charged Current Events with High-Q^2 at HERA from Stop and Sbottom Production

We investigate a production process $e^+p \to \st X \to \sb W^+ X$ at HERA, where we consider a decay mode $\sb \to \barν_e d$ of the sbottom in the framework of an R-parity breaking supersymmetric standard model. Both processes of the stop production $e^+ d \to \st$ and the sbottom decay $\sb \to \barν_e d$ are originated from an R-parity breaking superpotential $λ'_{131} \hat{L}_1 \hat{Q}_3 \hat{D^c}_1$. One of signatures of the process should be a large missing transverse momentum plus multijet events corresponding to hadronic decays of the $W$. It is shown that the signal could appear as an event excess in the charged current (CC) processes $e^+p \to νX$ with the high $Q^2$ at HERA. We compare expected event distributions with the CC data recently reported by the H1 and ZEUS groups at HERA. Methods for extracting the signal from the standard CC processes are also discussed.

Stops in R-parity Breaking Model for High-$Q^2$ Events at HERA

We investigate an event excess in the reaction $e^+p \to e^+ X$ with large $x$ and high $Q^2$ observed at HERA and show that the events could naturally be interpreted as a signature of the production of the scalar top quarks (stops) in a supersymmetric model with $R$-parity breaking interactions. The HERA events are characterized by the broad mass distribution and in fact it can be simulated by our specific scenario if we consider almost degenerate two mass eigenstates $\tilde{t_1}$ and $\tilde{t_2}$ of the stops.
