Non-existence of negative derivations on the higher Nash blowup local algebra

Let $f\in\mathbb{C}[x_1,\ldots,x_s]$ be a weighted homogeneous polynomial having an isolated singularity and $\mathcal{T}_n(f)$ be its higher Nash blowup local algebra. We show that $\mathcal{T}_n(f)$ does not admit negative weighted derivations for $n\geq2$. This answers affirmatively a conjecture of Hussain-Ma-Yau-Zuo.

On $F$-thresholds of differential power filtrations

We study the $F$-threshold of differential power filtrations of monomial ideals. We give the existence of this number and show that it is upper bounded by the maximum height of the minimal primes of the underlying monomial ideal. As an application of our results, we show that the dimension of the polynomial ring and the $F$-threshold of the differential power filtration of the monomial maximal ideal are the same.

Higher Jacobian matrix of weighted homogeneous polynomials and derivation algebras

We prove that the ideal generated by the maximal minors of the higher-order Jacobian matrix of a weighted homogeneous polynomial is also weighted homogeneous. As an application, we give a partial answer to a conjecture concerning the non-existence of negative weight derivations on the higher Nash blowup local algebra of a hypersurface.

$F$-pure thresholds and $F$-Volumes of some non principal ideals

We compute the $F$-pure threshold of some non-principal ideals which satisfy a geometric generic condition about their Newton polyhedron. We also contribute some evidence in favor of the conjectured equality between the $F$-pure threshold and the log canonical threshold of ideals for infinitely many primes $p$. These results are obtained by generalizing the theory of splitting polytopes to the case of ideals. As an application of our results we obtain geometric lower bounds for the recently introduced $F$-volume of a collection of ideals.

$F$-Volumes

In this work we define a numerical invariant called $F$-volume. This number extends the definition of $F$-threshold of a pair of ideals $I$ and $J$, $c^J(I)$ to a sequence of ideals $J$, $I_1, \ldots, I_t$. We obtain several properties that emulate those of the $F$-threshold. In particular, the $F$-volume detects $F$-pure complete intersections. In addition, we relate this invariant to the Hilbert-Kunz multiplicity.

$F$-Invariants of Stanley-Reisner Rings

In prime characteristic there are important invariants that allow us to measure singularities. For certain cases, it is known that they are rational numbers. In this article, we show this property for Stanley-Reisner rings in several cases.
