On the Bit Error Rate Fluctuation Induced by Multipath Interference in the Coherent Regime for Intra Data Center Applications

We theoretically explain how multipath interference resizes PAM-4 constellation in the coherent regime and thus increases bit error rate fluctuation in intra data centers for the first time.

Experimental Comparison of Average-Power Constrained and Peak-Power Constrained 64QAM under Optimal Clipping in 400Gbps Unamplified Coherent Links

We experimentally demonstrated an end-to-end link budget optimization over clipping in 400Gbps unamplified links, showing that the clipped MB distribution outperforms the peak-power constrained 64QAM by 1dB link budget.
