Analytic holonomicity of real C$^{\mathrm{exp}}$-class distributions

We introduce a notion of distributions on $\mathbb{R}^n$, called distributions of C$^{\mathrm{exp}}$-class, based on wavelet transforms of distributions and the theory from Cluckers, Comte, Miller, Rolin, Servi (2018) about C$^{\mathrm{exp}}$-class functions. We prove that the framework of C$^{\mathrm{exp}}$-class distributions is closed under natural operations, like push-forward, pull-back, derivation and anti-derivation, and, in the tempered case, Fourier transforms. Our main result is the (real analytic) holonomicity of all distributions of C$^{\mathrm{exp}}$-class.

Decay of Fourier transforms and analytic continuation of power-constructible functions

For a subfield K of C, we denote by C^K the category of algebras of functions defined on the globally subanalytic sets that are generated by all K-powers and logarithms of positively-valued globally subanalytic functions. For any function f in C^\K(R), we study links between holomorphic extensions of f and the decay of its Fourier transform F[f] by using tameness properties of the globally subanalytic functions from which f is constructed. We first prove a number of theorems about analytic continuation of functions in C^K, including the fact that f in C^K(R) extends meromorphically to C if and only if f is rational. We then characterize the exponential rate of decay of F[f] by the maximal width of a horizontal strip in the plane about the real axis to which f extends holomorphically. Finally, we show that F[f] is integrable if f is integrable and continuous.

Mellin transforms of power-constructible functions

We consider several systems of algebras of real- and complex-valued functions, which appear in o-minimal geometry and related geometrically tame contexts. For each such system, we prove its stability under parametric integration and we study the asymptotics of the functions as well as the nature of their parametric Mellin transforms.

Transasymptotic expansions of o-minimal germs

Given an o-minimal expansion $\mathbb{R}_{\mathcal{A}}$ of the real ordered field, generated by a generalized quasianalytic class $\mathcal{A}$, we construct an explicit truncation closed ordered differential field embedding of the Hardy field of the expansion $\mathbb{R}_{\mathcal{A},\exp}$ of $\mathbb{R}_{\mathcal{A}}$ by the unrestricted exponential function, into the field $\mathbb{T}$ of transseries. We use this to prove some non-definability results. In particular, we show that the restriction to the positive half-line of Euler's Gamma function is not definable in the structure $\mathbb{R}_{\text{an}^{*},\exp}$, generated by all convergent generalized power series and the exponential function, thus establishing the non-interdefinability of the restrictions to a neighbourhood of $+\infty$ of Euler's Gamma and of the Riemann Zeta function.

Parametric Fourier and Mellin transforms of power-constructible functions

We enrich the class of power-constructible functions, introduced in [CCRS23], to a class of algebras of functions which contains all complex powers of subanalytic functions, their parametric Mellin and Fourier transforms, and which is stable under parametric integration. By describing a set of generators of a special prepared form we deduce information on the asymptotics and on the loci of integrability of the functions of the class. We furthermore identify a subclass which is the smallest class containing all power-constructible functions and stable under parametric Fourier transforms and right-composition with subanalytic maps. This subclass is also stable under parametric integration, under taking pointwise and $L^p$limits, and under parametric Fourier-Plancherel transforms. Finally, we give a full asymptotic expansion in the power-logarithmic scale, uniformly in the parameters, for functions in this subclass.

Multisummability for generalized power series

We develop multisummability, in the positive real direction, for generalized power series with natural support, and we prove o-minimality of the expansion of the real field by all multisums of these series. This resulting structure expands both $\mathbb{R}_{\mathcal{G}}$ and the reduct of $\mathbb{R}_{\mathrm{an}^*}$ generated by all convergent generalized power series with natural support; in particular, its expansion by the exponential function defines both the Gamma function on $(0,\infty)$ and the Zeta function on $(1,\infty)$.

Linearization of complex hyperbolic Dulac germs

We prove that a hyperbolic Dulac germ with complex coefficients in its expansion is linearizable on a standard quadratic domain and that the linearizing coordinate is again a complex Dulac germ. The proof uses results about normal forms of hyperbolic transseries from another work of the authors.

Normal forms of hyperbolic logarithmic transseries

We find the normal forms of hyperbolic logarithmic transseries with respect to parabolic logarithmic normalizing changes of variables. We provide a necessary and sufficient condition on such transseries for the normal form to be linear. The normalizing transformations are obtained via fixed point theorems, and are given algorithmically, as limits of Picard sequences in appropriate topologies.

On local definability of holomorphic functions

Given a collection A of holomorphic functions, we consider how to describe all the holomorphic functions locally definable from A. The notion of local definability of holomorphic functions was introduced by Wilkie, who gave a complete description of all functions locally definable from A in the neighbourhood of a generic point. We prove that this description is no longer complete in the neighbourhood of non-generic points. More precisely, we produce three examples of holomorphic functions which suggest that at least three new operations need to be added to Wilkie's description in order to capture local definability in its entirety. The constructions illustrate the interaction between resolution of singularities and definability in the o-minimal setting.

Integration of Oscillatory and Subanalytic Functions

We prove the stability under integration and under Fourier transform of a concrete class of functions containing all globally subanalytic functions and their complex exponentials. This paper extends the investigation started in [J.-M. Lion, J.-P. Rolin: "Volumes, feuilles de Rolle de feuilletages analytiques et théorème de Wilkie" Ann. Fac. Sci. Toulouse Math. (6) 7 (1998), no. 1, 93-112] and [R. Cluckers, D. J. Miller: "Stability under integration of sums of products of real globally subanalytic functions and their logarithms" Duke Math. J. 156 (2011), no. 2, 311-348] to an enriched framework including oscillatory functions. It provides a new example of fruitful interaction between analysis and singularity theory.

Multivariable Newton-Puiseux Theorem for Generalised Quasianalytic Classes

We show how to solve explicitly an equation satisfied by a real function belonging to certain general quasianalytic classes. Examples of the classes under consideration are the collection of convergent generalised power series, a class of functions which contains some Dulac Transition Maps of real analytic planar vector fields, quasianalytic Denjoy-Carleman classes and the collection of multisummable series.

Local interdefinability of Weierstrass elliptic functions

We explain which Weierstrass elliptic functions are locally definable from other elliptic functions and exponentiation in the context of o-minimal structures. The proofs make use of the predimension method from model theory to exploit functional transcendence theorems in a systematic way.

Definably complete and Baire structures and Pfaffian closure

We consider definably complete and Baire expansions of ordered fields: every definable subset of the domain of the structure has a supremum and the domain can not be written as the union of a definable increasing family of nowhere dense sets. Every expansion of the real field is definably complete and Baire. So is every o-minimal expansion of a field. However, unlike the o-minimal case, the structures considered form an elementary class. In this context we prove a version of Kuratowski-Ulam's Theorem and some restricted version of Sard's Lemma. We use the above results to prove the following version of Wilkie's Theorem of the Complement: given a definably complete Baire expansion K of an ordered field with a family of smooth functions, if there are uniform bounds on the number of definably connected components of quantifier free definable sets, then K is o-minimal. We further generalize the above result, along the line of Speissegger's theorem, and prove the o-minimality of the relative Pfaffian closure of an o-minimal structure inside a definably complete Baire structure.
