On the optimization of the magneto-plasma compressor power supply system

The work of the miniature magneto-plasma compressor with the low-voltage power supply system was studied experimentally and the current and discharge voltage drop were measured. It was found that the voltage drop (a few tens of volts) remains practically constant during discharge. Performed electrical analysis allowed to determine the power efficiency of the supply system depending on the initial capacitor voltage, the discharge voltage and circuit parameters (capacitance, inductance, resistance).

Experimental investigations of spatial distribution anisotropy of pulsed plasma generator radiation

Results of experimental investigation of plasma luminous emittance (integrated with respect to time and quartz transmission band spectrum) of a pulsed plasma generator depending on its axis spatial position, are presented. It is shown that the spatial distribution of plasma radiant intensity is of clearly anisotropic character, that is, there exists a cone of the plasma generator axial directions in which the radiation of plasma reaches its peak. A possible explanation of the results obtained is given based on a hypothesis of global anisotropy of space caused by the existence of a cosmological vectorial potential $\bf{A}_g$. It is shown that the vector $\bf{A}_g$ has the following coordinates in the second equatorial coordinate system: right ascension $α= 293^\circ \pm 10^\circ$, declination $δ= 36^\circ \pm 10^\circ$. The experimental results are in accordance with those of the earlier experiments on determining the direction of $\bf{A}_g$.
