The Hyperon-Nucleon Interaction Potential in the Bound State Soliton Model: The $ΛN$ Case

We develop the formalism to study the hyperon-nucleon interaction potential within the bound state approach to the SU(3) Skyrme model. The general framework is illustrated by applying it to the diagonal $ΛN$ potential. The central, spin-spin and tensor components of this interaction are obtained and compared with those derived using alternative schemes.

Vibrational Aspects of the SU(2) Skyrmion

We treat the Skyrme model with the breathing mode in a situation involving two quartic terms. It is seen that there is a new limit for large $e$ due to the breathing mode not found in the usual rotating hedgehog.
