Multigluon tree amplitudes with a pair of massive fermions

We consider the calculation of n-point multigluon tree amplitudes with a pair of massive fermions in QCD. We give the explicit transformation rules of this kind of massive fermion-pair amplitudes with respect to different reference momenta and check the correctness of them by SUSY Ward identities. Using these rules and onshell BCFW recursion relation, we calculate the analytic results of several n-point multigluon amplitudes.

Entropy Bound with Generalized Uncertainty Principle in General Dimensions

In this letter, the entropy bound for local quantum field theories (LQFT) is studies in a class of models of the generalized uncertainty principle(GUP) which predicts a minimal length as a reflection of the quantum gravity effects. Both bosonic and fermionic fields confined in arbitrary spatial dimension $d\geq4$ ball ${\cal B}^{d}$ are investigated. It is found that the GUP leads to the same scaling $A_{d-2}^{(d-3)/(d-2)}$ correction to the entropy bound for bosons and fermions, although the coefficients of this correction are different for each case. Based on our calculation, we conclude that the GUP effects can become manifest at the short distance scale. Some further implications and speculations of our results are also discussed.

Microcausality of spin-induced noncommutative theories

In this brief report, the microcausility of quantum field theory on spin-induced noncom- mutative spacetime is discussed. It is found that for spacelike seperation the microcausality is not obeyed by the theory generally. It means that Lorentz covariance can not guaran- tee microcausality in quantum field thoery. We also give some comments about quantum field thoeries on such noncommutative spacetime and the relations between noncommutative spacetime and causality.

Higgsstrahlung and pair production in $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision in the noncommutative standard model

The higgsstrahlung process $e^+e^-\to Z H$ and pair production process $e^+e^- \to H H$ are studied in the framework of the minimal noncommutative (NC) standard model. In particular, the Feynman rules involving all orders of the noncommutative parameter $θ$ are derived using reclusive formation of Seiberg-Witten map. It is shown that the total cross section and angular distribution can be significantly affected because of spacetime noncommutativity when the collision energy exceeds to 1 \tev. It is found that in each process, there is an optimal collision energy ($E_{oc}$) for achieving the greatest noncommutative effect, and $E_{oc}$ varies linearly with the NC scale $Λ_{NC}$. A brief discussion on the process $e^+e^- \toμ^+ μ^-$ is also given.
