Rogers dilogarithms of higher degree and generalized cluster algebras

In connection with generalized cluster algebras we introduce a certain generalization of the celebrated Rogers dilogarithm, which we call the Rogers dilogarithms of higher degree. We show that there is an identity of these generalized Rogers dilogarithms associated with any period of seeds of a generalized cluster algebra.

Quantum generalized cluster algebras and quantum dilogarithms of higher degrees

We extend the notion of the quantization of the coefficients of the ordinary cluster algebras to the generalized cluster algebras by Chekhov and Shapiro. In parallel to the ordinary case, it is tightly integrated with certain generalizations of the ordinary quantum dilogarithm, which we call the quantum dilogarithms of higher degrees. As an application, we derive the identities of these generalized quantum dilogarithms associated with any period of quantum Y-seeds.

Wonder of sine-Gordon Y-systems

The sine-Gordon Y-systems and the reduced sine-Gordon Y-systems were introduced by Tateo in the 90's in the study of the integrable deformation of conformal field theory by the thermodynamic Bethe ansatz method. The periodicity property and the dilogarithm identities concerning these Y-systems were conjectured by Tateo, and only a part of them have been proved so far. In this paper we formulate these Y-systems by the polygon realization of cluster algebras of types A and D, and prove the conjectured periodicity and dilogarithm identities in full generality. As it turns out, there is a wonderful interplay among continued fractions, triangulations of polygons, cluster algebras, and Y-systems.

Structure of seeds in generalized cluster algebras

We study generalized cluster algebras introduced by Chekhov and Shapiro. When the coefficients satisfy the normalization and quasi-reciprocity conditions, one can naturally extend the structure theory of seeds in the ordinary cluster algebras by Fomin and Zelevinsky to generalized cluster algebras. As the main result, we obtain formulas expressing cluster variables and coefficients in terms of c-vectors, g-vectors, and F-polynomials.

Companion cluster algebras to a generalized cluster algebra

We study the $c$-vectors, $g$-vectors, and $F$-polynomials for generalized cluster algebras satisfying a normalization condition and a power condition recovering classical recursions and separation of additions formulas. We establish a relationship between the $c$-vectors, $g$-vectors, and $F$-polynomials of such a generalized cluster algebra and its (left- and right-) companion cluster algebras. Our main result states that the cluster variables and coefficients of the (left- and right-) companion cluster algebras can be recovered via a specialization of the $F$-polynomials.

Exact WKB analysis and cluster algebras II: Simple poles, orbifold points, and generalized cluster algebras

This is a continuation of developing mutation theory in exact WKB analysis using the framework of cluster algebras. Here we study the Schrodinger equation on a compact Riemann surface with turning points of simple-pole type. We show that the orbifold triangulations by Felikson, Shapiro, and Tumarkin provide a natural framework of describing the mutation of Stokes graphs, where simple poles correspond to orbifold points. We then show that under the mutation of Stokes graphs around simple poles the Voros symbols mutate as the variables of generalized cluster algebras introduced by Chekhov and Shapiro.

Exact WKB analysis and cluster algebras

We develop the mutation theory in the exact WKB analysis using the framework of cluster algebras. Under a continuous deformation of the potential of the Schrödinger equation on a compact Riemann surface, the Stokes graph may change the topology. We call this phenomenon the mutation of Stokes graphs. Along the mutation of Stokes graphs, the Voros symbols, which are monodromy data of the equation, also mutate due to the Stokes phenomenon. We show that the Voros symbols mutate as variables of a cluster algebra with surface realization. As an application, we obtain the identities of Stokes automorphisms associated with periods of cluster algebras. The paper also includes an extensive introduction of the exact WKB analysis and the surface realization of cluster algebras for nonexperts.

T-systems and Y-systems in integrable systems

The T and Y-systems are ubiquitous structures in classical and quantum integrable systems. They are difference equations having a variety of aspects related to commuting transfer matrices in solvable lattice models, q-characters of Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules of quantum affine algebras, cluster algebras with coefficients, periodicity conjectures of Zamolodchikov and others, dilogarithm identities in conformal field theory, difference analogue of L-operators in KP hierarchy, Stokes phenomena in 1d Schrödinger problem, AdS/CFT correspondence, Toda field equations on discrete space-time, Laplace sequence in discrete geometry, Fermionic character formulas and combinatorial completeness of Bethe ansatz, Q-system and ideal gas with exclusion statistics, analytic and thermodynamic Bethe ansätze, quantum transfer matrix method and so forth. This review article is a collection of short reviews on these topics which can be read more or less independently.

Fusion, mass, and representation theory of the Yangian algebra

Based on the formulation of Drinfel'd, Chari, and Pressley, a technique to analyze the structure of tensor products of the Yangian algebra representations is presented. We then apply the results to the $S$-matrix theory of the $G\otimes G$-invariant nonlinear $σ$-model ($G$-principal chiral model) by Ogievetsky, Reshetikhin, and Wiegmann. We show how the physical data such as mass formula, fusion angle, and the spins of integrals of motion can be extracted from the Yangian highest weight representations.

Diagrammatic description of c-vectors and d-vectors of cluster algebras of finite type

We provide an explicit Dynkin diagrammatic description of the c-vectors and the d-vectors (the denominator vectors) of any cluster algebra of finite type with principal coefficients and any initial exchange matrix. We use the surface realization of cluster algebras for types A_n and D_n, then we apply the folding method to D_{n+1} and A_{2n-1} to obtain types B_n and C_n. Exceptional types are done by direct inspection with the help of a computer algebra software. We also propose a conjecture on the root property of c-vectors for a general cluster algebra.

Note on dilogarithm identities from nilpotent double affine Hecke algebras

Recently Cherednik and Feigin obtained several Rogers-Ramanujan type identities via the nilpotent double affine Hecke algebras (Nil-DAHA). These identities further led to a series of dilogarithm identities, some of which are known, while some are left conjectural. We confirm and explain all of them by showing the connection with Y-systems associated with (untwisted and twisted) quantum affine Kac-Moody algebras.

Classical and Quantum Dilogarithm Identities

Using the quantum cluster algebra formalism of Fock and Goncharov, we present several forms of quantum dilogarithm identities associated with periodicities in quantum cluster algebras, namely, the tropical, universal, and local forms. We then demonstrate how classical dilogarithm identities naturally emerge from quantum dilogarithm identities in local form in the semiclassical limit by applying the saddle point method.

Periodicities in cluster algebras and dilogarithm identities

We consider two kinds of periodicities of mutations in cluster algebras. For any sequence of mutations under which exchange matrices are periodic, we define the associated T- and Y-systems. When the sequence is `regular', they are particularly natural generalizations of the known `classic' T- and Y-systems. Furthermore, for any sequence of mutations under which seeds are periodic, we formulate the associated dilogarithm identity. We prove the identities when exchange matrices are skew symmetric.

On tropical dualities in cluster algebras

We study two families of integer vectors playing a crucial part in the structural theory of cluster algebras: the $\gg$-vectors parameterizing cluster variables, and the $\cc$-vectors parameterizing the coefficients. We prove two identities relating these vectors to each other. The proofs depend on the sign-coherence assumption for $\cc$-vectors that still remains unproved in full generality.

Dilogarithm identities for conformal field theories and cluster algebras: simply laced case

The dilogarithm identities for the central charges of conformal field theories of simply laced type were conjectured by Bazhanov, Kirillov, and Reshetikhin. Their functional generalizations were conjectured by Gliozzi and Tateo. They have been partly proved by various authors. We prove these identities in full generality for any pair of Dynkin diagrams of simply laced type based on the cluster algebra formulation of the Y-systems.

Periodicities of T and Y-systems, dilogarithm identities, and cluster algebras I: Type B_r

We prove the periodicities of the restricted T and Y-systems associated with the quantum affine algebra of type B_r at any level. We also prove the dilogarithm identities for the Y-systems of type B_r at any level. Our proof is based on the tropical Y-systems and the categorification of the cluster algebra associated with any skew-symmetric matrix by Plamondon. Using this new method, we also give an alternative and simplified proof of the periodicities of the T and Y-systems associated with pairs of simply laced Dynkin diagrams.
