In the present paper we establish the necessary and sufficient conditions for two generalized Abel differential equations to be locally equivalent under the action of the pseudogroup of linear transformations of the form $\{x\mapsto f(x),~ y\mapsto g(x)\cdot y + h(x)\}$. These conditions are formulated in terms of differential invariants.
In the present paper we consider the problem of local equivalence of second order ODEs which are cubic in second derivative under the action of the pseudogroup of contact transformations. We show how it may be reduced to the equivalence problem of 2-webs in $\mathbb{R}^3$ under the action of finite-dimensional group, admitted by the associated second order equation.
In the present paper we establish the necessary and sufficient conditions for two ordinary differential equations of the form $y"{}^2+A(x,y,y') y"+B(x,y,y')=0$ to be equivalent under the action of the pseudogroup of contact transformations. These conditions are formulated in terms of integrals of some one-dimensional distributions.
In the present paper, we study complete and vertical lifts of tensor fields from a smooth manifold $M$ to its Weil bundle $T^A M$ defined by a Frobenius Weil algebra $A$. For a Poisson manifold $(M,w)$, we show that the complete lift $w^C$ and the vertical lift $w^V$ of the Poisson tensor $w$ are Poisson tensors on $T^A M$ and establish their properties. We prove that the complete and the vertical lifts induce homomorphisms of the Poisson cohomology spaces. We compute the modular classes of the lifts of Poisson structures.
We show that the set of the equivalence classes of multifoliate structures is in one-to-one correspondence with the set of equivalence classes of finite complete projective systems of vector space epimorphisms. After that we give the complete description of all product preserving bundle functors on the categories of multifibered and multifoliate manifolds.
