Motion of Satellite under the Effect of Oblateness of Earth and Atmospheric Drag

The equations governing motion of the satellite under the effect of oblateness of Earth and atmospheric drag have been simulated, for a fixed initial position and three different initial velocities, till satellite collapses on Earth. Simulation of motion of artificial Earth satellite subject to the combined effects of oblate Earth and atmospheric drag is presented. The atmospheric model considered here takes in to account of exponential variation of the density with initial distance of Satellite from Earth's surface, scale height and radial distance. The minimum and maximum values of orbital elements and their variation over a time for different initial velocities have been reported.

Differentiability and optimality of a fuzzy function

In this article, we introduce a differentiability concept for fuzzy functions $\tilde{f}: F(\mathbb{R}) \to F(\mathbb{R})$, where $F(\mathbb{R})$ is the set of all fuzzy numbers. With the help of the proposed differentiability notion, we prove a necessary and sufficient condition for optimality to obtain a non-dominated solution of a fuzzy optimization problem.

Generalized Seikkala Differentiability and its Application to Fuzzy initial value problem

This paper proposes a new generalized Seikkala derivative (gS-derivative) of a fuzzy-valued function. We see that, there are many elementary fuzzy-valued functions which occur frequently as solution of fuzzy differential equation, are not Seikkala differentiable but they are generalized Seikkala differentiable. We discuss some of the properties of proposed differentiability. Using gS-differentiability, we find the solution of fuzzy initial value problem.

Non-dominated Solution of Fuzzy Maximum-Return Problem

In this paper, we find a non-dominated solution of a fuzzy maximum-return problem ( unconstrained single-variable fuzzy optimization problem ) . We establish Newton method to find the solution of the unconstrained single-variable fuzzy optimization problem using the differentiability of $α$-level functions of a fuzzy-valued function and partial order relation on a set of fuzzy numbers.

Solution of Fuzzy Growth and Decay Model

Mathematical modelling for population growth leads to a differential equation. In population growth model, we assume that rate increase of population is proportional to current population. That is, dx / dt = kx, x is a current population, k is proportionality constant represents growth rate. But in real situation, it is often ambiguous to determine exact amount of current population. It can be measured approximately. For instance, initially number of bacteria is approximately 20 and this approximate number can be represented using fuzzy number. Therefore, the appropriate growth or decay model is described using fuzzy concept. With this motivation, this paper presents solution of fuzzy growth and decay model. The solution is analysed using Seikkala differentiability of fuzzy-valued function.

Existence of Hukuhara differentiability of fuzzy-valued functions

In this paper, we discuss existence of Hukuhara differentiability of fuzzy-valued functions. Several examples are worked out to check that fuzzy-valued functions are one time, two times and n-times H-differentiable. We study the effects of fuzzy modelling on existence of Hukuhara differentiability of fuzzy-valued functions. We discuss existence of gH-differentiability and its comparison with H-differentiability.
