Asymptotic estimate for the number of Gaussian packets on three decorated graphs

We study a topological space obtained from a graph via replacing vertices with smooth Riemannian manifolds, i.e. a decorated graph. We construct a semiclassical asymptotics of the solutions of Cauchy problem for a time-dependent Schrödinger equation on a decorated graph with a localized initial function. The main term of our asymptotic solution at an arbitrary finite time is the sum of Gaussian packets and generalized Gaussian packets. We study the number of such packets as time goes to infinity. We prove asymptotic estimations for this number for the following decorated graphs: cylinder with a segment, two dimensional torus with a segment, three dimensional torus with a segment. Also we prove general theorem about a manifold with a segment and apply it to the case of a uniformly secure manifold.

How the permutation of edges of a metric graph affects the number of points moving along the edges

We consider a dynamical system on a metric graph, that corresponds to a semiclassical solution of a time-dependent Schrödinger equation. We omit all details concerning mathematical physics and work with a purely discrete problem. We find a weak inequality representation for the number of points coming out of the vertex of an arbitrary tree graph. We apply this construction to an "H-junction" graph. We calculate the difference between numbers of moving points corresponding to the permutation of edges. Then we find a symmetrical difference of the number of points moving along the edges of a metric graph.

The properties of the distribution of Gaussian packets on a spatial network

The article deals with the description of the statistical behavior of Gaussian packets on a metric graph. Semiclassical asymptotics of solutions of the Cauchy problem for the Schrödinger equation with initial data concentrated in the neighborhood of one point on the edge, generates a classical dynamical system on a graph. In a situation where all times for packets to pass over edges ("edge travel times") are linearly independent over the rational numbers, a description of the behavior of such systems is related to the number-theoretic problem of counting the number of lattice points in an expanding polyhedron. In this paper we show that for a finite compact graph packets almost always are distributed evenly. A formula for the leading coefficient of the asymptotic behavior of the number of packets with an increasing time is obtained. The article also discusses a situation where the times of passage over the edges are not linearly independent over the rationals.
