On the contribution of the P and D partial-wave states to the binding energy of the triton in the Bethe-Salpeter-Faddeev approach

The influence of the partial-wave states with nonzero orbital moment of the nucleon pair on the binding energy of the triton in the relativistic case is considered. The relativistic generalization of the Faddeev equation in the Bethe-Salpeter formalism is applied. Two-nucleon t matrix is obtained from the Bethe-Salpeter equation with separable kernel of nucleon-nucleon interaction of the rank one. The kernel form factors are the relativistic type of the Yamaguchi functions. The following two-nucleon partial-wave states are considered: $^1S_0$, $^3S_1$, $^3D_1$, $^3P_0$, $^1P_1$, $^3P_1$. The system of the integral equations are solved by using the iteration method. The binding energy of the triton and three-nucleon amplitudes are found. The contribution of the P and D states to the binding energy of triton is given.

The rank-one separable interaction kernel for nucleon with scalar propagators

In the paper the covariant kernel of the nucleon-nucleon interaction of particles with scalar propagators is analyzed. The Bethe-Salpeter equation for the T matrix is considered in the rank- one separable kernel. The parameters of the kernel for the specific partial-wave channels explicitly connect with the observables { low energy scattering parameters and phase shifts, deuteron binding energy. Covariant separable kernels forthe partial-wave channels with total angular momentum J = 0 (1S0, 3P0) and J = 1 (3S1 -3D1, 1P1, 3P1) are constructed.

Relativistic three-nucleon calculations within the Bethe-Salpeter approach

The relativistic properties of the three-nucleon system are investigated using the Faddeev equations within the Bethe-Salpeter approach. The nucleon-nucleon interaction is chosen in a separable form. The Gauss quadrature method is used to calculate the integrals. The system of the integral equations are solving by iterations method. The binding energy and the partial-wave amplitudes (1S 0 and 3S 1) of the triton are found.

Nucleon form factors for the elastic electron-deuteron scattering at high momentum transfer

The reaction of the elastic electron-deuteron scattering at high momentum transfer is investigated within the Bethe-Salpeter approach. The relativistic covariant Graz II separable kernel of nucleon-nucleon interactions is used to analyze the deuteron structure functions, form factors and tensor of polarization components. The modern data for the electromagmetic nucleons structure from the double polarization experiments as well as some other models of the nucleon form factors are considered.

Final state interaction effects in exclusive electrodisintegration of the deuteron

The exclusive electrodisintegration of the deuteron is considered within the Bethe-Salpeter approach with a separable interaction kernel. The relativistic kernel of nucleon-nucleon interaction is obtained considering the phase shifts in the elastic neutron-proton scattering and properties of the deuteron. The differential cross section is calculated within the impulse approximation under several kinematic conditions of the Bonn experiment. Final state interactions between the outgoing nucleons are taken into account. Partial-wave states of the neutron-proton pair with total angular momentum J=0,1 are considered.

Final state interaction effects in electrodisintegration of the deuteron within the Bethe-Salpeter approach

The electrodisintegration of the deuteron is considered within a relativistic model of nucleon-nucleon interaction based on the Bethe-Salpeter approach with a separable interaction kernel. The exclusive cross section is calculated within the impulse approximation under various kinematic conditions. Final state interactions between the outgoing nucleons are taken into account. The comparison of nonrelativistic and relativistic calculations is presented. Partial-wave states of the neutron-proton pair with total angular momentum $J=0,1$ are considered.

Relativistic complex separable potential for describing the neutron-proton system in $^3S_1$-$^3D_1$ partial-wave state

Within a covariant Bethe-Salpeter approach the relativistic complex separable kernel of the neutron-proton interaction for the coupled $^3S_1^+$-$^3D_1^+$ partial-wave state is constructed. The rank-six separable potential elaborated earlier is real-valued, and therefore makes it possible to describe only the elastic part (phase shifts, low-energy parameters, deuteron properties, etc.) of the elastic neutron-proton scattering. The description of the inelasticity parameter comes out of the imaginary part introduced intthe potential. The complex potential parameters are obtained using the available elastic neutron-proton scattering experimental data up to 1.1 GeV.

Relativistic separable interaction kernel of the neutron-proton system with inelasticities

Within a covariant Bethe-Salpeter approach, the relativistic complex separable neutron-proton interaction kernel is proposed. The uncoupled partial-wave states with the total angular momentum $J$=0,1 are considered. The multirank separable potentials elaborated earlier are real-valued and, therefore, enable to describe the elastic part (phase shifts, low-energy parameters, etc.) of the scattering only. The description of the inelasticity parameter comes out of the imaginary part introduced into them. To obtain parameters of the complex potentials the elastic neutron-proton scattering experimental data up to 3 GeV are used. A signal of dybaryon resonances in the $^3P_0^+$ partial-wave state is discussed.

Covariant relativistic separable kernel approach for electrodisintegration of the deuteron at high momentum transfer

The paper considers the electrodisintegration of the deuteron for kinematic conditions of the JLab experiment E-94-019. The calculations have been performed within the covariant Bethe-Salpeter approach with a separable kernel of nucleon-nucleon interactions. The results have been obtained using the relativistic plane wave impulse approximation and compared with experimental data and other models. The influence of nucleon electromagnetic form factors has been investigated.

Covariant separable interaction for the neutron-proton system in $^3S_1$-$^3D_1$ partial-wave state

Within a covariant Bethe-Salpeter approach a rank-six separable neutron-proton interaction kernel for the triplet coupled $^3S_1$-$^3D_1$ partial-wave state is constructed. Two different methods of a relativistic generalization of initially nonrelativistic form factors parametrizing the kernel are considered. The model parameters are determined by fitting the elastic $^3S_1$ and $^3D_1$ phase shifts and the triplet scattering length as well as the asymptotic $D/S$ ratio of the deuteron wave functions and the deuteron binding energy. The $D$-state probability constraints 4-7\% are taken into account. The deuteron magnetic moment is calculated. The half-off-shell properties are further demonstrated by the Noyes-Kowalski functions. The first test of the constructed kernel is performed by calculating the deuteron electrodisintegration at three different kinematic conditions.

Relativistic multirank interaction kernels of the neutron-proton system

The multirank separable kernels of the neutron-proton interaction for uncoupled $S$ and $P$ partial waves (with the total angular momentum $J$=0,1) are proposed. Two different methods of a relativistic generalization of initially nonrelativistic form factors parametrizing the kernel are considered. Using the constructed kernels the experimental data for phase shifts in the elastic neutron-proton scattering for the laboratory energy up to 3 GeV and low-energy parameters are described. The comparison of our results with other model calculations are presented.

Extended Siegert Theorem in the Relativistic Investigation of the Deuteron Photodisintegration Reaction

The contribution of the two-body exchange current is investigated for the reaction of the deuteron photodisintegration in the framework of the Bethe-Salpeter formalism and with using extended Siegert theorem. This theorem allow to express the reaction amplitude in terms of extended electric and magnetic dipole moments of the system. The resultant analytical expression is faultless with respect to both translation and gauge invariance. It permits to perform calculations of the deuteron photodisintegration cross section and polarization observables taking into account two-body exchange current implicitly.

On the covariant relativistic separable kernel

Two different methods of the covariant relativistic separable kernel construction in the Bethe-Salpeter approach are considered. One of them leads in the center-of-mass system of two particles to the quasipotential equation. The constructed 4-dimensional covariant functions are used to reproduce neutron-proton phase shifts for total angular momenta $J=0,1$. Obtained results are compared with other model calculations.

The electrodisintegration of the deuteron in the frame of the Bethe-Salpeter approach with a separable kernel of the nucleon-nucleon interaction is considered. This conception keeps the covariance of a description of the process. A comparison of relativistic and nonrelativistic calculations is presented. The factorization of the cross section of the reaction in the impulse approximation is obtained by analytical calculations. It is shown that the photon-neutron interaction plays an important role.

On the electrodisintegration of the deuteron in the Bethe-Salpeter formalism

The (ed -> enp) process in the frame of the Bethe-Salpeter approach with a separable kernel of the Nucleon-Nucleon (NN) interaction was considered. This conception keeps the covariance of description of the process. Special attention was devoted to a contribution of the D-states of the deuteron in the cross section of the electrodisintegration. It was shown that the spectator particle (neutron) plays an important role. The factorization of a cross section of this reaction in the impulse approximation was checked by analytical and numerical calculations.

Interacting Vector Boson Model Analysis of the ^{160}Dy Excited States Spectrum

Analysis of the recently obtained experimental data for collective states of ^{160}Dy is presented. The Interacting Vector Boson Model (IVBM) was applied for the classification of low lying states with positive parity 0^{+},2^{+},4^{+},6^{+}and for description of rotational ground, S, γ and two octupole bands. The energies of the bands are reproduced with high accuracy using only one set of the model parameters for all bands.

Relativistic Contribution of the Final-State Interaction to Deuteron Photodisintegration

The contribution of the final-state interaction to the differential cross-section of deuteron photodisintegration at laboratory photon energies below 50 MeV is analyzed in the framework of Bethe-Salpeter formalism with a phenomenological rank-one separable interaction. The approximations made are the neglect of two-body exchange currents, negative-energy components of the bound-state vertex function and the scattering T matrix. It has been found that the gross effect of the final-state interaction with J=0,1 comes from the net contributions of the spin-triplet final states and spin-singlet (1S0+)-state. The relativistic results are compared with the nonrelativistic ones in every partial-wave channel. It is found that the relativistic effects change the magnitude of the final-state interaction from several percent to several tens of percent.
