Phase transition for gluon field: a qualitative analysis

The phase transition for SU(3) gauge field (without quarks) is considered. It is shown that the phase transition is due to the fact that at high temperatures the partition function should be calculated as for a gas of gluons, whereas at low temperatures as the sum over energy levels of correlated quantum states of SU(3) gauge field. A correlated quantum state for strongly interacting fields is defined as a nonperturbative quantum state of strongly interacting fields. The energy spectrum of these quantum states are discrete one. A lower bound of the phase transition temperature by comparing of the average energy for the perturbative and nonperturbative regimes is estimated (for glueball being in thermal equilibrium with the thermostat). It is shown that this quantity is associated with a mass gap. In a scalar model of glueball its energy is calculated. It is shown that this energy is the mass gap. If we set the glueball mass $ \approx 1.5 \cdot 10^3$ Mev then it is found that the corresponding value of coupling constant lies in the nonperturbative region.

Self-maintaining defect/droplets from two interacting Bose-Einstein condensates

We consider two interacting Bose-Einstein condensates (BEC's) with different kind of the potential energy of interaction of the condensates: (a) the standard potential; (b) the potential has a positive three-body and a negative two-body scattering terms and (c) the potential has a positive four-body and a negative three-body scattering terms for the first BEC and a positive three-body and a negative two-body scattering terms for the second BEC. It is shown that in these cases there exist regular spherically symmetric solutions. Physically such solution is either a defect or a droplet created by the condensates. The defect is a cavity filled with one BEC on the background of another BEC. The droplet is an object on the background of the empty space. For (a) and (b) cases the obtained objects are supported by a constant external trapping potential and for (c) case the droplet is a self-maintaining object without any external potential. The possibility of construction of an elementary logic qubit device on the basis of this droplet is discussed.

Mixed neutron-star-plus-wormhole systems: Equilibrium configurations

We study gravitationally bound, spherically symmetric equilibrium configurations consisting of ordinary (neutron-star) matter and of a phantom/ghost scalar field which provides the nontrivial topology in the system. For such mixed configurations, we show the existence of static, regular, asymptotically flat general relativistic solutions. Based on the energy approach, we discuss the stability as a function of the core density of the neutron matter for various sizes of the wormhole throat.

Dynamical $F(R)$ gravities

It is offered that $F(R)-$modified gravities can be considered as nonperturbative quantum effects arising from Einstein gravity. It is assumed that nonperturbative quantum effects gives rise to the fact that the connection becomes incompatible with the metric, the metric factors and the square of the connection in Einstein - Hilbert Lagrangian have nonperturbative additions. In the simplest approximation both additions can be considered as functions of one scalar field. The scalar field can be excluded from the Lagrangian obtaining $F(R)-$gravity. The essence of quantum correction to the affine connection as a torsion is discussed.

Canonical conjugated Dirac equation in a curved space

It is shown that the calculation of Dirac operator for the spherical coordinate system with spherical Dirac matrices and using the spin connection formalism is in the contradiction with the definition of standard Dirac operator in the spherical Minkowski coordinate system. It is shown that such contradiction one can avoid by introducing a canonical conjugated covariant derivative for the spinor field. The Dirac equation solution on the Reissner - Nordström background is obtained. The solution describes a bound state of a charged particle.

Nonperturbative quantization technique for QCD

Heisenberg nonperturbative quantization technique for quantum chromodynamics is applied. In such approach the nonperturbative quantization is based on Yang - Mills equations applied for the quantum field operator $\hat A^B_μ$. It is shown that such equation is equivalent to an infinite equations set for all Green functions. Various approximate methods for solving the infinite equations set are discussed.

SU(3) glueball gluon condensate

In a scalar approximation the distribution of a gluon condensate in a glueball is calculated. In this approximation the SU(3) gauge fields are separated on two parts: (1) is the $SU(2) \subset SU(3)$ subgroup, (2) is the coset $SU(3) / SU(2)$. Using an approximate nonperturbative quantization technique two scalar fields are applied for the description of the SU(2) and coset degrees of freedom. In this approach 2-point Green's functions are a bilinear combination of scalar fields and 4-point Green's functions are the product of 2-points Green's functions.

Nonperturbative quantum corrections

A nonperturbative quantization procedure based on a nonassociative decomposition of quantum field operators on nonassociative constituents is considered. It is shown that such approach gives rise to quantum corrections by calculations of expectation values of nonlinear functions of field operators. The corrections can in principle be measured as a radius of a force, characteristic length of nonlocal objects, the failure of connection compatibility with metric, and so on. The system of gravity interacting with Maxwell electromagnetism is considered. It is shown that quantum corrections from gravitoelectric coupling of a certain form leads to vanishing singularities of a point charge, including infinite self-energy.

Gluon field distribution between three infinitely spaced quarks

The gluon field distribution between three infinitely spaced quarks is obtained. The field distribution between every pair is approximated by an infinite flux tube filled with a color longitudinal electric field. The origin of the color electric field is a nonlinear term in the field strength of nonabelian gauge field. Such construction can be considered as a rough model of three quarks in a nucleon.

On the stability of spherically symmetric and wormhole solutions supported by the sine-Gordon ghost scalar field

In this paper we investigate wormhole and spherically symmetric solutions in 4D gravity plus a matter source consisting of a ghost scalar field with a sine-Gordon potential. For the wormhole solutions we also include the possibility of electric and/or magnetic charges. For both types of solutions we perform a linear stability analysis and show that the wormhole solutions are stable and that when one turns on the electric and/or magnetic field the solution remains stable. The linear stability analysis of the spherically symmetric solutions indicates that they can be stable or unstable depending on one of the parameters of the system. This result for the spherically symmetric solution is nontrivial since a previous investigation of 4D gravity plus a ghost scalar field with a $λϕ^4$ interaction found only unstable spherically symmetric solutions. Both the wormhole and spherically symmetric solutions presented here asymptotically go to anti-de-Sitter space-time.

Stochastic Einstein equations

Stochastic Einstein equations are considered when 3D space metric $γ_{ij}$ are stochastic functions. The probability density for the stochastic quantities is connected with the Perelman's entropy functional. As an example, the Friedman Universe is considered. It is shown that for the Friedman Universe the dynamical evolution is not changed. The connection between general relativity and Ricci flows is discussed.

Thick brane solutions

This article gives a comprehensive review on thick brane solutions and related topics. Such models have attracted much attention from many aspects since the birth of the brane world scenario. In many works, it has been usually assumed that a brane is an infinitely thin object; however in more general situations, one can no longer assume this. It is also widely considered that more fundamental theories such as string theory would have a minimal length scale. Many multidimensional field theories coupled to gravitation have exact solutions of gravitating topological defects, which can represent our brane world. The inclusion of brane thickness can realize a variety of possible brane world models. Given our understanding, the known solutions can be classified into topologically non-trivial solutions and trivial ones. The former class contains solutions of a single scalar (domain walls), multi-scalar, gauge-Higgs (vortices), Weyl gravity and so on. As an example of the latter class, we consider solutions of two interacting scalar fields. Approaches to obtain cosmological equations in the thick brane world are reviewed. Solutions with spatially extended branes (S-branes) and those with an extra time-like direction are also discussed.

Spinor brane

The thick brane model supported by a nonlinear spinor field is constructed. The different cases with the various values of the cosmological constant $Λ(< = >) 0$ are investigated. It is shown that regular analytical spinor thick brane solutions with asymptotically Minkowski (at $Λ=0$) or anti-de Sitter spacetimes (at $Λ<0$) do exist.

Flux tube in turbulent flow and quantum chromodynamics

Using some assumptions about the correlation function of velocity in a turbulent flow, a cylindrically symmetric tube-like solution is obtained. It is proposed that this turbulent flow is similar to a flux tube in quantum chromodynamics. Using similar assumptions for quantum chromodynamics, a flux tube filled with a color electric field is obtained. The connection between turbulence theory and quantum chromodynamics is discussed.

A nonassociative operator decomposition of strongly interacting quantum fields

Working towards an algebra for operators of strongly interacting quantum fields, a nonassociative decomposition of field operators is proposed. In the demonstrated case, quantum corrections appear from the possible bracket permutations. A similarity of these corrections, as compared to corrections from dimensional transmutation, is considered.
