Embedding Factors for Branching in Hermitian Clifford Analysis

A step 2 branching decomposition of spaces of homogeneous Hermitian monogenic polynomials in C^n is established with explicit embedding factors in terms of the generalized Jacobi polynomials, which allows for an inductive construction of an orthogonal basis for those spaces. The embedding factors and the orthogonal bases are fully worked out in the complex dimension 2 case, with special interest for the Appell property.

Dunkl operators and a family of realizations of osp(1|2)

In this paper, a family of radial deformations of the realization of the Lie superalgebra osp(1|2) in the theory of Dunkl operators is obtained. This leads to a Dirac operator depending on 3 parameters. Several function theoretical aspects of this operator are studied, such as the associated measure, the related Laguerre polynomials and the related Fourier transform. For special values of the parameters, it is possible to construct the kernel of the Fourier transform explicitly, as well as the related intertwining operator.

The Cauchy-Kovalevskaya Extension Theorem in Hermitean Clifford Analysis

Hermitean Clifford analysis is a higher dimensional function theory centered around the simultaneous null solutions, called Hermitean monogenic functions, of two Hermitean conjugate complex Dirac operators. As an essential step towards the construction of an orthogonal basis of Hermitean monogenic polynomials, in this paper a Cauchy-Kovalevskaya extension theorem is established for such polynomials. The minimal number of initial polynomials needed to obtain a unique Hermitean monogenic extension is determined, along with the compatibility conditions they have to satisfy. The Cauchy-Kovalevskaya extension principle then allows for a dimensional analysis of the spaces of spherical Hermitean monogenics, i.e. homogeneous Hermitean monogenic polynomials. A version of this extension theorem for specific real-analytic functions is also obtained.

The Gelfand-Tsetlin bases for spherical monogenics in dimension 3

The main aim of this paper is to recall the notion of the Gelfand-Tsetlin bases (GT bases for short) and to use it for an explicit construction of orthogonal bases for the spaces of spherical monogenics (i.e., homogeneous solutions of the Dirac or the generalized Cauchy-Riemann equation, respectively) in dimension 3. In the paper, using the GT construction, we obtain explicit orthogonal bases for spherical monogenics in dimension 3 having the Appell property and we compare them with those constructed by the first and the second author recently (by a direct analytic approach).

Orthogonal basis for spherical monogenics by step two branching

Spherical monogenics can be regarded as a basic tool for the study of harmonic analysis of the Dirac operator in Euclidean space R^m. They play a similar role as spherical harmonics do in case of harmonic analysis of the Laplace operator on R^m. Fix the direct sum R^m = R^p x R^q. In this paper we will study the decomposition of the space M_n(R^m;C_m) of spherical monogenics of order n under the action of Spin(p) x Spin(q). As a result we obtain a Spin(p) x Spin(q)-invariant orthonormal basis for M_n(R^m;C_m). In particular, using the construction with p = 2 inductively, this yields a new orthonormal basis for the space M_n(R^m;C_m).

Grading of Spinor Bundles and Gravitating Matter in Non-Commutative Geometry

The gravitating matter is studied within the framework of the non-commutative geometry. The non-commutative Einstein-Hilbert action on the product of a four dimensional manifold with a discrete space gives the models of matter fields coupled to the standard Einstein gravity. The matter multiplet is encoded in the Dirac operator which yields the representation of the algebra of the universal forms. The general form of the Dirac operator depends on a choice of the grading of the corresponding spinor bundle. A choice is given, which leads to the nonlinear vector sigma-model coupled to the Einstein gravity.
