The paper contains the study of the weighted $L^{p_1}\times L^{p_2}\times \ldots \times L^{p_m}\to L^p$ estimates for the multilinear maximal operator, in the context of abstract probability spaces equipped with a tree-like structure. Using the Bellman function method, we identify the associated optimal constants for weights satisfying the multilinear Muckenhoupt condition.
The purpose of the paper is to establish weighted maximal $L_p$-inequalities in the context of operator-valued martingales on semifinite von Neumann algebras. The main emphasis is put on the optimal dependence of the $L_p$ constants on the characteristic of the weight involved. As applications, we establish weighted estimates for the noncommutative version of Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and weighted bounds for noncommutative maximal truncations of a wide class of singular integrals.
The paper contains an alternative proof of the celebrated $L^p$ estimates for differentially subordinate martingales established by Burkholder and Wang in the eighties and nineties. The approach links the validity of the estimate to the existence of a lower solution to a novel boundary value problem.
