On the discrete analogues of Appell function $F_4$

In this paper, we study the Appell function $F_4$ from discrete point of view. In particular, we obtain regions of convergence, difference-differential equations, finite and infinite summation formulas and a list of recursion relations satisfied by the discrete analogues of Appell function $F_4$.

On the discrete analogues of Appell function $F_3$

The present paper is devoted to the study of Appell hypergeometric function $F_3$ from discrete point of view. We mainly introduce two generalized discrete forms of $F_3$ and study their basic properties \emph{viz.} regions of convergence, difference-differential equations, integral representations, finite and infinite sums, recursion formulae, to name a few.

On the discrete analogues of Appell function $F_2$

In this paper, we introduce two distinct discrete forms of Appell function $F_2$. We determine their convergence domains, integral representations as well as difference-differential equations that are satisfied by these discrete analogues of $F_2$. We have also obtained the difference-differential formulas, finite and infinite summation formulas, and a complete list of difference-differential recursion relations obeyed by these discrete functions.

On the discrete analogues of Appell function $F_1$

In the present paper, two discrete forms of Appell function $F_1$ are introduced and studied. We examine the first discrete form in detail and give the results directly for the second. We study their regions of convergence, differential properties, integral representations, recursion relations, finite and infinite sums. The results and identities obtained in the paper are believed to be new and may find applications in various branches of science.

A note on the Lauricella matrix functions

In this paper, we study the solutions of the system of bilateral type matrix differential equations and presented these solutions in terms of Lauricella hypergeometric matrix functions of several variables and Srivastava's triple hypergeometric matrix functions of three variables. We also discuss the region of convergence and integral representation for these matrix functions.

On the recursion formulas for the matrix special functions of one and two variables

Special matrix functions have recently been investigated for regions of convergence, integral representations and the systems of matrix differential equation that these functions satisfy. In this paper, we find the recursion formulas for the Gauss hypergeometric matrix function. We also give the recursion formulas for the two variable Appell matrix functions
