Compactness of composition operators on the Bergman space of the bidisc

Let $\varphi$ be a holomorphic self map of the bidisc that is Lipschitz on the closure. We show that the composition operator $C_{\varphi}$ is compact on the Bergman space if and only if $\varphi(\overline{\mathbb{D}^2})\cap \mathbb{T}^2=\emptyset$ and $\varphi(\overline{\mathbb{D}^2}\setminus \mathbb{T}^2)\cap b\mathbb{D}^2=\emptyset$.

Solvability of the Gleason problem on a class of bounded pseudoconvex domains

We show that if a bounded pseudoconvex domain satisfies the solvability of the bounded $\bar{\partial}$ problem, then the ideal of bounded holomorphic functions vanishing at a point in the domain is finitely generated. We also prove a smooth analog of the main result for bounded pseudoconvex domains with a sufficiently smooth boundary and also consider the Bergman space case.

Compactness and Singular Points of Composition Operators on Bergman spaces

Let $Ω\subset \mathbb{C}^n$ for $n\geq 2$ be a bounded pseudoconvex domain with a $C^2$-smooth boundary. We study the compactness of composition operators on the Bergman spaces of smoothly bounded convex domains. We give a partial characterization of compactness of the composition operator (with sufficient regularity of the symbol) in terms of the behavior of the Jacobian on the boundary. We then construct a counterexample to show the converse of the theorem is false.
