MEC Task Offloading in AIoT: A User-Centric DRL Model Splitting Inference Scheme

With the rapid development of the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), mobile edge computing (MEC) becomes an essential technology underpinning AIoT applications. However, multi-angle resource constraints, multi-user task competition, and the complexity of task offloading decisions in dynamic MEC environments present new technical challenges. Therefore, a user-centric deep reinforcement learning (DRL) model splitting inference scheme is proposed to address the problem. This scheme combines model splitting inference technology and designs a UCMS_MADDPG-based offloading algorithm to realize efficient model splitting inference responses in the dynamic MEC environment with multi-angle resource constraints. Specifically, we formulate a joint optimization problem that integrates resource allocation, server selection, and task offloading, aiming to minimize the weighted sum of task execution delay and energy consumption. We also introduce a user-server co-selection algorithm to address the selection issue between users and servers. Furthermore, we design an algorithm centered on user pre-decision to coordinate the outputs of continuous and discrete hybrid decisions, and introduce a priority sampling mechanism based on reward-error trade-off to optimize the experience replay mechanism of the network. Simulation results show that the proposed UCMS_MADDPG-based offloading algorithm demonstrates superior overall performance compared with other benchmark algorithms in dynamic environments.

Robust Learning Based Condition Diagnosis Method for Distribution Network Switchgear

This paper introduces a robust, learning-based method for diagnosing the state of distribution network switchgear, which is crucial for maintaining the power quality for end users. Traditional diagnostic models often rely heavily on expert knowledge and lack robustness. To address this, our method incorporates an expanded feature vector that includes environmental data, temperature readings, switch position, motor operation, insulation conditions, and local discharge information. We tackle the issue of high dimensionality through feature mapping. The method introduces a decision radius to categorize unlabeled samples and updates the model parameters using a combination of supervised and unsupervised loss, along with a consistency regularization function. This approach ensures robust learning even with a limited number of labeled samples. Comparative analysis demonstrates that this method significantly outperforms existing models in both accuracy and robustness.

Gevrey class smoothing effect for the Prandtl equation

It is well known that the Prandtl boundary layer equation is instable, and the well-posedness in Sobolev space for the Cauchy problem is an open problem. Recently, under the Oleinik's monotonicity assumption for the initial datum, [1] have proved the local well-posedness of Cauchy problem in Sobolev space (see also [21]). In this work, we study the Gevrey smoothing effects of the local solution obtained in [1]. We prove that the Sobolev's class solution belongs to some Gevrey class with respect to tangential variables at any positive time.

The Gevrey hypoellipticity for kinetic equations

In this paper, we study the Gevrey regularity of weak solutions for a class of linear and semi-linear kinetic equations, which are the linear model of spatially inhomogeneous Boltzmann equations without an angular cutoff.
