Generalized almost periodic and generalized asymptotically almost periodic type functions in Lebesgue spaces with variable exponents $L^{p(x)}$

In the paper under review, we introduce the notions of various types of generalized (asymptotical) almost periodicity with variable exponents. We define and thoroughly analyze an important subclass of (asymptotically) Stepanov almost periodic functions which contains all (asymptotically) almost periodic functions. We provide a great number of relevant applications to abstract Volterra integro-differential equations in Banach spaces.

Existence Results for Some Damped Second-Order Volterra Integro-Differential Equations

In this paper we make a subtle use of operator theory techniques and the well-known Schauder fixed-point principle to establish the existence of pseudo-almost automorphic solutions to some second-order damped integro-differential equations with pseudo-almost automorphic coefficients. In order to illustrate our main results, we will study the existence of pseudo-almost automorphic solutions to a structurally damped plate-like boundary value problem.

Existence Results for Some Nonautonomous Integro-differential Equations

In this paper we make a subtle use of tools from operator theory and the Schauder fixed-point theorem to establish the existence of pseudo-almost automorphic solutions to some classes of nonautonomous integro-differential equations with pseudo-almost automorphic forcing terms. To illustrate our main results, the existence of pseudo-almost automorphic solutions to a parabolic Neumann boundary value problem that models population genetics and nerve pulse propagation will be discussed.

Existence of Weighted Pseudo Almost Periodic Solutions to Some Classes of Nonautonomous Partial Evolution Equations

In this paper, under Acquistpace-Terreni conditions, we make extensive use of interpolation spaces and exponential dichotomy techniques to obtain the existence of weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions to some classes of nonautonomous partial evolution equations. Applications include the existence of weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions to a nonautonomous heat equation with gradient coefficients.

Doubly-Weighted Pseudo-Almost Periodic Functions

We introduce and study a new concept called doubly-weighted pseudo-almost periodicity, which generalizes the notion of weighted pseudo-almost periodicity due to Diagana. Properties of such a new concept such as the stability of the convolution, translation-invariance, existence of a doubly-weighted mean for almost periodic functions, and a composition result will be studied.

Some Remarks on Some Second-Order Elliptic Differential Equations

We are concerned with the almost automorphic solutions to the second-order elliptic differential equations of type $\ddot u(s) + 2 B \dot u(s) + A u(s) = f(s) (\ast),$ where $A, B$ are densely defined closed linear operators acting in a Hilbert space ${\mathbb H}$ and $f: {\mathbb R} \mapsto {\mathbb H}$ is a vector-valued almost automorphic function. Using invariant subspaces, it will be shown that under appropriate assumptions; every solution to $(\ast)$ is almost automorphic.

Existence of Doubly-Weighted Pseudo Almost Periodic Solutions to Some Classes of Nonautonomous Differential Equations

The main objective of this paper is twofold. We first show that if the doubly-weighted Bohr spectrum of an almost periodic function exists, then it is either empty or coincides with the Bohr spectrum of that function. Next, we investigate the problem which consists of the existence of doubly-weighted pseudo-almost periodic solutions to some nonautonomous abstract differential equations.

Existence of Pseudo Almost Periodic Solutions to Some Classes of Partial Hyperbolic Evolution Equations

The paper examines the existence of pseudo almost periodic solutions to some classes of partial hyperbolic evolution equations. Namely, sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of pseudo almost periodic solutions to those classes of hyperbolic evolution equations are given. Applications include the existence of pseudo almost periodic solutions to the transport and heat equations with delay.

On the Solvability of Some Abstract Differential Equations

This paper is concerned with the solvability of some abstract differential equation of type $$\dot u(t) + Au(t) + Bu(t) \ni f(t), t \in (0,T], u(0) = 0,$$ where $A$ is a linear selfadjoint operator and $B$ is a nonlinear(possibly multi-valued)maximal monotone operator in a (real) Hilbert space ${\mathbb H}$ with the normalization $0 \in B (0)$. We use the concept of variational sum introduced by H. Attouch, J.-B. Baillon, and M. Théra, to investigate solutions to the given abstract differential equation. Several applications will be discussed, among them the case where $B = \subdifferential ϕ$, the subdifferential of a convex semicontinuous proper function $ϕ$.

Square Root Problem of Kato for the Sum of Operators

This paper is concerned with the square root problem of Kato for the "sum" of linear operators in a Hilbert space ${\mathbb H}$. Under suitable assumptions, we show that if $A$ and $B$ are respectively m-scetroial linear operators satisfying the square root problem of Kato. Then the same conclusion still holds for their "sum". As application, we consider perturbed Schrödinger operators.

Some Remarks on Some Strongly Coupled Reaction-Diffusion Equations

The primary goal of this paper is to characterize solutions to coupled reaction-diffusion systems. Indeed, we use operators theory to show that under suitable assumptions, then the solutions to the reaction-diffusion equations exist. As applications, we consider a mathematical model arising in Biology and in Chemistry.
