HyperClaim: Fine-Grained Cross-Modal Hypergraph Reasoning for Video Misinformation Detection

Video misinformation detection is often approached through global multimodal fusion or free-form multimodal reasoning. Both paradigms can under-represent localized authenticity cues that arise from coupled interactions among query phrases, contextual text, and short temporal spans of frames. Because such interactions are inherently higher-order, pairwise graph formulations are insufficient to capture multi-way cross-modal dependencies, whereas hypergraphs offer a suitable representation for these relations. We propose HyperClaim, a discriminative temporal hypergraph framework for sample-level authenticity classification. Using the title or benchmark-provided paired text as a claim-like query, HyperClaim constructs a sparse heterogeneous hypergraph over query tokens, evidence tokens, and sampled frames; applies confidence-aware filtering and source budgeting to form compact text-frame and short-range temporal evidence units; performs adaptive soft-incidence reasoning with residual text-video calibration; and aggregates textual, visual, and hyperedge states through a discrepancy-aware readout. Without relying on generated rationales or external tool calls, HyperClaim preserves fine-grained cross-modal and temporal structure that global fusion tends to flatten. Under the FactGuard temporal protocol, it achieves 83.7%, 82.0%, and 87.3% accuracy on FakeSV, FakeTT, and FakeVV, respectively, outperforming strong discriminative and reasoning-centric baselines. Learned incidence and attention weights further reveal token- and frame-level structure.

SwitchCodec: A High-Fidelity Nerual Audio Codec With Sparse Quantization

Neural audio compression has emerged as a promising technology for efficiently representing speech, music, and general audio. However, existing methods suffer from significant performance degradation at limited bitrates, where the available embedding space is sharply constrained. To address this, we propose a universal high-fidelity neural audio compression algorithm featuring Residual Experts Vector Quantization (REVQ), which substantially expands the embedding space with minimal impact on bandwidth. A gentle load-balancing strategy is introduced to ensure the full utilization of this expanded space. Furthermore, we develop a novel multi-tiered discriminator that periodically stratifies STFT spectra, guiding the generator to focus on critical spectral regions. To support multiple bitrates without quality loss at the lower end, we adopt an efficient post-training strategy. Our proposed model achieves impressive performance, with PESQ and ViSQOL scores of 2.87 and 4.27, respectively, at 2.67 kbps bandwidth. The approach effectively reduces spectral blur, decreasing the distance to the original mel-spectrogram by 13%. Notably, our post-training strategy achieves performance comparable to dedicated fixed-bitrate models while reducing the required training time by half. Extensive ablation studies confirm the superiority of our method over baselines.

Switchcodec: Adaptive residual-expert sparse quantization for high-fidelity neural audio coding

Recent neural audio compression models often rely on residual vector quantization for high-fidelity coding, but using a fixed number of per-frame codebooks is suboptimal for the wide variability of audio content-especially for signals that are either very simple or highly complex. To address this limitation, we propose SwitchCodec, a neural audio codec based on Residual Experts Vector Quantization (REVQ). REVQ combines a shared quantizer with dynamically routed expert quantizers that are activated according to the input audio, decoupling bitrate from codebook capacity and improving compression efficiency. This design ensures full training and utilization of each quantizer. In addition, a variable-bitrate mechanism adjusts the number of active expert quantizers at inference, enabling multi-bitrate operation without retraining. Experiments demonstrate that SwitchCodec surpasses existing baselines on both objective metrics and subjective listening tests.

SR3R: Rethinking Super-Resolution 3D Reconstruction With Feed-Forward Gaussian Splatting

3D super-resolution (3DSR) aims to reconstruct high-resolution (HR) 3D scenes from low-resolution (LR) multi-view images. Existing methods rely on dense LR inputs and per-scene optimization, which restricts the high-frequency priors for constructing HR 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) to those inherited from pretrained 2D super-resolution (2DSR) models. This severely limits reconstruction fidelity, cross-scene generalization, and real-time usability. We propose to reformulate 3DSR as a direct feed-forward mapping from sparse LR views to HR 3DGS representations, enabling the model to autonomously learn 3D-specific high-frequency geometry and appearance from large-scale, multi-scene data. This fundamentally changes how 3DSR acquires high-frequency knowledge and enables robust generalization to unseen scenes. Specifically, we introduce SR3R, a feed-forward framework that directly predicts HR 3DGS representations from sparse LR views via the learned mapping network. To further enhance reconstruction fidelity, we introduce Gaussian offset learning and feature refinement, which stabilize reconstruction and sharpen high-frequency details. SR3R is plug-and-play and can be paired with any feed-forward 3DGS reconstruction backbone: the backbone provides an LR 3DGS scaffold, and SR3R upscales it to an HR 3DGS. Extensive experiments across three 3D benchmarks demonstrate that SR3R surpasses state-of-the-art (SOTA) 3DSR methods and achieves strong zero-shot generalization, even outperforming SOTA per-scene optimization methods on unseen scenes.

MagicGel: A Novel Visual-Based Tactile Sensor Design with MagneticGel

Force estimation is the core indicator for evaluating the performance of tactile sensors, and it is also the key technical path to achieve precise force feedback mechanisms. This study proposes a design method for a visual tactile sensor (VBTS) that integrates a magnetic perception mechanism, and develops a new tactile sensor called MagicGel. The sensor uses strong magnetic particles as markers and captures magnetic field changes in real time through Hall sensors. On this basis, MagicGel achieves the coordinated optimization of multimodal perception capabilities: it not only has fast response characteristics, but also can perceive non-contact status information of home electronic products. Specifically, MagicGel simultaneously analyzes the visual characteristics of magnetic particles and the multimodal data of changes in magnetic field intensity, ultimately improving force estimation capabilities.

Design and Implementation of Ultra-Wideband Dual-Polarized Conformal Phased Array

This letter presents an innovative design and implementation method for an ultra-wideband dual-polarized conformal phased array. The performance of single-layer continuous dipoles under bending conditions is evaluated through characteristic mode analysis to understand the impact of curvature on operational stability. This analysis provides design insights into the maximum allowable curvature while maintaining stable dipole performance. Subsequently, a single-layer metal radiation structure is designed as the array element, and simulations indicate that it supports ultra-wideband operation with dual polarizations. Using this element, an 8 * 8 ultra-wideband dual-polarized cylindrical-conformal array (UDCA) is developed, demonstrating stable performance even at a curvature radius as small as 100 mm. A physical prototype is fabricated cost-effectively using novel manufacturing techniques that stack a three-layer conformal substrate. Experimental result demonstrates that the proposed UDCA with a 1.2λ curvature radius operates at 3.6~9.6 GHz (90.9%) and achieves 60° wide-scanning in E-/H-planes, which provides a practical and promising solution for conformal array applications.
