OPSD-V: On-Policy Self-Distillation for Post-Training Few-Step Autoregressive Video Generators

We propose OPSD-V, an on-policy self-distillation paradigm for post-training few-step autoregressive (AR) video diffusion models. Existing few-step AR video generators can produce long videos with low latency, but still suffer from error accumulation and weakened motion dynamics during long autoregressive rollout. OPSD-V reduces long-horizon degradation while preserving the original few-step inference path. The key idea is to introduce real long-video data as temporal context during training and use it to provide dense trajectory-level supervision. Specifically, the student follows the exact inference-time rollout, generating each chunk conditioned on its own previously generated KV cache. In parallel, the teacher is evaluated at the same student-visited denoising states, but uses a cleaner AR-consistent temporal cache in which older history can be replaced by real-video context. This provides dense denoising-level corrective targets under on-policy AR cache dynamics, without changing the sampler, number of denoising steps, or inference-time cache mechanism. We apply OPSD-V to representative few-step AR video models, including Self-Forcing and LongLive. Experiments show consistent improvements in visual quality, motion dynamics, and VBenchLong scores. A user study with 10 participants comparing 20 video pairs shows that OPSD-V is preferred over the base models in 66.0% of overall-preference judgments (82.5% excluding ties).

Temporal and Cross-Modal Alignment for Enhanced Audiovisual Video Captioning

While Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) have advanced video understanding, achieving precise temporal and cross-modal alignment in audiovisual video captioning remains a formidable challenge. Most existing approaches suffer from modality detachment and temporal incoherence, failing to accurately bind auditory events to visual entities or capture complex causal dynamics. To address these deficiencies, we propose TCA-Captioner, a framework specifically engineered to enhance Temporal and Cross-Modal Alignment for audiovisual video captioning. We first introduce the Observer-Checker-Corrector (OCC) framework, an iterative refinement strategy that generates high-fidelity, meticulously grounded training data. Leveraging a curated high-density human interaction dataset, TCA-Captioner is optimized to model sophisticated audiovisual interactions. Furthermore, we present TCA-Bench, a diagnostic benchmark utilizing a Decoupled Evaluation Protocol to isolate and quantify model proficiency in audiovisual binding and temporal relational reasoning. Extensive experiments demonstrate that TCA-Captioner sets a new standard for temporally-coherent and synchronized audiovisual narratives.

LUVE : Latent-Cascaded Ultra-High-Resolution Video Generation with Dual Frequency Experts

Recent advances in video diffusion models have significantly improved visual quality, yet ultra-high-resolution (UHR) video generation remains a formidable challenge due to the compounded difficulties of motion modeling, semantic planning, and detail synthesis. To address these limitations, we propose \textbf{LUVE}, a \textbf{L}atent-cascaded \textbf{U}HR \textbf{V}ideo generation framework built upon dual frequency \textbf{E}xperts. LUVE employs a three-stage architecture comprising low-resolution motion generation for motion-consistent latent synthesis, video latent upsampling that performs resolution upsampling directly in the latent space to mitigate memory and computational overhead, and high-resolution content refinement that integrates low-frequency and high-frequency experts to jointly enhance semantic coherence and fine-grained detail generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our LUVE achieves superior photorealism and content fidelity in UHR video generation, and comprehensive ablation studies further validate the effectiveness of each component. LongCat-Video-Avatar 1.5 Technical Report

Despite advances in audio-driven video generation, achieving commercial-grade stability remains challenging. We present LongCat-Video-Avatar 1.5, an upgraded open-source framework prioritizing systematic engineering and production-readiness over architectural novelty. By upgrading the audio encoder to Whisper Large and meticulously scaling our training recipes, v1.5 achieves accurate lip-synchronization, full-body temporal stability, and robust long-video generation with strict identity consistency. Through rigorous data curation and RLHF Training, the model readily generalizes to stylized domains such as anime and animals, and natively handles complex real-world conditions, such as multi-person interactions and object handling. Furthermore, addressing the practical demands of industrial deployment, we employ advanced step distillation to accelerate inference to an optimal 8 NFE, achieving a favorable trade-off between serving efficiency and visual fidelity. The superiority of our approach is validated through extensive quantitative metrics and a rigorous human evaluation conducted on a comprehensive benchmark of over 500 diverse test cases. Results show that v1.5 achieves competitive or superior performance compared to leading closed-source systems (e.g., HeyGen, OmniHuman 1.5, Kling Avatar 2.0) across human-likeness ratings and expert-level quality assessments on our benchmark. With its open-source release, LongCat-Video-Avatar 1.5 narrows the gap between academic research prototypes and commercial-grade deployment.

TurboTalk: Progressive Distillation for One-Step Audio-Driven Talking Avatar Generation

Existing audio-driven video digital human generation models rely on multi-step denoising, resulting in substantial computational overhead that severely limits their deployment in real-world settings. While one-step distillation approaches can significantly accelerate inference, they often suffer from training instability. To address this challenge, we propose TurboTalk, a two-stage progressive distillation framework that effectively compresses a multi-step audio-driven video diffusion model into a single-step generator. We first adopt Distribution Matching Distillation to obtain a strong and stable 4-step student, and then progressively reduce the denoising steps from 4 to 1 through adversarial distillation. To ensure stable training under extreme step reduction, we introduce a progressive timestep sampling strategy and a self-compare adversarial objective that provides an intermediate adversarial reference that stabilizes progressive distillation. Our method achieve single-step generation of video talking avatar, boosting inference speed by 120 times while maintaining high generation quality.

MAN++: Scaling Momentum Auxiliary Network for Supervised Local Learning in Vision Tasks

Deep learning typically relies on end-to-end backpropagation for training, a method that inherently suffers from issues such as update locking during parameter optimization, high GPU memory consumption, and a lack of biological plausibility. In contrast, supervised local learning seeks to mitigate these challenges by partitioning the network into multiple local blocks and designing independent auxiliary networks to update each block separately. However, because gradients are propagated solely within individual local blocks, performance degradation occurs, preventing supervised local learning from supplanting end-to-end backpropagation. To address these limitations and facilitate inter-block information flow, we propose the Momentum Auxiliary Network++ (MAN++). MAN++ introduces a dynamic interaction mechanism by employing the Exponential Moving Average (EMA) of parameters from adjacent blocks to enhance communication across the network. The auxiliary network, updated via EMA, effectively bridges the information gap between blocks. Notably, we observed that directly applying EMA parameters can be suboptimal due to feature discrepancies between local blocks. To resolve this issue, we introduce a learnable scaling bias that balances feature differences, thereby further improving performance. We validate MAN++ through extensive experiments on tasks that include image classification, object detection, and image segmentation, utilizing multiple network architectures. The experimental results demonstrate that MAN++ achieves performance comparable to end-to-end training while significantly reducing GPU memory usage. Consequently, MAN++ offers a novel perspective for supervised local learning and presents a viable alternative to conventional training methods.

ViGoR-Bench: How Far Are Visual Generative Models From Zero-Shot Visual Reasoners?

Beneath the stunning visual fidelity of modern AIGC models lies a "logical desert", where systems fail tasks that require physical, causal, or complex spatial reasoning. Current evaluations largely rely on superficial metrics or fragmented benchmarks, creating a ``performance mirage'' that overlooks the generative process. To address this, we introduce ViGoR Vision-G}nerative Reasoning-centric Benchmark), a unified framework designed to dismantle this mirage. ViGoR distinguishes itself through four key innovations: 1) holistic cross-modal coverage bridging Image-to-Image and Video tasks; 2) a dual-track mechanism evaluating both intermediate processes and final results; 3) an evidence-grounded automated judge ensuring high human alignment; and 4) granular diagnostic analysis that decomposes performance into fine-grained cognitive dimensions. Experiments on over 20 leading models reveal that even state-of-the-art systems harbor significant reasoning deficits, establishing ViGoR as a critical ``stress test'' for the next generation of intelligent vision models. UFVideo: Towards Unified Fine-Grained Video Cooperative Understanding with Large Language Models

With the advancement of multi-modal Large Language Models (LLMs), Video LLMs have been further developed to perform on holistic and specialized video understanding. However, existing works are limited to specialized video understanding tasks, failing to achieve a comprehensive and multi-grained video perception. To bridge this gap, we introduce UFVideo, the first Video LLM with unified multi-grained cooperative understanding capabilities. Specifically, we design unified visual-language guided alignment to flexibly handle video understanding across global, pixel and temporal scales within a single model. UFVideo dynamically encodes the visual and text inputs of different tasks and generates the textual response, temporal localization, or grounded mask. Additionally, to evaluate challenging multi-grained video understanding tasks, we construct the UFVideo-Bench consisting of three distinct collaborative tasks within the scales, which demonstrates UFVideo's flexibility and advantages over GPT-4o. Furthermore, we validate the effectiveness of our model across 9 public benchmarks covering various common video understanding tasks, providing valuable insights for future Video LLMs.

ECHO: Towards Emotionally Appropriate and Contextually Aware Interactive Head Generation

In natural face-to-face interaction, participants seamlessly alternate between speaking and listening, producing facial behaviors (FBs) that are finely informed by long-range context and naturally exhibit contextual appropriateness and emotional rationality. Interactive Head Generation (IHG) aims to synthesize lifelike avatar head video emulating such capabilities. Existing IHG methods typically condition on dual-track signals (i.e., human user's behaviors and pre-defined audio for avatar) within a short temporal window, jointly driving generation of avatar's audio-aligned lip articulation and non-verbal FBs. However, two main challenges persist in these methods: (i) the reliance on short-clip behavioral cues without long-range contextual modeling leads them to produce facial behaviors lacking contextual appropriateness; and (ii) the entangled, role-agnostic fusion of dual-track signals empirically introduces cross-signal interference, potentially compromising lip-region synchronization during speaking. To this end, we propose ECHO, a novel IHG framework comprising two key components: a Long-range Contextual Understanding (LCU) component that facilitates contextual understanding of both behavior-grounded dynamics and linguistic-driven affective semantics to promote contextual appropriateness and emotional rationality of synthesized avatar FBs; and a block-wise Spatial-aware Decoupled Cross-attention Modulation (SDCM) module, that preserves self-audio-driven lip articulation while adaptively integrating user contextual behavioral cues for non-lip facial regions, complemented by our designed two-stage training paradigm, to jointly enhance lip synchronization and visual fidelity. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed components and ECHO's superior IHG performance.

WildActor: Unconstrained Identity-Preserving Video Generation

Production-ready human video generation requires digital actors to maintain strictly consistent full-body identities across dynamic shots, viewpoints and motions, a setting that remains challenging for existing methods. Prior methods often suffer from face-centric behavior that neglects body-level consistency, or produce copy-paste artifacts where subjects appear rigid due to pose locking. We present Actor-18M, a large-scale human video dataset designed to capture identity consistency under unconstrained viewpoints and environments. Actor-18M comprises 1.6M videos with 18M corresponding human images, covering both arbitrary views and canonical three-view representations. Leveraging Actor-18M, we propose WildActor, a framework for any-view conditioned human video generation. We introduce an Asymmetric Identity-Preserving Attention mechanism coupled with a Viewpoint-Adaptive Monte Carlo Sampling strategy that iteratively re-weights reference conditions by marginal utility for balanced manifold coverage. Evaluated on the proposed Actor-Bench, WildActor consistently preserves body identity under diverse shot compositions, large viewpoint transitions, and substantial motions, surpassing existing methods in these challenging settings.

MAViD: A Multimodal Framework for Audio-Visual Dialogue Understanding and Generation

We propose MAViD, a novel Multimodal framework for Audio-Visual Dialogue understanding and generation. Existing approaches primarily focus on non-interactive systems and are limited to producing constrained and unnatural human speech. The primary challenge of this task lies in effectively integrating understanding and generation capabilities, as well as achieving seamless multimodal audio-video fusion. To solve these problems, we propose a Conductor-Creator architecture that divides the dialogue system into two primary components. The Conductor is tasked with understanding, reasoning, and generating instructions by breaking them down into motion and speech components, thereby enabling fine-grained control over interactions. The Creator then delivers interactive responses based on these instructions. Furthermore, to address the difficulty of generating long videos with consistent identity, timbre, and tone using dual DiT structures, the Creator adopts a structure that combines autoregressive (AR) and diffusion models. The AR model is responsible for audio generation, while the diffusion model ensures high-quality video generation. Additionally, we propose a novel fusion module to enhance connections between contextually consecutive clips and modalities, enabling synchronized long-duration audio-visual content generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our framework can generate vivid and contextually coherent long-duration dialogue interactions and accurately interpret users' multimodal queries.

U-Mind: A Unified Framework for Real-Time Multimodal Interaction with Audiovisual Generation

Full-stack multimodal interaction in real-time is a central goal in building intelligent embodied agents capable of natural, dynamic communication. However, existing systems are either limited to unimodal generation or suffer from degraded reasoning and poor cross-modal alignment, preventing coherent and perceptually grounded interactions. In this work, we introduce U-Mind, the first unified system for high-intelligence multimodal dialogue that supports real-time generation and jointly models language, speech, motion, and video synthesis within a single interactive loop. At its core, U-Mind implements a Unified Alignment and Reasoning Framework that addresses two key challenges: enhancing cross-modal synchronization via a segment-wise alignment strategy, and preserving reasoning abilities through Rehearsal-Driven Learning. During inference, U-Mind adopts a text-first decoding pipeline that performs internal chain-of-thought planning followed by temporally synchronized generation across modalities. To close the loop, we implement a real-time video rendering framework conditioned on pose and speech, enabling expressive and synchronized visual feedback. Extensive experiments demonstrate that U-Mind achieves state-of-the-art performance on a range of multimodal interaction tasks, including question answering, instruction following, and motion generation, paving the way toward intelligent, immersive conversational agents.

PosterReward: Unlocking Accurate Evaluation for High-Quality Graphic Design Generation

Recent advancements in the text-rendering capabilities of image generation models have made the end-to-end creation of graphic design content, such as posters, increasingly feasible. However, existing reward models fall short of accurately assessing design quality, as they primarily focus on global image aesthetics while overlooking the critical dimensions of typography and layout. Furthermore, the scarcity of domain-specific preference data remains a significant bottleneck, which limits the further development of graphic design evaluation and generation. To bridge this gap, we introduce an automated pipeline to construct a high-quality dataset of 70k poster preferences by leveraging the consensus of multiple Multi-modal Large Language Models (MLLMs) to simulate human-like judgment. Utilizing this dataset, we develop PosterReward, a reward model specifically designed for high-precision poster assessment through a cascaded, multi-stage training strategy. We also provide multiple variants of the model to cater to different application scenarios. Finally, we introduce PosterRewardBench and PosterBench to evaluate the performance of existing reward models in poster assessment and the generation capabilities of current text-to-image models in poster creation, respectively.

PosterOmni: Generalized Artistic Poster Creation via Task Distillation and Unified Reward Feedback

Image-to-poster generation is a high-demand task requiring not only local adjustments but also high-level design understanding. Models must generate text, layout, style, and visual elements while preserving semantic fidelity and aesthetic coherence. The process spans two regimes: local editing, where ID-driven generation, rescaling, filling, and extending must preserve concrete visual entities; and global creation, where layout- and style-driven tasks rely on understanding abstract design concepts. These intertwined demands make image-to-poster a multi-dimensional process coupling entity-preserving editing with concept-driven creation under image-prompt control. To address these challenges, we propose PosterOmni, a generalized artistic poster creation framework that unlocks the potential of a base edit model for multi-task image-to-poster generation. PosterOmni integrates the two regimes, namely local editing and global creation, within a single system through an efficient data-distillation-reward pipeline: (i) constructing multi-scenario image-to-poster datasets covering six task types across entity-based and concept-based creation; (ii) distilling knowledge between local and global experts for supervised fine-tuning; and (iii) applying unified PosterOmni Reward Feedback to jointly align visual entity-preserving and aesthetic preference across all tasks. Additionally, we establish PosterOmni-Bench, a unified benchmark for evaluating both local editing and global creation. Extensive experiments show that PosterOmni significantly enhances reference adherence, global composition quality, and aesthetic harmony, outperforming all open-source baselines and even surpassing several proprietary systems.

Infinite-World: Scaling Interactive World Models to 1000-Frame Horizons via Pose-Free Hierarchical Memory

We propose Infinite-World, a robust interactive world model capable of maintaining coherent visual memory over 1000+ frames in complex real-world environments. While existing world models can be efficiently optimized on synthetic data with perfect ground-truth, they lack an effective training paradigm for real-world videos due to noisy pose estimations and the scarcity of viewpoint revisits. To bridge this gap, we first introduce a Hierarchical Pose-free Memory Compressor (HPMC) that recursively distills historical latents into a fixed-budget representation. By jointly optimizing the compressor with the generative backbone, HPMC enables the model to autonomously anchor generations in the distant past with bounded computational cost, eliminating the need for explicit geometric priors. Second, we propose an Uncertainty-aware Action Labeling module that discretizes continuous motion into a tri-state logic. This strategy maximizes the utilization of raw video data while shielding the deterministic action space from being corrupted by noisy trajectories, ensuring robust action-response learning. Furthermore, guided by insights from a pilot toy study, we employ a Revisit-Dense Finetuning Strategy using a compact, 30-minute dataset to efficiently activate the model's long-range loop-closure capabilities. Extensive experiments, including objective metrics and user studies, demonstrate that Infinite-World achieves superior performance in visual quality, action controllability, and spatial consistency.

PositionIC: Unified Position and Identity Consistency for Image Customization

Recent subject-driven image customization excels in fidelity, yet fine-grained instance-level spatial control remains an elusive challenge, hindering real-world applications. This limitation stems from two factors: a scarcity of scalable, position-annotated datasets, and the entanglement of identity and layout by global attention mechanisms. To this end, we introduce PositionIC, a unified framework for high-fidelity, spatially controllable multi-subject customization. First, we present BMPDS, the first automatic data-synthesis pipeline for position-annotated multi-subject datasets, effectively providing crucial spatial supervision. Second, we design a lightweight, layout-aware diffusion framework that integrates a novel visibility-aware attention mechanism. This mechanism explicitly models spatial relationships via an NeRF-inspired volumetric weight regulation to effectively decouple instance-level spatial embeddings from semantic identity features, enabling precise, occlusion-aware placement of multiple subjects. Extensive experiments demonstrate PositionIC achieves state-of-the-art performance on public benchmarks, setting new records for spatial precision and identity consistency. Our work represents a significant step towards truly controllable, high-fidelity image customization in multi-entity scenarios. Code and data: https://github.com/MeiGen-AI/PositionIC.

Forge-and-Quench: Enhancing Image Generation for Higher Fidelity in Unified Multimodal Models

Integrating image generation and understanding into a single framework has become a pivotal goal in the multimodal domain. However, how understanding can effectively assist generation has not been fully explored. Unlike previous works that focus on leveraging reasoning abilities and world knowledge from understanding models, this paper introduces a novel perspective: leveraging understanding to enhance the fidelity and detail richness of generated images. To this end, we propose Forge-and-Quench, a new unified framework that puts this principle into practice. In the generation process of our framework, an MLLM first reasons over the entire conversational context, including text instructions, to produce an enhanced text instruction. This refined instruction is then mapped to a virtual visual representation, termed the Bridge Feature, via a novel Bridge Adapter. This feature acts as a crucial link, forging insights from the understanding model to quench and refine the generation process. It is subsequently injected into the T2I backbone as a visual guidance signal, alongside the enhanced text instruction that replaces the original input. To validate this paradigm, we conduct comprehensive studies on the design of the Bridge Feature and Bridge Adapter. Our framework demonstrates exceptional extensibility and flexibility, enabling efficient migration across different MLLM and T2I models with significant savings in training overhead, all without compromising the MLLM's inherent multimodal understanding capabilities. Experiments show that Forge-and-Quench significantly improves image fidelity and detail across multiple models, while also maintaining instruction-following accuracy and enhancing world knowledge application. Models and codes are available at https://github.com/YanbingZeng/Forge-and-Quench.

Active Intelligence in Video Avatars via Closed-loop World Modeling

Current video avatar generation methods excel at identity preservation and motion alignment but lack genuine agency, they cannot autonomously pursue long-term goals through adaptive environmental interaction. We address this by introducing L-IVA (Long-horizon Interactive Visual Avatar), a task and benchmark for evaluating goal-directed planning in stochastic generative environments, and ORCA (Online Reasoning and Cognitive Architecture), the first framework enabling active intelligence in video avatars. ORCA embodies Internal World Model (IWM) capabilities through two key innovations: (1) a closed-loop OTAR cycle (Observe-Think-Act-Reflect) that maintains robust state tracking under generative uncertainty by continuously verifying predicted outcomes against actual generations, and (2) a hierarchical dual-system architecture where System 2 performs strategic reasoning with state prediction while System 1 translates abstract plans into precise, model-specific action captions. By formulating avatar control as a POMDP and implementing continuous belief updating with outcome verification, ORCA enables autonomous multi-step task completion in open-domain scenarios. Extensive experiments demonstrate that ORCA significantly outperforms open-loop and non-reflective baselines in task success rate and behavioral coherence, validating our IWM-inspired design for advancing video avatar intelligence from passive animation to active, goal-oriented behavior.
