Phantom fields: bounce solutions in the early Universe and S-branes

The cosmological model with two phantom scalar fields with the special choice of field's potential is considered. The obtained regular solution describes a bounce with a subsequent transition to the de Sitter stage of the expansion of the Universe. This solution also could be interpreted as a S-brane solution.

Observables and unobservables in a non-associative quantum theory

It is shown that the non-associative operators in a non-associative quantum theory are unobservables. The observable quantity may be presented only by the elements of some associative subalgebra. It is shown that the elements of the associative subalgebra are extended objects that can be similar to strings. It is assumed that the non-associative quantum field theory can be applied to the quantization of strongly interacting fields. The method for obtaining field equations in a non-associative case is given.

Spin-charge separation for the SU(3) gauge theory

The idea of a spin-charge separation of the SU(2) gauge potential is extended to the SU(3) case. It is shown that in this case there exist different non-perturbative ground states characterized by different gauge condensate $A^B_μA^B_μ\neq 0$.

Color defects in a gauge condensate

The model of an approximate non-perturbative calculations in the SU(3) gauge theory is offered. This approach is based on the separation of initial degrees of freedom on ordered and disordered phases. The ordered phase is almost classical degrees of freedom, the disordered phase is completely quantum degrees of freedom. Using some approximations and simplifications for 2 and 4-points Green's functions an effective Lagrangian describing both phases from the SU(3) Lagrangian is obtained. The calculations show that ordered phase is squeezed by disordered phase into defects. These defects are: an infinite flux tube filled with longitudinal color electric and magnetic fields; a color electric hedgehog; a defect having either two color electric dipoles + two color magnetic dipoles or two color electric dipoles or two color magnetic dipoles. It assumed that the color defects are quantum excitations in a gauge condensate. The equations for the disordered phase are an analog of Ginzburg - Landau equation.

Non-associative slave-boson decomposition

The operator constraint $f_{i\uparrow}^\dagger f_{i\uparrow} + f_{i\downarrow}^\dagger f_{i\downarrow} + b^\dagger_{i} b_{i}= 1$ in t-J model of High-T$_c$ superconductivity is considered. It is shown that the constraint can be resolved by introdusing a non-associative operator. In this case the constraint is an antiassociative generating relation of a new algebra. Similar constraint is offered for splitting the gluon.

Glueball filled with the quark field as a model of nucleon

On the basis of the non-perturbative Heisenberg's quantization scheme and using some simplifications and assumptions the reduction from the gluon-quark Lagrangian to a scalar-fermion Lagrangian is made. The corresponding field equations have a regular spherically symmetric solution which can be interpret as a simplified model of nucleon. Some properties of such "nucleon" are discused: the presence of a mass gap and spin $\neq \hbar /2$. The mass gap describes the difference between the "nucleon" and the "nucleon" without quark field (a scalar glueball). The presence of spin $\neq \hbar /2$ can be connected with the spin problem of nucleon.

Confinement of the Field Angular Momentum

It is shown that the quantum SU(3) gauge theory can be approximately reduced to U(1) gauge theory with broken gauge symmetry and interacting with scalar fields. The scalar fields are some approximation for 2 and 4-points Green's functions of $A^{1, ..., 7}_μ$ gauge potential components. Remaining gauge potential component $A^8_μ$ is the potential for U(1) Abelian gauge theory. It is shown that reduced field equations have a regular solution. The solution presents a quantum bag in which $A^8_μ$ color electromagnetic field is confined. This field produces a field angular momentum which can be equal to $\hbar$. It is supposed that the obtained solution can be considered as a model of glueball with spin $\hbar$. In this model the glueball has an asymmetry. The same asymmetry can have the nucleon that may be measured experimentally.

Colorless operators in a non-associative quantum theory

The associators/antiassociators for the product of four non-associative operators are deduced. By analogy with SU(3) gauge theory the notion of colorless (white) operators is introduced. Some properties of white operators are considered. It is hypothesized that white operators do not give any contribution to corresponding associators/antiassociators. It is suggested that the observables in a non-associative quantum theory correspond to the white operators only.

Gravitational Model of the String

It is shown that an infinite gravitational flux tube solution in 5D Kaluza-Klein gravity with the cross section in the Planck region after $5D \to 4D$ reduction and isometrical embedding in a Minkowski spacetime can be considered as a moving infinite string-like object. Such object has a flux of the electric and magnetic fields. The 4D gravitational waves on the tube are considered.

Hamilton's equations in a non-associative quantum theory

A new non-associative algebra for the quantization of strongly interacting fields is proposed. The full set of quantum $(\pm)$associators for the product of three operators is offered. An algorithm for the calculation of some $(\pm)$associators for the product of some four operators is offered. The possible generalization of Hamilton's equations for a non-associative quantum theory is proposed. Some arguments are given that a non-associative quantum theory can be a fundamental unifying theory.

A non-associative quantum mechanics

A non-associative quantum mechanics is proposed in which the product of three and more operators can be non-associative one. The multiplication rules of the octonions define the multiplication rules of the corresponding operators with quantum corrections. The self-consistency of the operator algebra is proved for the product of three operators. Some properties of the non-associative quantum mechanics are considered. It is proposed that some generalization of the non-associative algebra of quantum operators can be helpful for understanding of the algebra of field operators with a strong interaction.

5D Kaluza-Klein gravity: singularuty and freezing of $5^{th}$ dimension

Some reasonings are presented that the problem of a singularity in general relativity with the problem of freezing of the $5^{th}$ dimension can be connected. It is shown that some solutions in the 5D Kaluza-Klein gravity with the cross section in the Planck region have a region $(\approx l_{Pl})$ where the metric signature changes from $\{+,-,-,-,- \}$ to $\{-,-,-,-,+ \}$. The idea is discussed that such switching can not occur following some general point of view that the Planck length is the minimal length in the nature and consequently the physical quantities can not change very quickly in the course of this length. In this case the dynamic of the $G_{55}$ metric component should be frozen.

Soft singularity and the fundamental length

It is shown that some regular solutions in 5D Kaluza-Klein gravity may have interesting properties if one from the parameters is in the Planck region. In this case the Kretschman metric invariant runs up to a maximal reachable value in nature, i.e. practically the metric becomes singular. This observation allows us to suppose that in this situation the problems with such soft singularity will be much easier resolved in the future quantum gravity then by the situation with the ordinary hard singularity (Reissner-Nordström singularity, for example). It is supposed that the analogous consideration can be applied for the avoiding the hard singularities connected with the gauge charges.

Pure quantum freezing of the 5$^{th}$ dimension

It is shown that superthin and superlong gravitational flux tube solutions in the 5D Kaluza-Klein gravity have the region $(\approx l_{Pl})$ where the metric signature changes from $\{+,-,-,-,- \}$ to $\{-,-,-,-,+ \}$. Such change is too quickly from one of the paradigms of quantum gravity which tells that the Planck length is the minimal length in the nature and consequently the physical quantities can not change very quickly in the course of this length. For avoiding such dynamic it is supposed that a pure quantum freezing of the dynamic of the $5^{th}$ dimension takes place. As the continuation of the flux tube metric in the longitudinal direction the Reissner-Nordström metric is proposed. In the consequence of such construction one can avoid the appearance of a point-like singularity in the extremal Reissner-Nordström solution.

Nonperturbative calculations in SU(3) gauge theory

An approximate technique for performing nonperturbative calculations in quantum SU(3) gauge theory is presented. One aspect of this nonperturbative method is the breaking down $SU(3) \to SU(2) + coset$. The procedure also uses some aspects of an old method by Heisenberg to calculate the n-point Green's function of strongly interacting, non-linear fields. Using these ideas we give approximate calculations of the 2 and 4-points Green's functions.

Ginzburg - Landau equation from SU(2) gauge field theory

The dual superconductor picture of the QCD vacuum is thought to describe various aspects of the strong interaction including confinement. Ordinary superconductivity is described by the Ginzburg-Landau (GL) equation. In the present work we show that it is possible to arrive at a GL-like equation from pure SU(2) gauge theory. This is accomplished by using Abelian projection to split the SU(2) gauge fields into an Abelian subgroup and its coset. The two gauge field components of the coset part act as the effective, complex, scalar field of the GL equation. The Abelian part of the SU(2) gauge field is then analogous to the electromagnetic potential in the GL equation. An important aspect of the dual superconducting model is for the GL Lagrangian to have a spontaneous symmetry breaking potential, and the existence of Nielsen-Olesen flux tube solutions. Both of these require a tachyonic mass for the effective scalar field. Such a tachyonic mass term is obtained from the condensation of ghost fields.
