On the derived DG functors

Assume that abelian categories $A, B$ over a field admit countable direct limits and that these limits are exact. Let $F: D^+_{dg}(A) --> D^+_{dg}(B)$ be a DG quasi-functor such that the functor $Ho(F): D^+(A) \to D^+(B)$ carries $D^{\geq 0}(A)$ to $D^{\geq 0}(B)$ and such that, for every $i>0$, the functor $H^i F: A \to B$ is effaceable. We prove that $F$ is canonically isomorphic to the right derived DG functor $RH^0(F)$. We also prove a similar result for bounded derived DG categories in a more general setting. We give an example showing that the corresponding statements for triangulated functors are false. We prove a formula that expresses Hochschild cohomology of the categories $ D^b_{dg}(A)$, $ D^+_{dg}(A) $ as the $Ext$ groups in the abelian category of left exact functors $A \to Ind B$ .

Integrality theorems in the theory of topological strings

We give a simplified derivation of the expression of instanton numbers and of mirror map in terms of Frobenius map on p-adic cohomology and use this expression to prove integrality theorems. Modifying this proof we verify that the Aganagic-Vafa formulas for the number of holomorphic disks can be expressed in terms of Frobenius map on p-adic relative cohomology; this expression permits us to prove integrality of this number.

Frobenius transformation, mirror map and instanton numbers

We show that one can express Frobenius transformation on middle-dimensional p-adic cohomology of Calabi-Yau threefold in terms of mirror map and instanton numbers. We express the mirror map in terms of Frobenius transformation on p-adic cohomology . We discuss a $p$-adic interpretation of the conjecture about integrality of Gopakumar-Vafa invariants.

Nonabelian Hodge Theory in Characteristic p

Given a scheme in characteristic p together with a lifting modulo p^2, we construct a functor from a category of suitably nilpotent modules with connection to the category of Higgs modules. We use this functor to generalize the decomposition theorem of Deligne-Illusie to the case of de Rham cohomology with coefficients.

Integrality of instanton numbers and p-adic B-model

We study integrality of instanton numbers (genus zero Gopakumar - Vafa invariants) for quintic and other Calabi-Yau manifolds. We start with the analysis of the case when the moduli space of complex structures is one-dimensional; later we show that our methods can be used to prove integrality in general case. We give an expression of instanton numbers in terms of Frobenius map on $p$-adic cohomology ; the proof of integrality is based on this expression.

Hodge structure on the fundamental group and its application to p-adic integration

We study the unipotent completion $Π^{DR}_{un}(x_0, x_1, X_K)$ of the de Rham fundamental groupoid [De] of a smooth algebraic variety over a local non-archimedean field K of characteristic 0. We show that the vector space $Π^{DR}_{un}(x_0, x_1, X_K)$ possesses a distinguished element. In the other words, given a vector bundle E on $X_K$ together with a unipotent integrable connection, we have {\sf a canonical} isomorphism $E_{x_0}\simeq E_{x_1}$ between the fibers. The latter construction is a generalization of Colmez's p-adic integration (rk E=2) and Coleman's p-adic iterated integrals ($X_K$ is a curve with good reduction). In the second part we prove that, if $X_{K_0}$ is a smooth variety over an unramified extension of $\mathbb{Q}_p$ with good reduction and $r \leq \frac{p-1}{2}$ then there is a canonical isomorphism $Π^{DR}_{r}(x_0, x_1, X_{K_0})\otimes B_{DR} \simeq Π^{et}_{r}(x_0, x_1, X_{\overline K_0}) \otimes B_{DR}$ compatible with the action of Galois group (Here $Π^{DR}_{r}(x_0, x_1, X_{K_0})$ is the level r quotient of $Π^{DR}_{un}(x_0, x_1, X_K)$). In particularly, it implies the Crystalline Conjecture for the fundamental group [Shiho] (for $r \leq \frac{p-1}{2}$) .
