Spatiotemporal Trajectory Tracking Method for Vehicles Incorporating Lead-Lag Judgement

In the domain of intelligent transportation systems, especially within the context of autonomous vehicle control, the preemptive holistic collaborative system has been presented as a promising solution to bring a remarkable enhancement in traffic efficiency and a substantial reduction in the accident rate, demonstrating a great potential of development. In order to ensure this system operates as intended, accurate tracking of the spatiotemporal trajectory is of crucial significance. Moreover, minimizing the tracking error is a necessary step in this process. To this end, a novel lead-lag judgment mechanism is proposed. This mechanism precisely quantifies the longitudinal positional deviation between the vehicle and the target trajectory over time, then the deviation is corrected with a real - time acceleration compensation strategy, as a result, the accuracy and reliability of trajectory tracking are significantly enhanced. Real - vehicle experiments were conducted in a dedicated test field to validate the feasibility of this innovative approach empirically. Subsequently, the obtained tracking data was subsequent processed using the lead-lag judgment mechanism. In this step, we carefully analyzed the spatiotemporal error patterns between the vehicle and the target trajectory under different alignments and speeds. Finally, using real highway speed and alignment data, we conducted comprehensive spatiotemporal trajectory tracking simulations. Through experiments and simulations, tracking errors maintained in an acceptable range and reasonable spatiotemporal distance is given during the preemptive merging process on highway ramps. Overall, this study offers valuable insights for highway ramp emerging safety. Future work can expand on these findings.

Spatio-temporal cooperative control Method of Highway Ramp Merge Based on Vehicle-road Coordination

The merging area of highway ramps faces multiple challenges, including traffic congestion, collision risks, speed mismatches, driver behavior uncertainties, limited visibility, and bottleneck effects. However, autonomous vehicles engaging in depth coordination between vehicle and road in merging zones, by pre-planning and uploading travel trajectories, can significantly enhance the safety and efficiency of merging zones. In this paper,we mainly introduce mainline priority cooperation method to achieve the time and space cooperative control of highway merge.Vehicle-mounted intelligent units share real-time vehicle status and driving intentions with Road Section Management Units, which pre-plan the spatiotemporal trajectories of vehicle travel. After receiving these trajectories, Vehicle Intelligent Units strictly adhere to them. Through this deep collaboration between vehicles and roads, conflicts in time and space during vehicle travel are eliminated in advance.

Design and Testing for Steel Support Axial Force Servo System

Foundation excavations are deepening, expanding, and approaching structures. Steel supports measure and manage axial force. The study regulates steel support structure power during deep excavation using a novel axial force management system for safety, efficiency, and structural integrity. Closed-loop control changes actuator output to maintain axial force based on force. In deep excavation, the servo system regulates unstable soil, side pressure, and structural demands. Modern engineering and tech are used. Temperature changes automatically adjust the jack to maintain axial force. Includes hydraulic jacks, triple-acting cylinders, temperature, and deformation sensors, and automatic control. Foundation pit excavation is dynamic, yet structure tension is constant. There is no scientific way to regulate axial force foundation pit excavation. The revolutionary Servo system adjusts temperature, compression, and axial force to deform pits. System control requires foundation pit direction detection and modification. This engineering method has performed effectively for deep foundation pit excavation at railway crossings and other infrastructure projects. The surrounding protective structure may reduce the steel support's axial stress, making deep foundation excavation safe and efficient. The extremal problem for weighted combined energy and $ρ-$Nitsche type inequality

Let $A_1$ and $A_2$ be two circular annuli and let $ρ$ be a radial metric defined in the annuli $A_2$. We study the existence and uniqueness of the extremal problem for weighted combined energy between $A_1$ and $A_2$, and obtain that the extremal mapping is a certain radial mapping. In fact, this extremal mapping generalizes the $ρ-$harmonic mapping and satisfies equation (2.7) obtained by mean of variation for weighted combined energy. Meanwhile, we get a $ρ-$Nitsche type inequality. This extends the results of Kalaj (J. Differential Equations, 268(2020)) and YTF (Arch. Math., 122(2024)), where they considered the case $ρ=1$ and $ρ=\frac{1}{|h|^{2}}$, respectively. Moreover, in the course of proving the extremal problem for weighted combined energy we also investigate the extremal problem for the weighted combined distortion (see Theorem 4.1). This extends the result obtained by Kalaj (J. London Math. Soc., 93(2016)).

Exploring Multi-Lingual Bias of Large Code Models in Code Generation

Code generation aims to synthesize code and fulfill functional requirements based on natural language (NL) specifications, which can greatly improve development efficiency. In the era of large language models (LLMs), large code models (LCMs) have been recently proposed to generate source code. LCMs can generate highly feasible solutions for programming problems described in natural language. Despite the effectiveness, we observe a noticeable multilingual bias in the generation performance of LCMs. Specifically, LCMs demonstrate proficiency in generating solutions when provided with instructions in English, yet may falter when faced with semantically equivalent instructions in other NLs such as Chinese. Moreover, the ability of LCMs to generate code exhibits variety across different programming languages (PLs), such as Python and C++. The observed phenomenon indicates the presence of multi-lingual bias within the generative capabilities of LCMs, which has remained unexplored. In this paper, we aim to investigate the multi-lingual bias that exists in current LCMs. First, we initiate our investigation by constructing the first multi-lingual evaluation benchmark X-HumanEval-X, enabling us to systematically evaluate the extent of multi-lingual bias that exists in current LCMs. In our large-scale experiments on nine popular LCMs, we observe a pronounced multi-lingual bias of LCMs in code generation, including multi-NL and multi-PL bias. Specifically, when using Chinese instructions, the code generation capabilities of LCMs decrease by at least 13% in terms of the Pass@1 metric. Furthermore, LCMs perform variously across different programming languages, e.g., the performance gap between Python and C++ reaches as high as 20.9%. ...

The extremal problem for weighted combined energy and the generalization of Nitsche inequality

We consider the existence and uniqueness of a minimizer of the extremal problem for weighted combined energy between two concentric annuli and obtain that the extremal mapping is a certain radial mapping. Meanwhile, this in turn implies a Nitsche type phenomenon and we get a $\frac{1}{|w|^λ}-$Nitsche type inequality ($λ\neq1$). As an application, on the basis of the relationship between weighted combined energy and weighted combined distortion, we also investigate the extremal problem for weighted combined distortion on annuli. This extends the result obtained by Kalaj in \cite{Ka1}.

Hard Sample Aware Noise Robust Learning for Histopathology Image Classification

Deep learning-based histopathology image classification is a key technique to help physicians in improving the accuracy and promptness of cancer diagnosis. However, the noisy labels are often inevitable in the complex manual annotation process, and thus mislead the training of the classification model. In this work, we introduce a novel hard sample aware noise robust learning method for histopathology image classification. To distinguish the informative hard samples from the harmful noisy ones, we build an easy/hard/noisy (EHN) detection model by using the sample training history. Then we integrate the EHN into a self-training architecture to lower the noise rate through gradually label correction. With the obtained almost clean dataset, we further propose a noise suppressing and hard enhancing (NSHE) scheme to train the noise robust model. Compared with the previous works, our method can save more clean samples and can be directly applied to the real-world noisy dataset scenario without using a clean subset. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme outperforms the current state-of-the-art methods in both the synthetic and real-world noisy datasets. Multi-level colonoscopy malignant tissue detection with adversarial CAC-UNet

The automatic and objective medical diagnostic model can be valuable to achieve early cancer detection, and thus reducing the mortality rate. In this paper, we propose a highly efficient multi-level malignant tissue detection through the designed adversarial CAC-UNet. A patch-level model with a pre-prediction strategy and a malignancy area guided label smoothing is adopted to remove the negative WSIs, with which to lower the risk of false positive detection. For the selected key patches by multi-model ensemble, an adversarial context-aware and appearance consistency UNet (CAC-UNet) is designed to achieve robust segmentation. In CAC-UNet, mirror designed discriminators are able to seamlessly fuse the whole feature maps of the skillfully designed powerful backbone network without any information loss. Besides, a mask prior is further added to guide the accurate segmentation mask prediction through an extra mask-domain discriminator. The proposed scheme achieves the best results in MICCAI DigestPath2019 challenge on colonoscopy tissue segmentation and classification task. The full implementation details and the trained models are available at https://github.com/Raykoooo/CAC-UNet.

Matching model of flow table for networked big data

Networking for big data has to be intelligent because it will adjust data transmission requirements adaptively during data splitting and merging. Software-defined networking (SDN) provides a workable and practical paradigm for designing more efficient and flexible networks. Matching strategy in the flow table of SDN switches is most crucial. In this paper, we use a classification approach to analyze the structure of packets based on the tuple-space lookup mechanism, and propose a matching model of the flow table in SDN switches by classifying packets based on a set of fields, which is called an F-OpenFlow. The experiment results show that the proposed F-OpenFlow effectively improves the utilization rate and matching efficiency of the flow table in SDN switches for networked big data.

Quantitative Analysis of Particles Segregation

Segregation is a popular phenomenon. It has considerable effects on material performance. To the author's knowledge, there is still no automated objective quantitative indicator for segregation. In order to full fill this task, segregation of particles is analyzed. Edges of the particles are extracted from the digital picture. Then, the whole picture of particles is splintered to small rectangles with the same shape. Statistical index of the edges in each rectangle is calculated. Accordingly, segregation between the indexes corresponding to the rectangles is evaluated. The results show coincident with subjective evaluated results. Further more, it can be implemented as an automated system, which would facilitate the materials quality control mechanism during production process.
