Transformations of mass/charges fission fragments spectra with consideration the postfission emission of nuclear particles: 232Th

The possibilities of the proposed statistical approach are shown in the task of investigating the post-scission transformation of mass and charge yields of fission fragments with considering the emission of different length of chains of elementary particles as the beta particles and neutrons fission. Using as the example the 232 Th isotope, which is located on the border between pre-actinide and actinides nuclei, the changes in the topology of fission fragments yields, the role of emission of nuclear particles in the competition of symmetric and asymmetric modes in fission processes are investigated. The proposed method allows one to determine the most probable two fission's fragments clusters, obtained in considering the different chain's length of emitted nuclear particles and the parameters of their stability. All these results are essential when interpreting the experimental data.

Energy Dependent Prompt Neutron Multiplicity Parameterization for Actinide Photofission

The prompt neutron averaged number and the dependence of prompt neutron yield on fragment mass ν(A) of photofission of actinide nuclei 235U and 238U in the giant dipole resonance energy range has been parameterized. This allows us to describe the observed changes of saw-tooth behavior of neutron yield from the light and heavy fragments using few energy and nucleon composition dependent free parameters and to predict ν(A) for other actinide isotopes.

Averaged number of prompt neutrons calculus for photo-fission of actinides

The empirical calculations of the prompt neutrons average number for photofission of the 232Th, 233U, 234U, 235U, 236U, 238U, 237Np, 239Pu and 241Am actinides has been done as a function of photon energy, mass and charge of the nuclei, which can be used to evaluate the average number for photo-fission of nuclides for which no or scarce data are available.

New Statistical Methods For Systematizing The Nuclei Fission Fragments: Post-Scission Approach

A new statistical method for systematizing the nuclei fission fragments, investigation of their mass and charge spectra and neutron fission parameters has been suggested. In proposed method, the mass and charge yields of nucleons are determined from the equilibrium conditions of the nuclear fragments post-fission ensemble. Here we consider protons and neutrons of different fragments as statistically non-equivalent. The abilities of the proposed statistical method for explanation of the U, Pa, Th, Ac and Ra post-fission fragments ordering and neutron emission function calculation have been demonstrated.
