Convergent series for QCD

We present the construction of the convergent series for Quantum Chromodynamics in the Euclidean space. Applying the bosonization, we rewrite QCD as the five-dimensional bosonic vector field theory. Then, generalizing earlier results for the scalar field theories, we construct the desired convergent series, free from the infrared and ultraviolet divergences. As in the case of scalar fields the dimensional regularization is assumed to be valid.

Convergent perturbation theory for lattice models with fermions

The standard perturbation theory in QFT and lattice models leads to asymptotic expansions. However, an appropriate regularization of the path or lattice integrals allows one to construct convergent series with an infinite radius of the convergence. In the earlier studies this approach was applied to the purely bosonic systems. Here, using bosonization, we develop the convergent perturbation theory for a toy lattice model with interacting fermionic and bosonic fields.

Non-hermitian bosonization

A method for the bosonization of complex actions is presented. Together with the convergent perturbation theory it provides a conceptually new way for bypassing fermion sign problems.

Effective Chiral Symmetry Restoration for Heavy-Light Mesons

We study the spectrum of heavy-light mesons within a model with linear instantaneous confining potential. The single-quark Green function and spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry are obtained from the Schwinger-Dyson (gap) equation. For the meson spectrum we derive a Bethe-Salpeter equation (BSE). We solve thiss equation numerically in the heavy-light limit and obtain effective restoration of chiral and $U(1)_A$ symmetries at large spins.

How Chiral Symmetry Breaking Affects the Spectrum of the Light-Heavy Mesons in the 't Hooft Model

We find the spectrum and wave functions of the heavy-light mesons in $(1 + 1)$-dimensional QCD in the 't Hooft limit, both in the rest frame, using the Coulomb (axial) gauge, and on the light cone. Our emphasis is on the effects of chiral symmetry breaking on the spectrum. While dynamical equations in both cases look different, the results for the spectrum are identical. The chiral symmetry breaking is clearly seen from the gap and Bethe--Salpeter equations in the laboratory frame. At the same time, while vacuum is trivial on the light cone (no chiral condensate), the effects of the spontaneous breaking of the chiral symmetry manifest themselves in the same way, as it follows from the coincidence of the spectra obtained from the laboratory-frame Bethe--Salpeter equation on the one hand, and the light-cone 't Hooft-type equation on the other.

Chiral restoration phase transition within the quarkyonic matter

We overview a possible mechanism for confining but chirally symmetric matter at low temperatures and large densities. As a new development we employ a diffused quark Fermi surface and show that such diffusion does not destroy possible existence of a confining but chirally symmetric matter at low temperatures and large density.

Chirally symmetric and confining dense matter with a diffused quark Fermi surface

It is possible that at low temperatures and large density there exists a confining matter with restored chiral symmetry, just after the dense nuclear matter with broken chiral symmetry. Such a phase has sofar been studied within a confining and chirally symmetric model assuming a rigid quark Fermi surface. In the confining quarkyonic matter, however, near the Fermi surface quarks group into color-singlet baryons. Interaction between quarks leads to a diffusion of the quark Fermi surface. Here we study effects of such diffusion and verify that it does not destroy a possible existence of a confining but chirally symmetric matter at low temperatures.
