Spin-current-controlled anisotropic deformation of magnetic lump solitons

We investigate a (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear spin system containing an effective spin-current transport term. Based on its integrable structure, exact magnetic lump solutions are constructed on a rotating spin background, including both fundamental and higher-order configurations generated via the Darboux transformation. The obtained excitations are doubly localized in spatial directions, while their temporal evolution is characterized by intrinsic spin precession rather than translational motion of the localized envelope. It is shown that the effective spin-current contribution enters the localization coordinate and acts as a geometric control parameter for the spatial structure of the solutions. In particular, spin current induces anisotropic deformation of the localized profile, leading to a continuous transition toward a quasi-one-dimensional soliton-like state under specific parameter regimes. More importantly, this deformation mechanism is found to be universal across different hierarchical lump structures, including both fundamental and higher-order solutions, indicating that spin current governs a unified structural modulation law for the entire family of localized spin excitations. These results provide an analytically tractable example of spin-current-controlled anisotropic deformation and dimensional crossover in nonlinear spin systems, and further reveal a universal mechanism for geometric control of localized spin textures beyond individual solution types.

Dynamics of higher-order rational solitons for the nonlocal nonlinear Schrodinger equation with the self-induced parity-time-symmetric potential

The integrable nonlocal nonlinear Schrodinger (NNLS) equation with the self-induced parity-time-symmetric potential [Phys. Rev. Lett. 110 (2013) 064105] is investigated, which is an integrable extension of the standard NLS equation. Its novel higher-order rational solitons are found using the nonlocal version of the generalized perturbation (1, N-1)-fold Darboux transformation. These rational solitons illustrate abundant wave structures for the distinct choices of parameters (e.g., the strong and weak interactions of bright and dark rational solitons). Moreover, we also explore the dynamical behaviors of these higher-order rational solitons with some small noises on the basis of numerical simulations.

Generalized perturbation (n, M)-fold Darboux transformations and multi-rogue-wave structures for the modified self-steepening nonlinear Schrodinger equation

In this paper, a simple and constructive method is presented to find the generalized perturbation (n,M)-fold Darboux transformations (DTs) of the modified nonlinear Schrodinger (MNLS) equation in terms of fractional forms of determinants. In particular, we apply the generalized perturbation (1,N-1)-fold DTs to find its explicit multi-rogue-wave solutions. The wave structures of these rogue-wave solutions of the MNLS equation are discussed in detail for different parameters, which display abundant interesting wave structures, including the triangle and pentagon, etc. and may be useful to study the physical mechanism of multirogue waves in optics. The dynamical behaviors of these multi-rogue-wave solutions are illustrated using numerical simulations. The same Darboux matrix can also be used to investigate the Gerjikov-Ivanov equation such that its multi-rogue-wave solutions and their wave structures are also found. The method can also be extended to find multi-rogue-wave solutions of other nonlinear integrable equations.

Higher-order rational solitons and rogue-like wave solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear fluid mechanics equations

The novel generalized perturbation (n, M)-fold Darboux transformations (DTs) are reported for the (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) equation and its extension by using the Taylor expansion of the Darboux matrix. The generalized perturbation (1, N-1)-fold DTs are used to find their higher-order rational solitons and rogue wave solutions in terms of determinants. The dynamics behaviors of these rogue waves are discussed in detail for different parameters and time, which display the interesting RW and soliton structures including the triangle, pentagon, heptagon profiles, etc. Moreover, we find that a new phenomenon that the parameter (a) can control the wave structures of the KP equation from the higher-order rogue waves (a>0 or a<0) into higher-order rational solitons (a = 0) in (x, t)-space with y=const. These results may predict the corresponding dynamical phenomena in the models of fluid mechanics and other physically relevant systems.

Higher-order vector discrete rogue-wave states in the coupled Ablowitz-Ladik equations: exact solutions and stability

An integrable system of two-component nonlinear Ablowitz-Ladik (AL) equations is used to construct complex rogue-wave (RW) solutions in an explicit form. First, the modulational instability of continuous waves is studied in the system. Then, new higher-order discrete two-component RW solutions of the system are found by means of a newly derived discrete version of a generalized Darboux transformation. Finally, perturbed evolution of these RW states is explored in terms of systematic simulations, which demonstrates that tightly and loosely bound RWs are, respectively, nearly stable and strongly unstable solutions.
