Cross section and parametrization of charmonium decay

The parametrization forms of charmonium quasi two body decays are discussed in detail in this paper. The symmetry analysis and magnetic transition description are utilized to provide the multi-aspect comprehension of the decay dynamics, including the meson mixing angle, form factor, and $SU(3)$ symmetry breading effect. As the prerequisite, the electromagnetic cross sections involving scalar and pseudoscalar, are calculated for eight final states based on the approach of current algebra. Moreover, the mathematical manipulations of calculation for four kinds of final states are spelled out to illuminate the technique strategy.

Hadronic cross section of $e^+e^-$ annihilation at bottomonium energy region

The Born cross section and dressed cross section of $e^+e^-$ to $b\bar{b}$ and the total hadronic cross section in $e^+e^-$ annihilation in the bottomonium energy region are calculated based on the Rb values measured by the BaBar and Belle experiments. The data are used to calculate the vacuum polarization factors in the bottomonium energy region, and to determine the resonant parameters of the vector bottomonium(-like) states, the Y(10750), Upsilon(5S), and Upsilon(6S).

Upgrade of Beam Energy Measurement System at BEPC-II

The beam energy measurement system is of great importance and profit for both BEPC-II accelerator and BES-III detector. The system is based on measuring the energies of Compton back-scattered photons. Many advanced techniques and precise instruments are employed to realize the highly accurate measurement of positron/electron beam energy. During five year's running period, in order to meet the requirement of data taking and improve the capacity of measurement itself, the upgradation of system is continued, which involve the component reformation of laser and optics subsystem, replacement of view-port of the laser to vacuum insertion subsystem, the purchase of electric cooling system for high purity germanium detector, and the improvement of data acquisition and processing subsystem. The upgrading of system guarantees the smooth and efficient measuring of beam energy at BEPC-II and accommodates the accurate offline energy values for further physics analysis at BES-III.
