Homological mirror symmetry for log Calabi-Yau surfaces

Given a log Calabi-Yau surface $Y$ with maximal boundary $D$ and distinguished complex structure, we explain how to construct a mirror Lefschetz fibration $w: M \to \mathbb{C}$, where $M$ is a Weinstein four-manifold, such that the directed Fukaya category of $w$ is isomorphic to $D^b \text{Coh}(Y)$, and the wrapped Fukaya category $D^b\mathcal{W} (M)$ is isomorphic to $D^b \text{Coh}(Y \backslash D)$. We construct an explicit isomorphism between $M$ and the total space of the almost-toric fibration arising in the work of Gross-Hacking-Keel; when $D$ is negative definite this is expected to be the Milnor fibre of a smoothing of the dual cusp of $D$. We also match our mirror potential $w$ with existing constructions for a range of special cases of $(Y,D)$, notably in work of Auroux-Katzarkov-Orlov and Abouzaid.

Crepant Transformation Conjecture For the Grassmannian Flop

We prove an explicit form of the Crepant Transformation Conjecture for Grassmannian flops. Our approach uses abelianization to first relate the restrictions of the Lagrangian cones to degree-2 classes, and then deduces the general result using ``explicit reconstruction'' (also known as the method of big I-functions).

Mirrors to Del Pezzo Surfaces and the Classification of $T$-Polygons

We give a new geometric proof of the classification of $T$-polygons, a theorem originally due to Kasprzyk, Nill and Prince, using ideas from mirror symmetry. In particular, this gives a completely geometric proof that any two toric $\mathbb{Q}$-Gorenstein degenerations of a smooth del Pezzo $X$ surface are connected via trees of rational curves in the moduli space of $X$.

The Morrison Cone Conjecture under Deformation

We prove that if the Morrison cone conjecture holds for a smooth Calabi-Yau threefold $Y$, it holds for any smooth Calabi-Yau threefold deformation-equivalent to $Y$. We use this result to prove a new case of the Morrison cone conjecture.

Reflexive polygons and rational elliptic surfaces

In this note we study in detail the geometry of eight rational elliptic surfaces naturally associated to the sixteen reflexive polygons. The elliptic fibrations supported by these surfaces correspond under mirror symmetry to the eight families of smooth del Pezzo surfaces with very ample anticanonical bundle.

The Abelian/non-Abelian Correspondence and Gromov-Witten Invariants of Blow-ups

We prove the Abelian/non-Abelian Correspondence with bundles for target spaces that are partial flag bundles, combining and generalising results by Ciocan-Fontanine-Kim-Sabbah, Brown, and Oh. From this we deduce how genus-zero Gromov-Witten invariants change when a smooth projective variety X is blown up in a complete intersection defined by convex line bundles. In the case where the blow-up is Fano, our result gives closed-form expressions for certain genus-zero invariants of the blow-up in terms of invariants of X. We also give a reformulation of the Abelian/non-Abelian Correspondence in terms of Givental's formalism, which may be of independent interest.
