Graph neural networks at war: integrating cybersecurity and drone intelligence in the Israeli-Iranian conflict

Physical cyber systems have brought about new threats and challenges in detection and immediate response. This study examines how Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) can be used to aid cybersecurity and drone management in a physical cyber system comprising of cyber intrusions and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). By providing a bridge between structural understanding of graphical neural networks, this work has provided an integrated procedure that allows intrusion detection systems to educate on underlying network structures, identify malicious activity, and facilitates drone response measures. Based on an emulation-based case study, cyberattacks models were created to provoke the responses of the drones, which proved that graph-based learning can assist with the situational awareness, swarm coordination, and adaptive maneuver. According to the performance valuation, this method has a detection rate of 94.2, average area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) of 0.955 and an average response time of 1.4 seconds. Comparative experiments reveal that proposed GraphSAGE network is more effective than the Graphical Convolutional Networks (GCNs) and Graphical Attention Networks (GATs) in the identical situation. Such findings prove that graphical neural networks can be used to avert intrusion and response of dynamic cyber-physical systems.

Elevating Information System Performance: A Deep Dive into Quality Metrics

In today's digital age, information systems (IS) are indispensable tools for organizations of all sizes. The quality of these systems, encompassing system, information, and service dimensions, significantly impacts organizational performance. This study investigates the intricate relationships between these three quality dimensions and their collective influence on key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. By conducting a comparative analysis of various quality metrics, we aim to identify the most effective indicators for assessing IS quality. Our research contributes to the field by providing actionable insights for researchers or practitioners to develop the implementation, evaluation and design of information systems. Also, a quantitative study employing a structured questionnaire survey was conducted to achieve primary data from respondents across various sectors. Statistical analysis, including Cronbach's Alpha (0.953) and factor analysis (KMO = 0.965, Bartlett's Test p < 0.000), revealed strong interdependencies among System Quality (SQ), Information Quality (IQ), and Service Quality (SerQ). The results demonstrate that high SQ leads to improved IQ, which in turn contributes to enhanced SerQ and user satisfaction. While all three qualities are crucial, SerQ emerges as the most relevant indicator of overall system performance due to its broader representation of quality dimensions

A Comprehensive Study on Automated Testing with the Software Lifecycle

The software development lifecycle depends heavily on the testing process, which is an essential part of finding issues and reviewing the quality of software. Software testing can be done in two ways: manually and automatically. With an emphasis on its primary function within the software lifecycle, the relevance of testing in general, and the advantages that come with it, this article aims to give a thorough review of automated testing. Finding time- and cost-effective methods for software testing. The research examines how automated testing makes it easier to evaluate software quality, how it saves time as compared to manual testing, and how it differs from each of them in terms of benefits and drawbacks. The process of testing software applications is simplified, customized to certain testing situations, and can be successfully carried out by using automated testing tools.

Effective Delegation and Leadership in Software Management

Delegation and leadership are critical components of software management, as they play a crucial role in determining the success of the software development process. This study examined the relationship between delegation and leadership in software management and the impact of these factors on project outcomes. Results showed that effective delegation and transformational leadership styles can improve workflow, enhance team motivation and productivity, and ultimately lead to successful software development projects. The findings of this study have important implications for software management practices, as they suggest that organizations and software managers should prioritize the development of effective delegation and leadership practices to ensure the success of their software development initiatives. Further research is needed to explore the complex interplay between delegation and leadership in software management and to identify best practices for improving these processes.

The Fifteen Puzzle- A New Approach through Hybridizing Three Heuristics Methods

Fifteen Puzzle problem is one of the most classical problems that have captivated mathematical enthusiasts for centuries. This is mainly because of the huge size of the state space with approximately 1013 states that have to be explored and several algorithms have been applied to solve the Fifteen Puzzle instances. In this paper, to deal with this large state space, Bidirectional A* (BA*) search algorithm with three heuristics, such as Manhattan distance (MD), linear conflict (LC), and walking distance (WD) has been used to solve the Fifteen Puzzle problems. The three mentioned heuristics will be hybridized in a way that can dramatically reduce the number of generated states by the algorithm. Moreover, all those heuristics require only 25KB of storage but help the algorithm effectively reduce the number of generated states and expand fewer nodes. Our implementation of BA* search can significantly reduce the space complexity, and guarantee either optimal or near-optimal solutions.1
