Two options for muon-proton collider at FNAL

We discuss a possibility to construct multi-TeV scale {\mu}p collider at FNAL. Main advantage of this project is existence of two ring tunnels tangential to each other. There are two possible options, namely, muons in main injector with protons in Tevatron ring and vice versa. Two choices are considered for center-of-mass energy values: 2.57 TeV using 8 T bending magnets and 5.10 TeV with 16 T magnets. It is shown that luminosity values exceeding 1033 cm-2s-1 can be achieved. It is obvious that {\mu}-FNAL will provide unique potential for both SM (especially QCD basics) and BSM searches, far beyond the eRHIC and LHeC capacities.

CutLang as an Analysis Description Language for Introducing Students to Analyses in Particle Physics

The fifth edition of the "Computing Applications in Particle Physics" school was held on 3-7 February 2020, at Istanbul University, Turkey. This particular edition focused on the processing of simulated data from the Large Hadron Collider collisions using an Analysis Description Language and its runtime interpreter called CutLang. 24 undergraduate and 6 graduate students were initiated to collider data analysis during the school. After 3 days of lectures and exercises, the students were grouped into teams of 3 or 4 and each team was assigned an analysis publication from ATLAS or CMS experiments. After 1.5 days of independent study, each team was able to reproduce the assigned analysis using CutLang.

The LHeC Project: e-Ring Revisited

Construction of a new 9 km long e-ring tangential to the LHC has been proposed as an option for QCD-Explorer stage of the LHeC. It is shown that L = 10^33 cm^-2s^-1 can be achieved with 90 MW synchrotron radiation losses.
