Geodesic simplices of pseudo-hyperbolic space

We give a cohomological interpretation of the geodesic simplices of the pseudo-hyperbolic space of signature $(p,q)$ and formulate a necessary and sufficient condition for such a simplex to have finite volume. As a corollary, we obtain that every ideal geodesic polytope in the pseudo-hyperbolic space of signature $(2,2)$ has finite volume.

Volume of maximal representations into $\mathrm{SO}_0(2,3)$

We study the volume of maximal representations from a surface group into $\mathrm{SO}_0(2,3)$. We show that it is bounded from above, uniformly in the genus of the surface. We also prove that on the Gothen components, it is bounded from below by a strictly positive constant.
