Combined CDF and D0 Search for Standard Model Higgs Boson Production with up to 10.0 fb-1 of Data

We combine results from CDF and D0 on direct searches for the standard model (SM) Higgs boson (H) in ppbar collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV. Compared to the previous Tevatron Higgs boson search combination more data have been added, additional channels have been incorporated, and some previously used channels have been reanalyzed to gain sensitivity. With up to 10 fb-1 of luminosity analyzed, the 95% C.L. median expected upper limits on Higgs boson production are factors of 0.94, 1.10, and 0.49 times the values of the SM cross section for Higgs bosons of mass m_H=115 GeV/c^2, 125 GeV/c^2,and 165 GeV/c^2, respectively. We exclude, at the 95% C.L., two regions: 100 bbbar and H->W+W-, and find that the excess is concentrated in the H->bbbar channel, although the results in the H->W+W- channel are also consistent with the possible presence of a low-mass Higgs boson.

Combined CDF and D0 measurement of WZ and ZZ production in final states with b-tagged jets

We present a combined measurement of the production cross section of VZ (V=W or Z) events in final states containing charged leptons (electrons or muons) or neutrinos, and heavy flavor jets, using data collected by the CDF and D0 detectors at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The analyzed samples of ppbar collisions at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV correspond to integrated luminosities of 7.5 - 9.5 fb-1. Assuming the ratio of the production cross sections sigma(WZ) and sigma(ZZ) as predicted by the standard model, we measure the sum of the WZ and ZZ cross sections to be 4.47 +- 0.64 (stat) +0.73 -0.72 (syst) pb. This is consistent with the standard model prediction and corresponds to a significance of 4.6 standard deviations above the background-only hypothesis.

Combined CDF and D0 Upper Limits on Standard Model Higgs-Boson Production with up to 2.4 fb-1 of data

We combine results from CDF and D0 searches for a standard model Higgs boson in ppbar collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV. With 1.0-2.4 fb-1 of data collected at CDF, and 1.1-2.3 fb-1 at D0, the 95 % C.L. upper limits on Higgs boson production are a factor of 3.7 (1.1) higher than the SM cross section for a Higgs boson mass of m_{H}=115 (160) GeV. Based on simulation, the median expected upper limit should be 3.3 (1.6). Standard Model branching ratios, calculated as functions of the Higgs boson mass, are assumed. Compared to the previous Higgs Tevatron combination, more data and new channels (H -> gamma gamma, and $H -> tau tau produced in several modes) have been added. Existing channels, such as both experiments' ZH -> nu nu b b channels, have been reanalyzed to gain sensitivity. These results extend significantly the individual limits of each experiment.
