Periods of Quadratic Twists of Elliptic Curves
In this paper we prove a relation between the period of an elliptic curve and the period of its real and imaginary quadratic twists. This relation is often misstated in the literature.

In this paper we prove a relation between the period of an elliptic curve and the period of its real and imaginary quadratic twists. This relation is often misstated in the literature.
Let $\mathbb{Q}(α)$ and $\mathbb{Q}(β)$ be algebraic number fields. We describe a new method to find (if they exist) all isomorphisms, $\mathbb{Q}(β) \rightarrow \mathbb{Q}(α)$. The algorithm is particularly efficient if the number of isomorphisms is one.
