Resonance Femtoscopy Beyond the On-Shell Approximation

The observed shift of the $Δ(1232)$ resonance peak in $π$-$p$ femtoscopic correlations challenges the conventional Breit-Wigner description of resonances in femtoscopy. We revisit the Koonin-Pratt framework by formulating femtoscopy in the momentum-space representation. By employing the T-matrix approach to disentangle on-shell and off-shell contributions, we show that the finite spatial extent of the emission source naturally induces sensitivity to off-shell scattering dynamics. Using a Friedrichs-Lee model constrained by low-energy $π$-$p$ scattering data, we numerically demonstrate that this off-shell sensitivity leads to a peak shift accompanied by a dip on the high-momentum side of the peak. The predicted high-momentum side dip is absent in the data, pointing to source properties beyond the simple Gaussian approximation.

Response to the $^7_Λ$He interpretation of MAMI's recent determination of $B_Λ(^3_Λ$H)

We respond to the recent suggestion by A. Gal [arXiv:2604.18259] that the sharp pion-momentum peak at $p_{π^-} \approx 113.8$~MeV/$c$ observed in our $^7\mathrm{Li}(e,e^\prime K^+)$ electroproduction experiment at MAMI [Phys. Rev. Lett. 136, 152301 (2026)] originates from $^7_Λ\mathrm{He}$ weak decay rather than from $^3_Λ\mathrm{H} \to π^- + {}^3\mathrm{He}$ as we reported. We present quantitative arguments against this interpretation and conclude that the $^3_Λ\mathrm{H}$ assignment remains the most well-supported interpretation of the data.

Precise measurement of the $Λ$-binding energy difference between $^3_Λ$H and $^4_Λ$H via decay-pion spectroscopy at MAMI

We performed high-precision decay-pion spectroscopy of light $Λ$ hypernuclei at the Mainz Microtron (MAMI) using the A1 spectrometer facility. By measuring the monochromatic $π^-$ momentum from the two-body weak decay $^3_Λ\mathrm{H} \to {}^3\mathrm{He} + π^-$ and referencing it to the $^4_Λ\mathrm{H} \to {}^4\mathrm{He} + π^-$ decay, we determined the $Λ$ binding energy of $^3_Λ\mathrm{H}$ with unprecedented accuracy. The obtained value, $B_Λ(^3_Λ\mathrm{H}) = 0.523 \pm 0.013~(\mathrm{stat.}) \pm 0.075~(\mathrm{syst.})$~MeV, is consistent with the STAR result, but indicates a significantly deeper binding than inferred from earlier measurements. This result implies a stronger $Λ$-deuteron interaction and provides stringent constraints on hyperon-nucleon interactions.

AG-MPBS: a Mobility-Aware Prediction and Behavior-Based Scheduling Framework for Air-Ground Unmanned Systems

As unmanned systems such as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) become increasingly important to applications like urban sensing and emergency response, efficiently recruiting these autonomous devices to perform time-sensitive tasks has become a critical challenge. This paper presents MPBS (Mobility-aware Prediction and Behavior-based Scheduling), a scalable task recruitment framework that treats each device as a recruitable "user". MPBS integrates three key modules: a behavior-aware KNN classifier, a time-varying Markov prediction model for forecasting device mobility, and a dynamic priority scheduling mechanism that considers task urgency and base station performance. By combining behavioral classification with spatiotemporal prediction, MPBS adaptively assigns tasks to the most suitable devices in real time. Experimental evaluations on the real-world GeoLife dataset show that MPBS significantly improves task completion efficiency and resource utilization. The proposed framework offers a predictive, behavior-aware solution for intelligent and collaborative scheduling in unmanned systems.

Tri-Select: A Multi-Stage Visual Data Selection Framework for Mobile Visual Crowdsensing

Mobile visual crowdsensing enables large-scale, fine-grained environmental monitoring through the collection of images from distributed mobile devices. However, the resulting data is often redundant and heterogeneous due to overlapping acquisition perspectives, varying resolutions, and diverse user behaviors. To address these challenges, this paper proposes Tri-Select, a multi-stage visual data selection framework that efficiently filters redundant and low-quality images. Tri-Select operates in three stages: (1) metadata-based filtering to discard irrelevant samples; (2) spatial similarity-based spectral clustering to organize candidate images; and (3) a visual-feature-guided selection based on maximum independent set search to retain high-quality, representative images. Experiments on real-world and public datasets demonstrate that Tri-Select improves both selection efficiency and dataset quality, making it well-suited for scalable crowdsensing applications.

Method to search for the triple-neutron state in an electron scattering experiment

An electron scattering experiment to search for the trineutron state $^3n$ by reaction ${\rm ^4He}(e,~e'pπ^{+})^{3}n$ is designed for the A1 facility at Mainzer Microtron. The detailed principles, setup, and simulation of this experiment are presented. With the momenta of the scattered electron, the produced proton and $π^+$ from the reaction measured by three spectrometers with their triple coincidence, the missing mass spectrum of $^3n$ can be obtained. The production rate of $^3n$ based on the cross section of the reaction and a MC simulation is estimated to be about 1.5 per day, which can provide a confidence level of the signal greater than 5$σ$ with a beam time longer than 16 days. According to a MC simulation that evaluates the energy losses of particles in materials and the performance of three spectrometers, the estimated resolution and the predicted shape of the missing mass spectrum are presented. This work provides a new experimental concept for the search for multineutron states in future experiments with an electron beam.

AGCo-MATA: Air-Ground Collaborative Multi-Agent Task Allocation in Mobile Crowdsensing

Rapid progress in intelligent unmanned systems has presented new opportunities for mobile crowd sensing (MCS). Today, heterogeneous air-ground collaborative multi-agent framework, which comprise unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), have presented superior flexibility and efficiency compared to traditional homogeneous frameworks in complex sensing tasks. Within this context, task allocation among different agents always play an important role in improving overall MCS quality. In order to better allocate tasks among heterogeneous collaborative agents, in this paper, we investigated two representative complex multi-agent task allocation scenarios with dual optimization objectives: (1) For AG-FAMT (Air-Ground Few Agents More Tasks) scenario, the objectives are to maximize the task completion while minimizing the total travel distance; (2) For AG-MAFT (Air-Ground More Agents Few Tasks) scenario, where the agents are allocated based on their locations, has the optimization objectives of minimizing the total travel distance while reducing travel time cost. To achieve this, we proposed a Multi-Task Minimum Cost Maximum Flow (MT-MCMF) optimization algorithm tailored for AG-FAMT, along with a multi-objective optimization algorithm called W-ILP designed for AG-MAFT, with a particular focus on optimizing the charging path planning of UAVs. Our experiments based on a large-scale real-world dataset demonstrated that the proposed two algorithms both outperform baseline approaches under varying experimental settings, including task quantity, task difficulty, and task distribution, providing a novel way to improve the overall quality of mobile crowdsensing tasks.

Measurement of $\rm ^{6}H$ ground state energy in an electron scattering experiment at MAMI-A1

For the first time the neutron-rich hydrogen isotope $\rm ^{6}H$ was produced in an electron scattering experiment in the reaction $\rm ^{7}Li(e,~e'pπ^{+})^{6}H$ using the spectrometer facility of the A1 Collaboration at the Mainz Microtron accelerator. By measuring the triple coincidence between the scattered electron, the produced proton, and $π^{+}$, the missing mass spectrum of $\rm ^{6}H$ was obtained. A clear peak above $^3$H+n+n+n energy threshold was seen resulting in a ground state energy of $\rm ^{6}H$ at $2.3\pm0.5({\rm stat.})\pm0.4({\rm syst.})$ MeV with a width of $1.9\pm1.0({\rm stat.})\pm0.4({\rm syst.})$ MeV. This work challenges the understandings of multi-nucleon interactions and presents a new method to study light neutron-rich nuclei with electron scattering experiments.

Single crystal synthesis and low-lying electronic structure of V$_3$S$_4$

We report successful growth of millimeter-sized high quality single crystals of V$_3$S$_4$, a candidate topological semimetal belonging to a low-symmetry space group and consisting of only low atomic number elements. Using density functional theory calculations and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, we show that the nonmagnetic phase of monoclinic V$_3$S$_4$ hosts type-II Dirac-like quasiparticles which opens a sizable gap due to spin orbit coupling, as well as theoretical multiple nodal lines that are eliminated also by spin orbit coupling. These results suggest that relativistic effects give rise to profound modifications of the topological properties even in compounds with low-weight elements.

Production of light antinuclei in $pp$ collisions by dynamical coalescence and their fluxes in cosmic rays near earth

Light antinucleus yields are calculated in a multiphase transport model (AMPT) coupled with a dynamical coalescence model. The model is tuned to reproduce the transverse momentum and rapidity distributions of antiproton in $pp$ collisions at $\rm \sqrt{s}$ = 7.7 GeV to 7 TeV. By applying a widely used cosmic ray propagation model, the antinucleus fluxes near the earth are estimated over a broad range of kinetic energies. Our result on the antideuteron flux is consistent with the calculations in the literature, while our upper limit on the antihelium-3 flux sits in-between calculations in the field that span an order of magnitude in its value. This study suggests that further accurate estimation of secondary antihelium-3 flux could be improved with more ground-based experiments and model simulations. Most importantly, our value of antinucleus background from hadronic source is far below the projected sensitivity of AMS-02 with 5 years of integration time, which supports the idea of searching for new physics by measurements of light antinuclei in upcoming decade.

Enhanced production of strange baryons in high energy nuclear collisions from a multiphase transport model

We introduce additional coalescence factors for the production of strange baryons in a multiphase transport (AMPT) model in order to describe the enhanced production of multistrange hadrons observed in Pb-Pb collisions at $\rm \sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV at the Large hadron Collider (LHC) and Au+Au collisions at $\rm \sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV at Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC).This extended AMPT model is found to also give a reasonable description of the multiplicity dependence of the strangeness enhancement observed in high multiplicity events in $pp$ collisions at $\rm \sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV and $p$-Pb collisions at $\rm \sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV. We find that the coalescence factors depend on the system size but not much on whether the system is produced from A+A or p+A collisions. The extended AMPT model thus provides a convenient way to model the mechanism underlying the observed strangeness enhancement in collisions of both small and large systems at RHIC and LHC energies.

Yield ratio of hypertriton to light nuclei in heavy-ion collisions from $\rm \sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 4.9 GeV to 2.76 TeV

We resolve the difference in the yield ratio $\rm S_3$ = $\rm \frac{N_{^3_ΛH}/N_Λ}{N_{^3He}/N_p}$ measured in Au+Au collisions at $\rm \sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV and in Pb-Pb collisions at $\rm \sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV by adopting a different treatment of the weak decay contribution to the proton yield in Au+Au collisions at $\rm \sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV. We then use the coalescence model to extract information on the $Λ$ and nucleon density fluctuations at the kinetic freeze-out of heavy ion collisions. We also show from available experimental data that the yield ratio $\rm S_2$ = $\rm \frac{N_{^3_ΛH}}{N_ΛN_ d}$ is a more promising observable than $\rm S_3$ for probing the local baryon-strangeness correlation in the produced medium.

Probing QCD critical fluctuations from the yield ratio of strange hadrons in relativistic heavy-ion collisions

By analyzing the available data on strange hadrons in central Pb+Pb collisions from the NA49 Collaboration at the Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) and in central Au+Au collisions from the STAR Collaboration at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC) in a wide collision energy range from $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 6.3 GeV to 200 GeV, we find a possible non-monotonic behavior in the ratio $\mathcal{O}_\text{K-$Ξ$-$ϕ$-$Λ$}$= $\frac{N(K^+)N(Ξ^-)}{N(ϕ)N(Λ)}$ of $K^+$, $Ξ^-$, $ϕ$, and $Λ$ yields as a function of $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$. Based on the quark coalescence model, which can take into account the effect of quark density fluctuations on hadron production, a possible non-monotonic behavior in the dependence of the strange quark density fluctuation on $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ is obtained. This is in contrast to the coalescence model that does not include quark density fluctuations and also to the statistical hadronization model as both fail to describe even qualitatively the collision energy dependence of the ratio $\mathcal{O}_\text{K-$Ξ$-$ϕ$-$Λ$}$. Our findings thus suggest that the signal and location of a possible critical endpoint in the QCD phase diagram, which is expected to result in large quark density fluctuations, can be found in the on-going Bean Energy Scan program at RHIC.
