A Descriptive Perspective on Devaney's Chaos and Some Results on Topologically Conjugate Systems

In this study, Devaney's chaos conditions are revisited within the framework of descriptive proximity. The concepts of descriptive transitivity, the density of descriptive periodic objects, and descriptive sensitivity are defined. The most notable finding of the study is that Banks Theorem, which establishes the hierarchy among these conditions in classical topology, does not generally hold in the descriptive perspective, and some of the concepts above remain invariant under topological conjugacy certain conditions.

Approximately Prime Rings and Prime Ideals

This article focuses on approximately prime rings and approximately prime ideals in proximal relator spaces, especially in descriptive proximity spaces. In particular, we define some binary operations, including the product of two approximately prime ideals and the direct product of approximately prime rings, and study the approximately principle prime ideals. Moreover, we introduce some fundamental properties of these approximately algebraic structures.

Indefinite Descriptive Proximities Inherent in Dynamical Systems. An Axiomatic Approach

This paper introduces indefinite proximities inherent in the collection of physical objects found in a dynamical system. Axiomatically, these indefinite proximities lead to a new form of Hausdorff topology, which is indefinite descriptively. The main results in this paper are (1) Every descriptive proximity space on a dynamical system is indefinite (Theorem 1), (2) Every dynamical system has an indefinite descriptive Hausdorff topology (Theorem 3), and (3) The energy of a dynamical system varies with every clock tick (Theorem 4). An application of these results is given in terms of the detection of those portions of a dynamical system that are stable and that have low energy dissipation.

Connectedness, Continuity, and Proximities in Temporal Digital Topology

This paper introduces the structure and axioms for a temporal digital topology (TDT) with the focus on digital connectedness, continuity and proximities in TDT spaces. Results are given for temporal digital adjacencies, connectedness and proximities that occur in time-constrained digital topological spaces. The application for this work is a proximity space view of elapsed times present in every sequence of video frames.

Fixed Point Property of Amenable Planar Vortexes

This article introduces free group representations of planar vortexes in a CW space that are a natural outcome of results for amenable groups and fixed points found by M.M. Day during the 1960s and a fundamental result for fixed points given by L.E.J. Brouwer.

Contiguity Distance between Simplicial Maps

We study properties of contiguity distance between simplicial maps. In particular, we show that simplicial versions of $LS$-category and topological complexity are particular cases of this more general notion.

Topological spaces induced by homotopic distance

Homotopic distance $\D$ as introduced in \cite{MVML} can be realized as a pseudometric on $\mathrm{Map}(X,Y)$. In this paper, we study the topology induced by the pseudometric $\D$. In particular, we consider the space $\mathrm{Map}(S^1,S^1)$ and show that homotopic distance between any two maps in this space is 1. Moreover, while a general proof of the non-compactness of the space $\mathrm{Map}(X,Y)$ is still an open problem, it can be shown that $\mathrm{Map}(S^1,S^1)$ is not compact.

Descriptive Fixed Set Properties for Ribbon Complexes

This article introduces descriptive fixed sets and their properties in descriptive proximity spaces viewed in the context of planar ribbon complexes. These fixed sets are a byproduct of descriptive proximally continuous maps that spawn fixed subsets, eventual fixed subsets and almost fixed subsets of the maps. For descriptive continuous map $f$ on a descriptive proximity space $X$, a subset $A$ of $X$ is fixed, provided the description of $f(A)$ matches the desription of $A$. In terms ribbon complexes in a CW space, an Abelian group representation of a ribbon is Day-amenable and each amenable ribbon has a fixed point. A main result in this paper is that if $h$ is a proximal descriptive conjugacy between maps $f,g$, then if $A$ is an [ordinary, eventual, almost] descriptively fixed subset of $f$, then $h(A)$ is a descriptively fixed subset of $g$.

Higher Homotopic Distance

The concept of homotopic distance and its higher analog are introduced in [6]. In this paper we introduce some important properties of higher homotopic distance, investigate the conditions under which $\cat$, $\secat$ and higher dimensional topological complexity are equal to the higher homotopic distance, and give alternative proofs, using higher homotopic distance, to some $\TC_n$-related theorems.

Topological spaces of persistence modules and their properties

Persistence modules are a central algebraic object arising in topological data analysis. The notion of interleaving provides a natural way to measure distances between persistence modules. We consider various classes of persistence modules, including many of those that have been previously studied, and describe the relationships between them. In the cases where these classes are sets, interleaving distance induces a topology. We undertake a systematic study the resulting topological spaces and their basic topological properties.
