Radiative (phi -> f_0(980) gamma) decay in light cone QCD sum rules

The light cone QCD sum rules method is used to calculate the transition form factor for the radiative (phi -> f_0 gamma) decay, assuming that the quark content of the (f_0) meson is pure (bar{s}s) state. The branching ratio is estimated to be Br(phi -> f_0 gamma) = 3.5 x (1 pm 0.3) x 10^(-4). A comparison of our prediction on branching ratio with the theoretical results and experimental data existing in literature is presented.

The (Sigma_Q-Lambda_Q) transition magnetic moments in light cone QCD sum rules

Using the general form of (Sigma_Q) and (Lambda_Q) (Q=b or c) currents, (Sigma_Q-Lambda_Q) transition magnetic moments are calculated in framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. In this approach nonperturbative effects are described by the photon wave functions and only two-particle photon wave functions are taken into account. Our predictions on transition magnetic moments are (mu_{Sigma_c Lambda_c} = - (1.5 pm 0.4) mu_N) and (mu_{Sigma_b Lambda_b} = - (1.6 pm 0.4) mu_N). A comparison of our results with the ones existing in the literature is given.

Rare (B -> l^+ l^- gamma) decay and new physics effects

Using the most general, model independent form of the effective Hamiltonian rare decays (B -> l^+ l^- gamma (l=mu, tau)) are studied. The sensitivity of the photon energy distribution and branching ratio to the new Wilson coefficients is investigated.

Exclusive B -> K^* l^+ l^- decay with polarized K^* and new physics effects

Using the most general, model independent effective Hamiltonian, the branching ratio of the (B -> K^* l^+ l^-) decay, when K^* meson is longitudinally or transversally polarized, is presented. The dependence of the branching ratio on the new Wilson coefficients, when K^* meson is polarized, is studied. It is observed that the branching ratio is very sensitive to the vector and tensor type interactions, which will be useful in search of new physics beyond the Standard Model.

General analysis of time evolution of decay spectrum in B^0 -> pi^+ pi^- l^+ l^-

Using the general, model independent form of effective Hamiltonian, the decay spectrum of B^0 -> pi^+ pi^- l^+ l^- decay is studied. The sensitivity of experimentally measurable asymmetries to the new Wilson coefficients and time is studied. It is observed that different asymmetries are sensitive to the new Wilson coefficients and they can serve as an efficient tool for establishing new physics beyond SM.
