Exact N$^3$LO results for $q q^\prime\to H +X$

We compute the contribution to the total cross section for the inclusive production of a Standard Model Higgs boson induced by two quarks with different flavour in the initial state. Our calculation is exact in the Higgs boson mass and the partonic center-of-mass energy. We describe the reduction to master integrals, the construction of a canonical basis, and the solution of the corresponding differential equations. Our analytic result contains both Harmonic Polylogarithms and iterated integrals with additional letters in the alphabet.

Higgs production in gluon fusion to order α_s^4

The calculation of the NNLO QCD corrections to the partonic process gg -> H is outlined. For the coupling of the Higgs boson to the gluons we use an effective Lagrangian in the limit of a heavy top quark. The focus is on the evaluation of the virtual two-loop corrections. It is shown that the leading pole terms are in agreement with the general formula by Catani.

Complementarity of Resonant and Nonresonant Strong $WW$ Scattering at the LHC

We exhibit a complementary relationship between resonant $WZ$ and nonresonant $W^+W^+$ scattering in a chiral Lagrangian model of the electroweak symmetry breaking sector with a dominant ``$ρ$'' meson. We use the model to estimate the minimum luminosity for the LHC to ensure a ``no-lose'' capability to observe the symmetry breaking sector.
