$\mathrm {U}_{q\tilde q}\mathfrak{sl}(2;\mathbb R)$ Turaev-Viro invariants for cusped $3$-manifolds

We define a family of Turaev-Viro type invariants for hyperbolic $3$-manifolds with cusp ends, extending the invariants introduced in \cite{LMSWY} for hyperbolic $3$-manifolds with totally geodesic boundary. These invariants are constructed from what we call the ideal $\mathrm{U}_{q\tilde q}\mathfrak{sl}(2;\mathbb R)$-$6j$ symbols, which are variants of the $6j$-symbols associated with the positive representations of the modular double of $\mathrm{U}_q\mathfrak{sl}(2;\mathbb R)$. We also prove that these invariants decay exponentially, with the exponential decay rate determined by the hyperbolic volume of the manifold.

Enhancing Fitness Intelligence through Domain-Specific LLM Post-Training

Scientific Fitness Coaching (SFC) is typically delivered by human professionals, making it costly and inaccessible to many. While recent advances in Large Language Models (LLMs) show considerable promise for more inclusive fitness coaching, directly deploying prevailing general-purpose LLMs in SFC reveals critical limitations. These models often lack sufficient domain-specific knowledge integration, leading to weak performance on complex SFC scenarios. In this paper, we introduce FitOne, a series of fitness LLMs (with 8B and 32B parameters) designed to improve reliability and domain specialization for SFC applications. Built upon the Qwen3 foundation models, FitOne is developed through a three-stage post-training pipeline consisting of continual pre-training, supervised fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning, using large-scale, high-quality datasets derived from rigorous knowledge engineering. We conduct comprehensive evaluations of FitOne on professional fitness certification exams, including ACSM-EP and NSCA-CSCS, as well as general capabilities such as knowledge reasoning and instruction following. Experimental results show that, while retaining strong general capabilities, FitOne-8B/32B achieves average improvements of up to 10.09%/9.29% and 12.73%/7.01% on the ACSM-EP and NSCA-CSCS exams, respectively, compared with the Qwen3 base models. Furthermore, in-depth ablation studies confirm the necessity of each training stage, highlighting the pipeline's effectiveness in balancing domain expertise enhancement with general ability retention. We believe this research advances LLM systems toward more reliable fitness intelligence and will inspire future research on developing domain-specific LLMs.

Asymptotics of complex $b$-$6j$ symbols

We study the $b$-$6j$ symbols -- an analytic extension of the $6j$-symbols for the principal series of the modular double of $\mathrm U_q\mathfrak{sl}(2;\mathbb R)$ -- with complex index $b,$ refereed to as the \emph{complex $b$-$6j$ symbols}. Then we relate their asymptotics, when the six parameters scale according to the dihedral angles of a hyperideal hyperbolic tetrahedron, to the volume and the determinant of the Gram matrix of the tetrahedron. In the case $\arg b=\pm \frac{\pi}{4},$ we believe that this work is closely related to the complex Liouville string\,\cite{CEMR}.

Scale over Preference: The Impact of AI-Generated Content on Online Content Ecology

The rapid proliferation of Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content (AIGC) is fundamentally restructuring online content ecologies, necessitating a rigorous examination of its behavioral and distributional implications. Leveraging a comprehensive longitudinal dataset comprising tens of millions of users from a leading Chinese video-sharing platform, this study elucidated the distinct creation and consumption behaviors characterizing AIGC versus Human-Generated Content (HGC). We identified a prevalent scale-over-preference dynamic, wherein AIGC creators achieve aggregate engagement comparable to HGC creators through high-volume production, despite a marked consumer preference for HGC. Deeper analysis uncovered the ability of the algorithmic content distribution mechanism in moderating these competing interests regarding AIGC. These findings advocated for the implementation of AIGC-sensitive distribution algorithms and precise governance frameworks to ensure the long-term health of the online content platforms.

Asymptotics of $b$-$6j$ symbols and anti-de Sitter tetrahedra

In this paper, we study the asymptotics of the $6j$-symbols for the principal series of the modular double of $\mathrm U_q\mathfrak{sl}(2;\mathbb R)$, and of their analytic extension -- what we call the $b$-$6j$ symbols, relating them in various cases to the volume of truncated hyperideal tetrahedra in the hyperbolic and the anti-de Sitter geometry. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that the anti-de Sitter geometry appears in the asymptotics of quantum invariants. In addition, based on the connection to conformal field theory, we reveal a correspondence between the edge lengths and the dihedral angles of truncated hyperideal anti-de Sitter tetrahedra and the Fenchel-Nielsen coordinates of hyperbolic four-holed spheres. We also provide a concrete instance of $3D/2D$ holography, in the spirit of the AdS/CFT correspondence.

SPP-MIM hybridization meta-film: a biosensing structure uniting the merits of SPR and LSPR

Having a flat device-solution interface is crucial for nanophotonic biosensors to achieve stable and reproducible performance, by mitigating solid-liquid-gas interfacial processes at the nanometer scale. In this aspect, the metal-insulator-metal (MIM) film presents a capable solution, by hybridizing surface plasmon polaritons (SPP) and MIM gap plasmons, which is enabled by the latter's unique dispersion characteristic and wide tunability. In this meta-film, the SPPs propagate along a flat interface, and seal the gap plasmons which can be integrated with nanostructures, e.g., a coupling grating. In addition, by tuning the gap plasmons, the SPP-MIM hybridization meta-film can be designed to achieve a significantly reduced SPP evanescent depth and a significantly improved surface sensitivity. Using gold as the plasmonic material, such improvements are theoretically predicted across a broad spectral range, from visible to near infrared. Particularly, at 1550 nm, we show that a grating-coupled meta-film device is designed to have its evanescent depth shortened from 1.4 micrometers to 0.16 micrometers, with an enhancement factor of 5.6 in its surface sensitivity, as compared with traditional grating-coupled SPR. This unique characteristic of the SPP-MIM meta-film makes it an efficient combination of propagating SPR and LSPR, by simultaneously having a flat and simple biosensing interface, a short evanescent depth and a high surface sensitivity. It provides an inspiring approach for transforming various LSPR designs into stable biosensors.

Turaev-Viro invariant from the modular double of $\mathrm {U}_{q}\mathfrak{sl}(2;\mathbb R)$

We define a family of Turaev-Viro type invariants of hyperbolic $3$-manifolds with totally geodesic boundary from the $6j$-symbols of the modular double of $\mathrm U_{q}\mathfrak{sl}(2;\mathbb R)$, and prove that these invariants decay exponentially with the rate the hyperbolic volume of the manifolds and with the $1$-loop term the adjoint twisted Reidemeister torsion of the double of the manifolds.

Connected components of the space of type-preserving representations

We complete the characterization of the connected components of the space of type-preserving representations of a punctured surface group into $\mathrm{PSL}(2,\mathbb{R})$. We show that the connected components are indexed by the relative Euler classes and the signs of the images of the peripheral elements satisfying a generalized Milnor-Wood inequality; and when the surface is a punctured sphere, there are additional connected components consisting of ``totally non-hyperbolic" representations. As a consequence, we count the total number of the connected components of the space of type-preserving representations.

WSCoach: Wearable Real-time Auditory Feedback for Reducing Unwanted Words in Daily Communication

The rise of wearable smart devices raises unprecedented opportunities for self-improvement through ubiquitous behavior tracking and guidance. However, the design of effective wearable behavior intervention systems remains relatively unexplored. To address this gap, we conducted controlled studies focusing on the reduction of unwanted words (e.g., filler words, swear words) in daily communication through auditory feedback using wearable technology. We started with a design space exploration, considering various factors such as the type, duration, and timing of the auditory feedback. Then, we conducted pilot studies to reduce the space of design choices and prototyped a system called WSCoach (Wearable Speech Coach), which informs users when they utter unwanted words in near-real-time. To evaluate WSCoach, we compared it with a state-of-the-art mobile application supporting post-hoc conversation analysis. Both approaches were effective in reducing the occurrence of unwanted words, but WSCoach appears to be more effective in the long run. Finally, we discuss guidelines for the design of wearable audio-based behavior monitoring and intervention systems and highlight the potential of wearable technology for facilitating behavior correction and improvement. Bullet shooting cloud-cloud collision in MIR bubble N65

We report that the formation of the twin-bubble system N65 and N65bis may be caused by the cloud-cloud collision (CCC) from the Bullet Nebula. The blue-shifted $^{13}$CO gas component (N65a [47, 55] km s$^{-1}$) is associated with the twin-bubble system, while the red-shifted $^{13}$CO gas component (N65b [55, 62] km s$^{-1}$) is linked to the Bullet Nebula. The distinct signatures of CCC, such as the bridge feature, the U-shape cavity and the complementary distribution with displacement, are found between N65a and N65b. The collision timescale is estimated to be 1.15 to 2.0 Myr, which is consistent with the dynamical ages of the two \HII regions in N65a (0.73 Myr for N65bis and 1.19 Myr for N65, respectively), indicating their CCC-related origin. A total of 354 young stellar objects (YSOs) are founded, which are clustered into eight MST (Minimum Spinning Tree) groups. The distribution of M1 (at the post-frontal edge) and M2, M3, M4 (at the pre-frontal edge) suggests that the CCC triggers star formation along the collision path of $b=0^{\circ}.35$, with younger YSOs present at the pre-frontal edge. Therefore, the bipolar morphology of the twin-bubble system can be interpreted by the collision of N65a and N65b along $b=0^{\circ}.35$ about 2 Myr ago.

Flexible Perovskite/Silicon Monolithic Tandem Solar Cells Approaching 30% Efficiency

Thanks to their excellent properties of low cost, lightweight, portability, and conformity, flexible perovskite-based tandem solar cells show great potentials for energy harvesting applications, with flexible perovskite/c-silicon tandem solar cells particularly promising for achieving high efficiency. However, performance of flexible perovskite/c-silicon monolithic tandem solar cells still greatly lags, due to challenges in simultaneously achieving both efficient photocarrier transport and reliable mitigation of residual stress. Here, we reveal the critical role of perovskite phase homogeneity, for achieving high-efficient and mechanical-stable flexible perovskite/c-silicon heterojunction monolithic tandem solar cells (PSTs) with textured surface. Through ensuring high phase homogeneity, which promotes charge transfer across all facets of the pyramid on the textured substrates and releases the residual stress at the perovskite/c-silicon interface, we demonstrate flexible PSTs with a bending curvature of 0.44 cm-1, and a certified power conversion efficiency of 29.88% (1.04 cm2 aperture area), surpassing all other types of flexible perovskite-based photovoltaic devices. Our results can lead to broad applications and commercialization of flexible perovskite/c-silicon tandem photovoltaics.

Distributions and Physical Properties of Molecular Clouds in the G24 Region of the Milky Way

We report the spatial distribution and physical characteristics of molecular clouds in the G24 region, which is located near the intersection of the Milky Way's Galactic bar with the Norma arm and the 3 kpc arm. Utilizing molecular line data from the Milky Way Imaging Scroll Painting (MWISP) project, including $^{12}$CO, $^{13}$CO, and C$^{18}$O, along with our own observations of HCO$^{+}$ line using the Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO) 13.7 m telescope, we have revealed the complex architecture of molecular clouds in the G24 region. Seven giant molecular clouds, each with a mass exceeding $10^4$ $M_\odot$ and a typical H$_2$ column density of $10^{21}$ cm$^{-2}$, have been identified through observations of CO and its isotopes. The conversion factor $X_{\text{CO}}$ for the G24 region is estimated to be 8.25 $\times$ 10$^{19}$ cm$^{-2}$ (K km s$^{-1}$)$^{-1}$, aligning with the typical values observed in other regions. Adopting the GaussClumps algorithm, we have identified a total of 257, 201, and 110 clumps in $^{12}$CO, $^{13}$CO and C$^{18}$O within G24 region, respectively. The derived physical properties (including effective radius, mass, and virial parameter) indicate that the majority of these clumps are gravitationally bound, with a subset possessing the potential to form massive stars. Examination of gas infall activities within these clumps further suggests ongoing massive star formation. The complex physical and kinematic environment, shaped by the G24 region's unique location within the Milky Way, has limited the clear detection of gas outflows.

EDA-Q: Electronic Design Automation for Superconducting Quantum Chip

Electronic Design Automation (EDA) plays a crucial role in classical chip design and significantly influences the development of quantum chip design. However, traditional EDA tools cannot be directly applied to quantum chip design due to vast differences compared to the classical realm. Several EDA products tailored for quantum chip design currently exist, yet they only cover partial stages of the quantum chip design process instead of offering a fully comprehensive solution. Additionally, they often encounter issues such as limited automation, steep learning curves, challenges in integrating with actual fabrication processes, and difficulties in expanding functionality. To address these issues, we developed a full-stack EDA tool specifically for quantum chip design, called EDA-Q. The design workflow incorporates functionalities present in existing quantum EDA tools while supplementing critical design stages such as device mapping and fabrication process mapping, which users expect. EDA-Q utilizes a unique architecture to achieve exceptional scalability and flexibility. The integrated design mode guarantees algorithm compatibility with different chip components, while employing a specialized interactive processing mode to offer users a straightforward and adaptable command interface. Application examples demonstrate that EDA-Q significantly reduces chip design cycles, enhances automation levels, and decreases the time required for manual intervention. Multiple rounds of testing on the designed chip have validated the effectiveness of EDA-Q in practical applications.

Ghost states underlying spatial and temporal patterns: how non-existing invariant solutions control nonlinear dynamics

Close to a saddle-node bifurcation, when two invariant solutions collide and disappear, the behavior of a dynamical system can closely resemble that of a solution which is no longer present at the chosen parameter value. For bifurcating equilibria in low-dimensional ODEs, the influence of such 'ghosts' on the temporal behavior of the system, namely delayed transitions, has been studied previously. We consider spatio-temporal PDEs and characterize the phenomenon of ghosts by defining representative state-space structures, which we term 'ghost states,' as minima of appropriately chosen cost functions. Using recently developed variational methods, we can compute and parametrically continue ghost states of equilibria, periodic orbits, and other invariant solutions. We demonstrate the relevance of ghost states to the observed dynamics in various nonlinear systems including chaotic maps, the Lorenz ODE system, the spatio-temporally chaotic Kuramoto-Sivashinsky PDE, the buckling of an elastic arc, and 3D Rayleigh-B\'enard convection.

A Flat Plasmonic Biosensing Interface on Optical Fiber End-Facet via SPP-MIM Hybridization

We found that the specific dispersion of metal-insulator-metal (MIM) waveguide allows the hybridization of surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) and the waveguide, which is not possible with dielectric waveguides. The SPP-MIM hybridization structure forms such a meta-film that integrates the previously incompatible respective merits of SPR and LSPR, including flat interfaces, high sensitivities, short evanescent fields and easy coupling with confined light. On the other hand, to achieve stable and reproducible performance is one of the greatest unresolved challenges for the development of nanophotonic biosensors. We point out that the key is to obtain well-controlled biomolecular behaviors using simple physical interfaces, for which the SPP-MIM meta-film provides a capable solution. We embed the SPP-MIM meta-film with a plasmonic crystal cavity and integrate it on a single-mode fiber's end-facet to detect biomolecular interactions. This device demonstrates highly reproducible sensorgrams and convincing detection of biotinylated proteins at down to 30 fM, with the sensorgrams following the Langmuir model. By unprecedentedly having both high sensitivity and high reproducibility, our device proposal provides a comprehensive solution for optical fiber-tip plasmonic devices to turn into a useful industrial biosensing technology.

GUNet: A Graph Convolutional Network United Diffusion Model for Stable and Diversity Pose Generation

Pose skeleton images are an important reference in pose-controllable image generation. In order to enrich the source of skeleton images, recent works have investigated the generation of pose skeletons based on natural language. These methods are based on GANs. However, it remains challenging to perform diverse, structurally correct and aesthetically pleasing human pose skeleton generation with various textual inputs. To address this problem, we propose a framework with GUNet as the main model, PoseDiffusion. It is the first generative framework based on a diffusion model and also contains a series of variants fine-tuned based on a stable diffusion model. PoseDiffusion demonstrates several desired properties that outperform existing methods. 1) Correct Skeletons. GUNet, a denoising model of PoseDiffusion, is designed to incorporate graphical convolutional neural networks. It is able to learn the spatial relationships of the human skeleton by introducing skeletal information during the training process. 2) Diversity. We decouple the key points of the skeleton and characterise them separately, and use cross-attention to introduce textual conditions. Experimental results show that PoseDiffusion outperforms existing SoTA algorithms in terms of stability and diversity of text-driven pose skeleton generation. Qualitative analyses further demonstrate its superiority for controllable generation in Stable Diffusion.

Distribution Properties of the 6.7 GHz Methanol Masers and Their Surrounding Gases in the Milky Way

An updated catalog consisting of 1092 6.7-GHz methanol maser sources was reported in this work. Additionally, the NH3 (1, 1), NH3 (2, 2), and NH3 (3, 3) transitions were observed towards 214 star forming regions using the Shanghai Tianma radio telescope (TMRT) in order to examine the differences in physical environments, such as excitation temperature and column density of molecular clouds associated with methanol masers on the Galactic scale. Statistical results reveal that the number of 6.7 GHz methanol masers in the Perseus arm is significantly lower than that in the other three main spiral arms. In addition, the Perseus arm also has the lowest gas column density among the main spiral arms traced by the NH3 observations. Both of these findings suggest that the Perseus arm has the lowest rate of high-mass star formation compared to the other three main spiral arms. We also observed a trend in which both the luminosity of 6.7 GHz methanol masers and the ammonia gas column density decreased as the galactocentric distances. This finding indicates that the density of material in the inner Milky Way is generally higher than that in the outer Milky Way. It further suggests that high-mass stars are more easily formed at the head of spiral arms. Furthermore, we found that the column density of ammonia gas is higher in the regions on the arms than that in the inter-arm regions, supporting that the former is more likely to be the birthplace of high-mass stars.

OpenStereo: A Comprehensive Benchmark for Stereo Matching and Strong Baseline

Stereo matching aims to estimate the disparity between matching pixels in a stereo image pair, which is important to robotics, autonomous driving, and other computer vision tasks. Despite the development of numerous impressive methods in recent years, determining the most suitable architecture for practical application remains challenging. Addressing this gap, our paper introduces a comprehensive benchmark focusing on practical applicability rather than solely on individual models for optimized performance. Specifically, we develop a flexible and efficient stereo matching codebase, called OpenStereo. OpenStereo includes training and inference codes of more than 10 network models, making it, to our knowledge, the most complete stereo matching toolbox available. Based on OpenStereo, we conducted experiments and have achieved or surpassed the performance metrics reported in the original paper. Additionally, we conduct an exhaustive analysis and deconstruction of recent developments in stereo matching through comprehensive ablative experiments. These investigations inspired the creation of StereoBase, a strong baseline model. Our StereoBase ranks 1st on SceneFlow, KITTI 2015, 2012 (Reflective) among published methods and achieves the best performance across all metrics. In addition, StereoBase has strong cross-dataset generalization. Code is available at \url{https://github.com/XiandaGuo/OpenStereo}.
