Signatures of primordial black hole dark matter

The nonbaryonic dark matter of the Universe is assumed to consist of new stable forms of matter. Their stability reflects symmetry of micro world and mechanisms of its symmetry breaking. In the early Universe heavy metastable particles can dominate, leaving primordial black holes (PBHs) after their decay, as well as the structure of particle symmetry breaking gives rise to cosmological phase transitions, from which massive black holes and/or their clusters can originate. PBHs can be formed in such transitions within a narrow interval of masses about $10^{17}$g and, avoiding severe observational constraints on PBHs, can be a candidate for the dominant form of dark matter. PBHs in this range of mass can give solution of the problem of reionization in the Universe at the redshift $z\sim 5... 10$. Clusters of massive PBHs can serve as a nonlinear seeds for galaxy formation, while PBHs evaporating in such clusters can provide an interesting interpretation for the observations of point-like gamma-ray sources. Analysis of possible PBH signatures represents a universal probe for super-high energy physics in the early Universe in studies of indirect effects of the dark matter.

Stable branches of a solution for a fermion on domain wall

We discuss the case when a fermion occupies an excited non-zero frequency level in the field of domain wall. We demonstrate that a solution exists for the coupling constant in the limited interval $1<g<g_{max}\approx 1.65$. We show that indeed there are different branches of stable solution for $g$ in this interval. The first one corresponds to a fermion located on the domain wall ($1<g<\sqrt[4]{2π}$). The second branch, which belongs to the interval $\sqrt[4]{2π}\le g\le g_{max}$, describes a polarized fermion off the domain wall. The third branch with $1<g<g_{max}$ describes an excited antifermion in the field of the domain wall.

Example of a self-consistent solution for a fermion on domain wall

We discuss a self-consistent solution for a fermion coupled to static scalar field in the form of a kink (domain wall). In particular, we study the case when the fermion occupies an excited non-zero frequency level in the presence of the domain wall field. The effect of the domain wall profile distortion is calculated analytically.

Study of Stability of a Charged Topological Soliton in the System of Two Interacting Scalar Fields

An analytical-numerical analysis of the singular self-adjoint spectral problem for a system of three linear ordinary second-order differential equations defined on the entire real exis is presented. This problem comes to existence in the nonlinear field theory. The dependence of the differential equations on the spectral parameter is nonlinear, which results in a quadratic operator Hermitian pencil.

Perturbative approach to the hydrogen atom in strong magnetic field

The states of hydrogen atom with principal quantum number n <= 3 and zero magnetic quantum number in constant homogeneous magnetic field H are considered. The perturbation theory series is summed with the help of Borel transformation and conformal mapping of the Borel variable. Convergence of approximate energy eigenvalues and their agreement with corresponding existing results are observed for external fields up to n^3 H ~ 5. The possibility of restoring the asymptotic behaviour of energy levels using perturbation theory coefficients is also discussed.

On U(1)-charged domain walls

A classical field system of two interacting fields -- a real Higgs field and a complex scalar field -- is considered. It is shown that in such field system a non-trivial solution exists, which is U(1) charged topological kink. Some questions of stability of the obtained solution are discussed. An improved variational procedure for searching of topological U(1) charged solutions is given.

On decay of large amplitude bubble of disoriented chiral condensate

The time evolution of initially formed large amplitude bubble of disoriented chiral condensate (DCC) is studied. It is found that the evolution of this object may have a relatively long pre-decay stage. Simple explanation of such delay of the DCC bubble decay is given. This delay is related to the existence of the approximate solutions of multi-soliton type of the corresponding radial sine-Gordon equation in (3+1) dimensions at large bubble radius.

A remark on collisions of domain walls in a supersymmetric model

The process of collision of two parallel domain walls in a supersymmetric model is studied both in effective Lagrangian approximation and by numerical solving of the exact classical field problem. For small initial velocities we find that the walls interaction looks like elastic reflection with some delay. It is also shown that in such approximation internal parameter of the wall may be considered as a time-dependent dynamical variable.

Kink-antikink interactions in the double sine-Gordon equation and the problem of resonance frequencies

We studied the kink-antikink collision process for the "double sine-Gordon" (DSG) equation in 1+1 dimensions at different values of the potential parameter $R>0$. For small values of $R$ we discuss the problem of resonance frequencies. We give qualitative explanation of the frequency shift in comparison with the frequency of the discrete level in the potential well of isolated kink. We show that in this region of the parameter $R$ the effective long-range interaction between kink and antikink takes place.

Hydrogen atom in crossed external fields reexemined by the moment method

Recurrence relations of perturbation theory for hydrogen ground state are obtained. With their aid polarizabilities in constant perpendicular electric and magnetic fields are computed up to 80th order. The high orders asymptotic is compared with its quasiclassical estimate. For the case of arbitrary mutual orientation of external fields a general sixth order formula is given.

On decay of bubble of disoriented chiral condensate

We discuss the space-time structure for the process of decay of a bubble of hypothetic phase -- disoriented chiral condensate (DCC). The evolution of the initial classical field configuration corresponding to the bubble of DCC is studied both numerically and analytically. The process of decay of this initial configuration depends crucially on selfinteraction of the pionic fields. It is shown that in some cases this selfinteraction leads to the formation of sort of breather solution, formed from pionic fields situated in the center of the initial bubble of DCC. This breather looks like a long-lived source of pionic fields.

High orders of the perturbation theory for hydrogen atom in magnetic field

The states of hydrogen atom with principal quantum number $n\le3$ and zero magnetic quantum number in constant homogeneous magnetic field ${\cal H}$ are considered. The coefficients of energy eigenvalues expansion up to 75th order in powers of ${\cal H}^2$ are obtained for these states. The series for energy eigenvalues and wave functions are summed up to ${\cal H}$ values of the order of atomic magnetic field. The calculations are based on generalization of the moment method, which may be used in other cases of the hydrogen atom perturbation by a polynomial in coordinates potential.
