Conditional distribution of the sample mean and localization

We prove a new hypothesis on the conditional distribution of the sample mean of the fluctuations of an i.i.d. random potential in the Anderson model. The paper extends to uniform probability distribution some earlier work with Gaussian distribution and the localization results.

Resonances and multi-particle localization at low energy

We use a new eigenvalue concentration bound for the fluctuation of the sample mean of the random extternal potential in the multi-particle Anderson model and prove the spectral exponential and the strong dynamical localization. The results just need some weaker condition on the distribution function of the sample including a large class of probability distribution such as log-Hölder continuous or Lipshitz continuous. The method also apply to i.i.d. random Gaussian potential with independent fluctuations.

On complete localization for the one-dimensional multi-particle Anderson-Bernoulli model with infinite range interaction

We consider the multi-particle Anderson model on the lattice with infinite range but sub-exponentially decaying interaction and show the Anderson localization consisting of the spectral exponential and the strong dynamical localization. In particular, the dynamical localization is proved int he Hilbert-Schmidt norm. The results concern very singular probability distributions such as the Bernoulli's measures.

Wegner bounds for one-dimensional multi-particle Bernoulli-Anderson models in the continuum

We prove the Wegner bounds for the one-dimensional interacting multi-particle Anderson models in the continuum. The results apply to singular probability distribution functions such as the Bernoulli's measures. The proofs need the amplitude of the inter-particle interaction potential to be sufficiently weak. As a consequence, the results imply the Anderson localization via the multi-scale analysis.

Localization for $N$-particle continuous models with strongly mixing correlated random potentials

For the multi-particle Anderson model with correlated random potential in the continuum, we show under fairly general assumptions on the inter-particle interaction and the random external potential, the Anderson localization which consists of both the spectral, exponential localization and the strong dynamical localization. The localization results are proven near the lower spectral edge of the almost sure spectrum and the proofs require the uniform log-Hölder continuity assumption of the probability distribution functions of the random field in addition of the Rosenblatt's strongly mixing condition.

N-body localization for the Anderson model with strongly mixing correlated random potentials

This work establishes the Anderson localization in both the spectral exponential and the strong dynamical localization for the multi-particle Anderson tight-binding model with correlated but strongly mixing random external potential. The results are obtained near the lower edge of the spectrum of the multi-particle Hamiltonian. In particular, the exponential decay of the eigenfunctions is proved in the max-norm and the dynamical localization in the Hilbert-Schmidt norm. The proofs need the conditional probability distribution function of the random external stochastic processes to obey the uniform log-Hölder continuity condition.

Wegner bounds for N-body interacting Bernoulli-Anderson models in one dimension

Under the weak interaction regime, we prove the one and the two volumes Wegner type bounds for one dimensional multi-particle models on the lattice and for very singular probability distribution functions such as the Bernoulli measures. The results imply the Anderson loclalization in both the spectral exponential and the strong dynamical localization for the one dimensional multi-particle Bernoulli-Anderson model with weak interaction.

Multi-particle localization at low energy for the multi-dimensional continuous Anderson model

We study the multi-particle Anderson model in the continuum and show that under some mild assumptions on the random external potential and the inter-particle interaction, for any finite number of particles, the multi-particle lower edges of the spectrum are almost surely constant in absence of ergodicity. We stress that this result is not quite obvious and has to be handled carefully. In addition, we prove the spectral exponential and the strong dynamical localization of the continuous multi-particle Anderson model at low energy. The proof based on the multi-particle multi-scale analysis bounds, needs the values of the external random potential to be independent and identically distributed (i.i.d.) whose common probability distribution is at least Log-Hölder continuous.

Anderson localization for weakly interacting multi-particle models in the continuum

For the weakly interacting one-dimensional multi-particle Anderson model in the continuum space of configurations, we prove the spectral exponential and the strong dynamical localization. The results require the interaction amplitude to be sufficiently small. The general strategy uses the multi-scale analysis bounds. Actually, we show that the multi-scale analysis bounds of the single particle model remain stable when passing to multi-particle systems, provided that the inter-particle interaction is sufficiently small. The common probability distribution of the i.i.d. random external potential in the Anderson model, is only needed to be log-Hölder continuous.

Lifshitz tails for the multi-particle continuous Anderson model

We consider the multi-particle Anderson model in the continuum and show that under some mild assumptions on the inter-particle interaction and the external potential, its lower spectral edge is almost surely constant and is the same with that of the single-particle model. We then obtain the lifshitz asymptotics for the multi-particle hamiltonian in the continuum near the bottom of the spectrum.

Multi-particle localization for weakly interacting Anderson tight-binding models

We establish the complete spectral exponential, and the strong Hilbert-Schmidt dynamical localization for the one-dimensional multi-particle Anderson tight-binding model and for weakly interacting particles system. In other words, we show stability of the one-dimensional localization from the single-particle to multi-particle systems with an arbitrary large but finite number of particles and for sufficient weakly interacting models. The proof uses the multi-scale analysis estimates for multi-particle systems. The common probability distribution function of the random external potential in the Anderson model is assumed to be log-Hölder continuous, so the results apply to a large class of Anderson models.

On two-particle Anderson localization at low energies

We prove exponential spectral localization in a two-particle lattice Anderson model, with a short-range interaction and external random i.i.d. potential, at sufficiently low energies. The proof is based on the multi-particle multi-scale analysis developed earlier by Chulaevsky and Suhov (2009) in the case of high disorder. Our method applies to a larger class of random potentials than in Aizenman and Warzel (2009) where dynamical localization was proved with the help of the fractional moment method.

Localization at low energies in the multi-particle tight-binding model

We consider the multi-particle Anderson tight-binding model and prove that its lower spectral edge is non-random under some mild assumptions on the inter-particle interaction and the random external potential. We also adapt to the low energy regime the multi-particle multi-scale analysis initially developed by Chulaevsky and Suhov in the high disorder limit, if the marginal probability distribution of the i.i.d. random variables is log-Hölder continuous and obtain the spectral exponential and strong dynamical localization near the bottom of the spectrum.
